Are these dolls the tan skin tone? I only have Sophia and she is normal skin. I just thought the tan was darker than this?

 

They are tan skin tone. This is normal tan but there is brown tan also. It is much darker.

 

So the new Lati Limited release has been announced on the website. They're all pretty cute, Happy is adorable but I wouldn't fancy her faceup for everyday use and I think Jia is soooooo cute I can't stand it LOL But her faceup etc isn't anything unique and really it's just given me styling and character ideas for my own Jia (Secret Garden) who Lati still have!!! Grrr.

I am curious to see those gift hands. It got me wondering if there was any gifty things for the Secret Garden release, I don't know how to find the previous news notice for that. Meh. Oh and there's a new sculpt 'Berry'.

But anyhoo here's the announcement:

Hello This is Lati.

It's been a while since we announced new release. The New Limited, "Jungle in Lati" is coming!!


Duration : 27th February, 2017 ~ 20th March, 2017 (Korean time basis)

* Special offer for "Jungle in Lati"

1. “Chu ver. S.Belle” head (glass eyes and make-up not included) will go to all the customers who purchase at least 1 Limited doll within seven days after new release sales opening.

2. For customers who purchase at least one full set package within seven days after new release sales opening, newly launched "heart shaped hand parts"(one pair) will be given as a gift.

This is the first time to meet "Berry" as part of New Limited, "Jungle in Lati"

The Tarzan Benny is too cute! I have thought that I will get no more Latis because of their horrible waiting times, but I have 210 points left from previous releases that have been delivered late, so could get Tarzan pretty cheap - especially as I think I can skip the wig and clothes. I think the limited dolls have been selling for $300, so that would leave only $90 + shipping...

 

The "Chu ver. S.Belle” head is adorable!!

I may have to buy something from this release. If you order a full set package within first week of the event will you qualify for both the head and hands or just the hands?

 

Where did you see the Chu S.belle?

 

I thought I had seen it on Facebook, now I think maybe I'm getting her mixed up with the new Berry since she has quite pursed lips. Oops~

Lati site has separate entries for full packages (on the Yellow Limiteds page) and those have options for Chu Belle face ups and outfits, too, so I assume you would get the extra head even with a full package. But it might be wise to ask Lati to be sure...

So has anyone decided on whether they're ordering? I was pretty surprised to see the "Full Package" option.... Only $2,685....

 

I'll get Tarzan Benny, but not the wig and outfit. Those are cute but I can live without them. And just the doll is $300 and I have 210 points, so I'll only have to pay $90 + shipping. Better use the points before Lati goes out of business. It does not seem that they have got their waiting times under control, so it will be a long long wait again.

 

I'm thinking of getting Jungle in Lati ver. Angry Tiger [Happy] Fullset and maybe the Elly full doll with her wig. But, I can't decide if I really like the normal skin version of Elly versus Elly in Tan Skin [like Angry Bunny Elly].

 

So last night I poked Lati on their Q & A board about when they're going to send out my Secret Garden Jia that I bought 2nd August last year. They responded that the Secret Garden release will begin shipping out in March. Which is like tomorrow for me (and Lati) on our side of the world. LOL So I'm gonna check my order every day until I see that it says shipped. *glares at order*

 

Hehe Benny is adorable, that's awesome that you have points saved up to use~

It makes me sad to think Lati may never catch up. It seems they always need new orders to stay afloat but can't keep up with the demand. Considering the price points of these dolls in comparison to other companies you would think they should manage.

Angry Tiger Happy probably would be my choice too, but I can't make my mind up whether I want to deal with the wait times or just continue to buy secondhand...

On another note, Dotty is getting excited for Easter with her pal Mochi~

 

I agree the wait times are ridiculously long. But, in my case, I'm not in too much of a hurry to get them. I have a Cygne fullset that I'm waiting for that I'm looking forward to spending some quality time with!

I love the Jungle release just bought Jia Fullset and can't wait to receive Chu S Belle, she is absolutely adorable. I will put up with the huge wait to get these beauties even though hope Lati will decrease waiting times

 

I just saw that you can't order the limited dolls without the fullset outfit and wig anymore. That sucks...

 

Oh yes, you can. Those few shown on the home page are fullsets but if you go to the "Limited Collection" Yellow page, you'll find another set of pictures of the same dolls and you can then pick which options you want. I have ordered Tarzan Benny, just the doll no wig or outfit.

 

I thought the same and I was very disappointed, but then I discovered non fullset dolls I had a lot of points and I love the Angry Tiger Happy, so I ordered her yesterday without any extras. I hope I will get her in one year together with the Chu S. Belle head.

 

I broke an order the Fullset Angry Tiger and just the full doll of Brilliant Blue Bird Elly... Ugh, why Lati are your dolls so cute!?

And for some spam, I just got a twin of Angry Bunny Elly from Doll Peddlar! They fits so perfect since I'm a triplet.. lol it reminds me of my sister and me!

 

I love the new jungle collection : the little tiger is so adorable and I love the outfit of Elly but..... leadtime are killing me so I will not order for this time. Always hoping that they can improve the delay now that there is less collection than before.

Wish I had the patience to finally get a Lati... but a one year wait time... I don't think I have that kind of patience D:

 

I don't really have that kind of patience any more either but I had a little over 200 points from old purchases and I thought that it is too much to go to waste, so I did the plunge once more. I just hope Lati's waiting times are getting a bit shorter because they have had fewer releases (except the event specific ones that are sold for only for a very short time).

Just want to tell you that if any of you are interested in tan Berry (Taipei Special Limited ver. Berry) and / or "Prison break ver. Prisoner [Nana]", all limited to doll festivals, there is a tiny chance that Lati might sell them for a day or two on their website, for those like me that still don't mind to wait a year, lol ---> [laughs a bit angrily.... grrrlllooolllll]

I wrote to them and they said a lot of people are asking so they are considering selling them or not.

Please, if you are interested, write to them! I fell in love with those two...

 

I usually just get my Lati from doll peddlar if I miss out on one! She usually gets what I want eventually.

 

That would be fantastic, because that Berry is perfect the way she is (imo) ♥ I don't mind waiting for a Lati, I think they are worthy and because of that and my crush on Happy, I ordered her XD

I poked Lati about their Basic sales and also to ask if/when they're going to add G. Yuri to their Basics.

They said they had no schedule for a Basic release as yet and no current plans for G. Yuri to be added as a basic. Darn it. I love G. Yuri but don't want to pay $500 for that Limited Icecream version that I can see on Doll Peddlar. *mumble grumble* Hopefully they'll add her in the future.

 

I can't buy from Doll Peddlar because I am sure they would not agree with my "shipping necessities" ---> declaring lower value on customs form

As soon as I saw her I thought she was the cutest darn doll I'd ever seen. Jia is my favourite Lati sculpt, if I hadn't bought the Secret Garden Jia I would definitely buy this one. As it is, this little Jungle Jia is inspiring me with styling and character ideas for my Garden Jia. LOL I know Lati's wait times absolutely suck, I bought Garden Jia on 2nd August last year. It might also be because of the time of the year, since then we've had the end of our school year for our kids (I'm in Australia) and then Christmas, New Year so it hasn't seemed a huge long time for me even though it IS a significant amount of time to wait on a doll. I like knowing that I've paid for her and she's coming later. I already knew I would have to wait so I wasn't dying of anticipation expecting her to arrive in like a month.
Having said all that though..a year is SUCH a stupid long time. But I will shamelessly encourage you to purchase her anyway LOLOL

I was super fortunate in that I sold my Town Circus Sunny (Lati) so I could buy Garden Jia. Gotta keep those dolly funds working

On another note, I was actually surprised to notice that the Tiny Delf Tyl Tyl sculpt is very similar to Lati Happy's sculpt. I noticed that in my recent Tiny Delf picture foraging.

She has a mystic head too, so I think she's somehow special. My mystic Jia is tan and has vampire teeth So I might buy this one, and her OE head is adorable too, the face-up.

I see the resemblance on the lips only, the eyes are very different, and as much as I love Luts, I think Happy is the cutest

Is the wait time for Limiteds around a year now? Six months is about my max and I think all anyone should have to wait. What about basics? I know when I first started collecting your basic babes arrived in about 2 months. It's just a shame that even with less releases they can't get the dolls made faster for us. I know their company would do even better if they could up production time just a little

 

Not sure about Yellows, but my Limited Whites took almost exactly a year.

 

I am torn about getting one of the new releases from Doll Peddlar Really love Jia and Benny. Can someone tell me how long it will likely be before DP sells out? I noticed Lati is already sold out of the Full sets. I don't have any Yellows yet, and am trying to decide if I will like the size.

 

I looked for an answer using the search function and no luck. Can anyone tell me if the Lati Special Yellow and shorter Lati Yellow have the same size heads? Can you swap them from one size to the other? Thank you!

 

Yes, they use the same heads. You can use any Lati Yellow head on either size of body.

I was reading back this thread, I know I was offline for a while, but is it true lati is taking so much to restock their dolls? I am in shock!

 

I haven't visited DOA in a little while and have just caught up on the last few posts ....I'm in love with Foolish Monkey in the new limited Lati....

Sometimes I think I need to stay away from the internet!
