Lati Yellow Discussion Part 26

My friend seal it again with MSC after they arrived. You need to re gloss her lips, and you can change Lati's crappy original eyelashes (or you need to cover them before sealing the face). My last 4 Latis started to peel very badly, but I am sending them to Nomyens anyway...

Hmm, it doesn't sound too rough, but it's really too bad that this is necessary. I have MSC UV cut and some Tamiya gloss... guessing those will work (they're great on Blythe faceups). Has this primarily been a tan girl issue or is it all releases? I'm trying to decide on whether to give up on tan girls all together.

 

No, they generally have this 'Lati face up' problem. Almost all of my girls are tans, so don't give them up, love them! Collect them all! Haha

 

Hi, I never do anything to my girls, but I take really good care of them, never touch their face etc.

Never had this peeling experience, at least I never noticed that. I know people received dolls with this problem before but never happen to me so far.

Anyway, if you really like the face-up, it's a good idea to spray some MSC, though it's impossible to buy it here in my country (Brazil) because customs send them back when they find they're inflammable. To find a can of MSC here is difficult

My Snow White Wicked Queen Lea has finally arrived. She is missing the necklace (Edit: Lati send me one when I alerted them) and a mirror from the dress had fallen off (I glued it back on). I switched her full set eyes for Mako's that I had reserved for her. I like her, but her face-up is a little under whelming. I expected it to be more dramatic. Her tan skin is lovely, not too orangy.

Decided to share these pics for those who are curious about the Snow White release.

Here are two pics in daylight, which make her look more orange, but she is not. There is a shiny spot on one side, which I hope is shimmer powder and not msc that might flake xD:

Oh I hope it's not MSC They both have gorgeous face ups. There are more subtle differences, to see them together. Thank you for sharing!!

I asked the moderators about Orange line Cori, and they said, Cori is on topic on DoA, so I don't know what to do. Should I create a new thread to Cori, knowing that there is only 10 Cori in the world, or should I post her photos here? What do you think?

At Latidoll Corri is under Yellow, but the label on one of the pictures says "Orange." Only way I found it was to put in Cori in the search. So here would be fine. I've been wondering what the "Orange" line was for years. It's been their the 4-5 years I have been in the hobby.

 

Lati wrote information about Cori in 2015:

'This special event doll is one of [Orange Line] which is totally different new type doll Lati has secretly prepared to show you.
The newcomer’s name is “Cori”!!
Please check Cori’s best shots on the Lati’s website~
New dolls from Orange Line will be officially introduced Next year.
You won’t be disappointed~ XD!!'

But this was in 2015, so 2016 went by without this introduction obviously.

 

I can see we are chatting about the mysterious Cori but I just wanted to share my first Lati Yellow 'Happy'

I am so in love with my her, I can feel it in my bones that this will become my new obsession.

Thank you for sharing! I had seen Cori before and didn't know anything about her (except, I love her!) I hope that if Lati ever gets their act together, we will see more of her in the future!

 

I'm getting very disappointed with Lati lately, they only release dolls for events, dolls that are only possible to buy from secondary market at very high prices. Sometimes they release the dolls for one day, but if you don't look at their site everyday you might miss it. Well, maybe it's time to stop collecting, I have too many anyway...

 

I noticed the new Lati dolls, too. They are very cute, but it's hard to find the possible one-day ordering window and the one year wait is too much, too. I guess I have enough Lati dolls, too...

 

Hope Lati will solve problem with waiting time...

Hello everyone!
A couple of days I rescued a Lati yellow doll. She had a lot of damages and I had to take off her face up. Me and my friend thought that she might be a Lami at first, but I used to own a Coco many years ago and I'm now convinced she might be a Coco instead.
So basically, I need help from someone who can identify this sculpt. Help please?

 

My best guess is Ruki or Coco.

@kitsyfield Try it!! I think you won't regret it. I love Haru's sculpt but I always love it as a boy. I had him in normal skin (with this blonde wig) but he was dull near my tan sunny :_(

I'd him with this wig from For My Doll, but the wig's colour are different from the official photo, they're switched!! it's crazy how they change so much from one wig to another

 

Has anyone had a problem with For My Doll 5/6 wigs being too large...big enough to fit on a 6/7 head?

 

nope, usually it is vice versa, 5-6 size of FMD wig is rather small for a 6-7 size head.
We came to offer some crepes...

I find some of the 5/6 For My Doll wigs a bit large on my Luna but I think she has a smaller head hehe.

 

No, I have several 5-6 inch size For My Doll wigs but never had this problem. I only put a silicon cap under them, maybe that helps
