So, got 'enabled' in buying a Nana doll thing but mehh... Clothes/shoes kinda fit and gave my Lumi some punch

 

they fit so good! I wish I could find those dolls in store. Here is my S. Belle with her new secondhand sweater and hat.

Does anyone remember the Greek Mythology Haru (Dionysus)? I made mine a kimono and made a friend some kanzashi, so took pictures...forgot to post here though.

I wonder if there is a separate thread for Lati Greens. They have not been made for a very long time, so I suppose one could only find a second hand one nowadays. I have one. Lati Green grown up Coco that I have had since 2006.

 

Do you have a lati lime aswell? I would love to see those side by side kinda wonder if it's only the size difference or changes in sculpt aswell

 

I don't have a Lati lime. To me they look like they would out of proportion with other YO-SD sized dolls. I'm pretty sure all the Lati Limes are new sculpts.

 

Lati lime is bigger version of Lati Yellow and same proportion so reason why i bought them. I love lati yellow and its like Mini Me kind of look. Look diff. from Lati Green for sure.

 

When receiving my Lumi, the owner added a Lati Yellow event head (wink). It appears a 'normal skintone' somewhat 'peachy' imo. I was on the lookout for a body, but matching that skintone fellt very hard to achieve. Took the jump though
I bought a discounted Gem of Doll Darcy 1; she's about 17,5cm tall in normal pink. The posing is great, depending on the lightning the skintone comes to a close match though there still is a big difference.
So here is my hybrid ^^ (the darcy 1 head now needs a body and luts tiny delf miracly suits very nice) ^^

Benny is one of the 6 original Lati Yellow molds. Lati does not seem to be using the original molds very often nowadays (Tarzan is from 2017). I wonder if it is because of so many Chinese recasts or if they just think they can sell more if they keep making new molds.

 

So cute I love the Benny mold and had one long time ago. I also enjoy the new faces that lati produces and i have some favorite like Jenny, Mary, Emily and many more. I am glad lati keep producing new face mold this way i get to collect more lati.

 

I love the Benny mold!! I would love to have one but every time I find one they are on the old body type, I love new body way more

 

Eggie has a really old body, her body is single jointed - and she has the rare magnetic hands.

 

My Lea has magnetic hands too, i think she was the Pirate version (2010/2012?). Are those with an adapter? I thought you could use other type of hands too?

 

Eggie's body is a basic one from 2008. She has regular hands, too. Lati offered the magnetic hands only for a short period of time. I don't know what you mean by adapter, the hands attach to the hooked-on wrist parts with magnets, similar to the Fairyland dolls. I checked the Lati site, and it looks like the magnetic hands were an option with the pirate release which seems to be from 2010.

 

I think i saw somewhere that you can remove that 'hooked-on wrist' and use the default hands (non-magnetic). I can be wrong though, maybe only with that 2010 edition ^^ dunno, can't find the time to discover with my Lea. She came with extra hands (non-magnetic) but haven't tried/used them. :p

 

Yes, Eggie came with regular hands, too. They are not hard to change, the wrist part of the magnetic hands is attached with a tiny hook. Just unhook the magnetic wrist part and replace it with the regular hand part.

 

Any advice of bonding with a tiny? I recently bought an adorable lati Sunny, but my goodness, she is so small! O.O

 

So small? Lati Yellow or Lati White?
I adore the lati yellow size & body; i prefer them above the Luts tiny delf. Sunny is a pretty sculpt, plz share pictures with us :-)

Dear Vakarian, my advice is to figure out your doll's personality. I think once you do that, you can get to know her. The Lati Yellows are definitely smaller than the YoSd and it does take a while to get use to handling them.

My Lati Yellow Lea, called Lace, is very dainty but she is also a bit clumsy, in that she falls over easily. This is all part of her "personality." This helps me get to know who she is.

 

I think they are planning some mischief...

I think he needs a carriage to drive around and wave to people ;-)

These two are definitely planning some mischief. Mungojerrie is a Lati event head, I think he is winking Sunny (though I'm not quite sure).
