I will kick off this new Lati Green thread with a photo of my Lea, Madison, and her sister Nora (a rare instance of them getting along n__n)

Hey, I was wondering if anyone has tried Blythe clothes on Lati greens? Are they too chunky or would it work?

 

Nope, Lati Green is too chunky for Blythe clothes.

I got a shipping notice today for the LG body I have ordered for a Reina head I purchased here on the MP. Another Lati Green . . they are like potato chips . . . I really thought all I wanted was one! (and Reina makes 4).

One my pre-semester prep dies down I should try and get pictures of the 3 as they are now -- Rufus, Pippa and my tan Teru whom I have named Peter (not sure it suits him but until I think of something else . . .. )

Does anyone else have any spam?

BTW SporeXP, how is Maddy?

 

Oh awesome, so many Lati Greens for you! You have to post them~ So far I have not been bitten by the big, but if I were to get another green I think it would be a Coco.
Maddy is great, thanks for asking! We are getting ready for the convention next week and are super excited! So good luck with the prep, maybe the next set of picspam you post will have an appearance from her in it! Plus my cousin's first doll shipped today, and along with this doll are some surprises for her so be on the lookout for that soon (she is going to have a totally different look so hopefully it works!)
I always have spam if you are asking for it. XD This time I suppose it is not the traditional sort though. I tried out stop motion for the first time yesterday using my dolls (with Maddy as the star, of course). I watched your video, SporeXP -- very nice! I always have wanted to try something like that with my dolls but have no idea how it would be done. (Although my nephew is a film student and is absolutely dying to get his hands on my dolls for the same reason).

Do you think Maddy will be able to deal with her stardom. . . . once it comes? LOL!

 

Thank you! I am going to have to try again some other time, even making a video that short takes quite a while, and I made quite a few errors. It would be really cool to see what a film student could do with your cuties!

Reina's body arrived today (boy that sounds weird! only in this hobby, LOL!). I have a pretty busy next few days but I'll try to make time for some pictures -- once I figure out what she will be wearing, of course. She can't be introduced to the dollie world nekkid!

Rufus (my first, a WS Teru) is in the back with Pippa (my Lea). In the front are Peter (my tanned Teru) and Molly (my Reina - not sure Molly will be her final name yet).

lol thanks, her attitude is so big I had to get her a wig to match it! Yep it's a Luts wig, I was really iffy on mohair but decided to go for it, and was surprised at how incredibly soft it is!

 

Hello all ^^ My mother just got a a Lati Green Renia and she was wondering if honey delf clothes would fit.

 

Be sure to tell her congrats and send her over to the site, we always enjoy seeing photos!
The only honey delf clothing item I have ordered for my green is a pair of panties lol so I am not sure about the fit of the rest of the clothes.

I thought it might be an "Auntie Spampy" creation but just wanted to be sure. It is very pretty -- I love purple and it looks wonderful on Haneoka.

 

Thanks so much, Casta! I am glad to finally have more than one wig for her, since my other doll has 4 wigs. In Maddy's defense though, she does have more clothes. And that reminds me that I really should order from Spampy again sometime soon!
I have to do a 5 minute live demo next week for school. I am going to bring Maddy and teach everyone how to make a quick and easy felt doll beret. I hope everyone likes her!

 

Soooo, I've been outed! I did order an outfit from Luts in the honey delf size so I'll post a picture when it arrives to show how it fits. Until then, here's my new (and first) little lady:

 

Oh Gherkin, she is adorable! Congrats! I love her little uniform and her eyes match so well with the colours in the skirt. I hope you don't have any problems with the Honey Delf outfit you ordered, I looked both dolls up on the size chat and LaTi Greens are all around just a little bit bigger.

 

SporeXP, well, one of the outfits is a cat costume that should be baggy enought to fit many different dolls. LOL I couldn't resist and Halloween is right around the corner. The other, well, we'll see. I did see the size difference, in fact, right now I'm trying to scale down a dress pattern from a bigger doll to fit so I'm working with all the measurements.

I'll keep my figners crossed, I really like the Luts clothes but haven't seen too much on LaTi yet. Do they have any events coming up that will have new clothes? It also looks like a lot of their dolls are out of stock. I bought mine on the secondary market so I haven't purchased anything directly from the company.

LaTi didn't have the wig I wanted either so I ordered a Fairyland Littlefee wig. There are a couple floating around my house that fit her very well and I wanted one in carrot.

Since I haven't come up with a name yet, my daughter has named her Sweet Pea. So that will stick unless her new wig gives her a different personality.

 

I have several Honey Delf outfits for my Bambicrony girls-I'll try one on one of my Lati Greens for you.

 

Aw cute, getting into the Halloween spirit already! Good luck with your patterning, I have never been good at that lol. Luts clothes are awesome, so I don't blame you.
LaTi uses ordering periods for their dolls, so they only have them listed as "in stock" at certain times. I haven't kept tabs on the company at all after I received my girl because they took so long to send her to me I didn't feel like ever dealing with them again... >__< so I'm not sure if they will be doing anything in terms of clothing anytime soon haha.

Just a quick post . . . I was playing with wigs and clothes this morning and I tried girly stuff and a new wig on my Teru and he looked too cute! So "he" is now a "she" -- I may have to change her name though -- can you have a girl called Rufus?

 

Aww, show us pics! So far I have preferred the look of Teru as a boy but maybe you can change my mind. I don't really think Rufus is a girl name, no... lol

 

I will try to get pictures tomorrow . . . and I think you are right about the name change. LOL! At least this will make getting clothes easier -- I will only have to buy girl things!!

And I think I have come up with a name for my Reina girl. I think I will call her "Stella".

 

Hi there... I'm having a horrible time finding clothes. Where do you guy's shop and shoes to if anyone knows

 

I usually look for Yo-SD sized clothing on Etsy, and the shoes I have for my girl are from ReleaseRain. I have also ordered custom clothing from the user Spampy here on DoA, she makes some really cute stuff for LaTi Greens! (I am actually on her wait list right now XD)

I managed to get a quick picture of my Teru who I think I will now make into a girl. I think I will call her Abby (although I'm not sure about that yet). Here she is:



I always thought the Teru made a better boy than girl, too SporeXP. I think my Tan Teru may still have to be a boy -- but I think with Teru girls it is all in the wig. I have a number of 6/7 wigs and I tried them all on him/her but this was the only one I thought suited her -- save for the one he was wearing when he was a he!

 

I second SporeXP's Spampy recommendation. The set my Teru girl is wearing in the picture is made by "Auntie Spampy". But you can also search etsy under "lati green" -- that way you can narrow down the YoSD clothes to those that may be the right length.

spensers_mom - Don't hate me, when I look at your Teru I still see boy! That outfit is really cute though.

 

LOL!! No worries! How could I hate you (Maddie's mom? Never!) -- it is, though a bit difficult even for me to start thinking of "he" as a "she" . . . we'll see if this takes and let you know . . .

The funny thing is that I can only see my tan Teru Elf as a boy!

Yea! my Luts Honey Delf clothes came today!!!!!! I haven't tried on the kitty costume but I did try on this Choco Shake outfit: http://eluts.com/shop/step1.php?number=681

Other than putting a hook on the back of the skirt cause it won't snap shut. No problem with the shirt, it fits around the middle and snaps at the neck. Here she is with a new mohair wig from fairyland.

 

I've been a terrible lurker of late...just so busy with dolly and house projects right now, I have next to no time to do anything else. But I had to pop on here today to say:

spensers_mom, I think your Teru makes an adorable little girl! It gives her such a cute and quirky little expression...and that outfit she's wearing really goes with it! I could really see her being a bit of a wild child, uniquely independant and creative, happily shopping on the street of Harajuku!

Gherkin, your girl is pure love and that outfit is perfect for her! I love, love, love it! So cute!

 

Thanks PoeticSoul -- I thought it did look cute on her but I haven't tried anything else on her yet so we'll have to play a bit with her look. I think she will be a bit of a wild child -- which isn't good because Pippa (my Lea) already has enough attitude for two!

I think I have sorted out my Lati Green issues: my white skinned Teru will be a girl - Abby. My Tan Teru will be a boy and he'll now be named Rufus (I love that name for some reason). And I think that Abby and Pippa may run rough shod all over me but they will have attitude! My dollie friends always kid me that I live vicariously through my dolls (I teach university and can't really be the wild child I may want to!)

My guess is Abby and Pippa would like to join Madison in that "rock star" mode, SporeXP!

Nothing wrong with living through your dolls! I really like playing out Maddy's character, whereas my MSD is sort of a play on how I used to be when I was just starting high school.

Great photo story SporeXP! I had better not let my girls see it or they will be wondering why they don't have any of that neat stuff, LOL!

And I love the way that this blonde wig looks on Maddy -- so different from the grey mohair and it makes her look so different (still great just different).
