Lati Yellow Discussion Part 26

Another question I FINALLY got back in to my Lati account ( had lost the password and couldn't get it to email me) ... anyway, I expected to find some points as I have heard people talking about having quite a few of them. I purchased two limited whites a year ago and I have 5 points which makes sense with a page I found on their FAQ saying you get 1% back in points, another post said it depends on how you pay and can be up to 2%...but now I am confused. I read posts of people getting 20% or 15%, and it had to do with bonuses due to late shipments. My order shipped almost exactly one year after placement. Did they do away with that, was it it limited, or do you have to request it?

 

Rose414, it is possible to get up to 15% late points, but it is necessary to request it. You should write on Q&A board and ask about your late points.

 

What is considered 'late' to them in order to earn those points?

 

Here's Lati's explanation about the late points:

The message is quite old, though, so I'm not sure if it is still valid. In any case 15% is the maximum no matter how late your order is.

 

Lati's bonus points policy:
"Delay for 1 to 15 days: 5% refund points
Delay for 16 to 30 days: 10% refund points
Delay for 31 days and over: 15% refund points" 2012-06-27
I can not find anywhere how long is the time for making a doll. A few years ago it was written at the bottom of each sales page. For a basic doll it's about 2 months + 2 extra weeks for a faceup. For limited dolls the time is longer, it's more than 3 months. Lati had a different bonus point policy earlier with 20% refund points for any delay, and the official processing time used to be shorter.
Yes, Lati's point policy is old but still valid.

 

According to the Lati message I mentioned earlier the making times were:

"1. We need 35 working days for Basics and 65 working days for Limited doll. But
we count those days after the order period closed.

2. We need 7more working days for adding face up (basic ver.) service.

3. Working days don't including Korea's public holidies and Lati's short breaks that we noticed.

4. We count those delivery due date after the order period closed."

Theoretically there are 21 working days in a month, but Lati seems to have a lot of holidays, so there are less working days than that.

 

Thank you both, well that means with their current long waiting times that everyone really qualifies for the late points. Not sure anyone is getting their dolls within 2-3 months! I waited 11 months for my Lati White Snow white Bayer and it's up to 7 months at the moment for Secret Garden Jia and still counting. So if I take the plunge again with any future Latis I'm going to poke them about some late points!

 

Thank you all! I will make a request and see what happens & Smilga, that explains the 20% I saw mentioned- I was reading through some very old threads trying to figure it out. My year long wait would certainly qualify for 15% if they still do this.

 

Yes, you just have to ask nicely for your late points on Q&A board and give your order number. They will give you 15% points for sure. The only time they did not want to give me points was the last time because they mixed up the order number. They gave me points for my older order and marked it as if they gave me points for the last order. I had to explain them about their mistake and then they fixed all that. They are always very nice when I ask about points.

There is still one week till the end of the ordering period, but all full sets are marked as sold out. I don't remember Lati mentioning anything about the limited amount of full sets. I think it's quite strange.

 

The full sets were probably listed separately because Lati promised some extra hands for those who bought a full set within the first week or so. It is still possible to get the full sets just by ticking the separate boxes in the regular orders. I don't rememeber seeing this kind of listing of separate full sets earlier.

So if you still want a full set Jungle doll, just select the regular one and tick the boxes for the outfit, wig and shoes.

Do Lati usually have a separate schedule for releasing their basics? I had thought they opened up basics right after an Event release, but it could just be my faulty memory?

 

The weather is amazing today! Finally the sun is shining, birds are singing, and I have so many task to fulfill today... but Charity and Lili asked me to make a few photos of them, as they are enjoying the spring day so much!! I hope everyone have a lovely day too!

 

Does anyone know of a person here in the US that does faceups that look like Lati factory makeup? I know some people do beautiful makeup and I appreciate those too but I really just want it to look like Lati's for this doll.

I have a question: has anyone received their Hunter Kuroo from Snow White? I'm waiting on mine from Doll Peddlar and it is totally killing me!!!!!!!!

 

Doll Peddlar should receive a Lati parcel soon because there will be a Berry inside too... this is all the information what I know, but as far I only saw direct ordered Kuroo from that event.

Oooowh Luna is so cute! My weekend was really great, I bought a lati in second hand, one of my dream doll!

 

I just wrote Lati about a points refund for my delayed Basic S.Belle and they gave me 26 points . Additionally, they told me that the Basic doll shipping will begin this month (I ordered on the 9th September with face-up).

I just went onto the site, and she's available! Gosh, she's adorable. I was considering Jungle in Lati Berry but I'm so glad I waited. I know the wait time for her and all Latis is CRAZY, but I'm sure when the time gets close, I will have renewed energy.

PS. I got the Jia because the expression in the photos, coloring and all, looked like my daughter.

Yes, the long lead time is SOO hard! I'm just hopeful that Lati will get it together sometime soon to get the wait down... looking forward to seeing if someone can answer the Joy/Joi question!

 

They are the same. Lati wrote Joy to the website but wrote Joi to the CoA... (At least they wrote Joi to the basic Joy's CoA, maybe they will change it with the Secret Garden Joy...)

They generally answer you directly on Q&A on their website, unless that has changed

 

I see a notice that Basic sales are opening the 11th- 31st!!! Does that mean Yellows, Whites, all? Looks like the event head is yellow..

 

For the basic yellow this is sure for the white : I don't know
