last/most recent doll purchase?

I saw an IOS Levi fullset (civvies version) on Mandarake for 80'000 JPY in fairly good condition. And right now, my currency is fairly strong in comparison to the JPY, sooooo...

Can't say I am a big fan of Attack on Titan, but I loved the sculpt (I actually read it after seeing the sculpt) and that irritated expression suited a character I wanted to shell.

 

I ordered several dolls from different companies through Alice's Collections, taking advantage of events. I expect long waits on those. I just picked up a purchase through the DOA marketplace yesterday. I have three old heads from Shinydoll that have very unique fae ears. One is smallish msd and the other 2 are SD size. I was excited to see the SD size Shinydoll body pop up. This is one of the companies no longer doing business. Now to see how well the resins will match. It's nice to catch what you want on secondhand market because the wait is very short.

 

Oh gosh, my last doll purchase was years ago, haha. I bought my Miyadoll LM Sweety during her limited release in Summer 2017. I only buy a doll if I really like it. I’m super picky!

I’m thinking about buying my 4th doll sometime in the near future, though. I’ve been eyeballing the Bunny Bunny Pudding for years now (that’s how long it takes me to decide lol), and I might finally take the plunge and buy her.

 

I purchased a LS Fox Xin Yue Hu fullset about a month and a half ago ^^ He will be my first male BJD, and also the first of the 1/3 size. I just have two smaller, 1/6 girls right now (one from Telesthesia and Dragon and another from Charm Doll that shipped but I’m still waiting on to arrive). So excited, but the waiting is hard, esp for this recent purchase T_T

 

I just found out that I got a promotion at work so I was able to buy some new dolls. I only meant to order 1, a KDF Diez from Luts but they other day I found a second hand Mini Dollfie Dream that I fell in love with. Now one doll became two. I’m really excited for both of them!

 

Working on a layaway for a special doll. Other than that most recent was a 2002 Volks Nana. Hoping to lock down one more girl in the meantime.

 

Dollpamm Seravie in january lol. Then with Covid I kinda stopped buying for a while, now I've bought mostly clothes and accessories.

 

I was fortunate to snag a secondhand Resinsoul Chun and an SD hybrid for under $300 which I dont think is too bad! I basically paid the price for Chun shipped and got a bonus doll

 

It's been over three years since I last purchased a doll, wow! But yesterday I bought a Maskcat Doll Juni fullset from a dealer that had her in stock and I am absolutely over the moon excited! She already shipped and I'm probably going to be hyperventilating all weekend while I wait for her to arrive!

 

I purchased a doll a week ago, an ALM Lilith. My first doll!

 

I was trying to do a no spend/buying thing this year but I recently bought some new wigs and some eyelashes for a couple of my dolls. Now I find myself browsing for an MSD head

I almost fainted when we went back to the listings and they both said "sold out" seriously. I will definitely be posting THE MOST pictures!

 

I just bought a Resinsoul Long head for a body I've been using for testing heads! I'm really excited for it to come. I think it'll be his permanent head - though he may still have to occasionally suffer the indignity of a test head, too. :P

 

My Soom Rick arrived today. It's the last doll I ordered in June. I don't have anything in mind right now. I'm all full up.

 

I just bought a luts tiny delf mytyl off yahoo Japan so she won’t be with me for a few weeks but I’m going to try and be good about not buying dolls for a while now.

A Narae 402 on the classic body. I had a Narae 404 on the new multi jointed body, and although I loved the aesthetic of the body, and the head sculpt, I couldn't get on with the mechanics of the body. I sold her, but really wanted that head sculpt on the classic body. I asked Bimong if he would be doing a re-release of the classic body, and although he said yes, I couldn't imagine him doing one soon. I put a WTB on the marketplace, but gave up on the idea. Then a few days ago, one came up on the marketplace with a 402 head. Even though it wasn't the 404, I could barely tell the difference! It was total fate, and I snatched her up right away. I am waiting on her to come from the US to the UK, so it might be a while, but wow!

 

My last BJD, specifically, would be a Dollmore Snow Vian. I would say DDS Kizuna Ai , but she doesn't count, technically.

 

Secondhand MNF Mirwen. I found the head and body separately and both were prices I just couldn’t pass up. Good thing tips have been so great at work lately!

 

That’s a pretty good price for Levi, I hope you were able to get him! I bought the rerelease last year and he finally arrived last week, IOS dolls are amazing

I purchased 2 sets of Eyeco eyes on September 4. I haven’t received them yet, but they’re coming by USPS first-class mail so I’ll give it a few more days before I start worrying.

Volks SD Midi Noa WS Limited. It's funny, I didn't care for the normal-skin standard Noa, but I liked the WS version. Maybe it had to do with the face-up?

 

My most recent purchase is actually a trade! I traded my Raccoon Doll Elf Camilla for a Minifee Eva. She should be here by the 29th so I'm really excited

Well, I really thought I was done with collecting…until…a couple of companies I’d never purchased from before released limited fullset dolls that were so perfect for my crew, I simply couldn’t resist them! It certainly came as a complete surprise to me, but I currently have a Gem of Dolls Hades and a Myou Macarena on order. I simply couldn’t miss out on the opportunity to bring them home.

 

I just bought a secondhand Si02 Liangyue from the marketplace. She arrived and I’m very happy to have gotten her. In fact I like her even more than when I first saw the sculpt. Plus getting the right wig made her so darn cute. Though finding/making her clothes will be a real challenge due to her odd size and body shape. Oh well, she’s worth it!

 

I ordered a Lillycat mini Ellana in marron glacé last Saturday.

 

I finally got around to ordering the last Spirit Doll sculpt that I want a few weeks ago... a Meng Po.

She's planned to be the resin version of my tabletop Mummy RPG character. Making her outfits is going to be great fun.

 

I recently ordered new hands for one of my oldest dolls. She's a now 8 year old DIM who's hands I've never really liked. Asleep Eidolon seemed to have the best match, but she's yellowed considerably so the new hands won't be the right color when I get them. Maybe I'll leave them somewhere sunny so they'll match better?

I'm also waiting on a Doll Leaves Laura from Alice's Collections and a tiny Shadow from Granado.

 

I bit the bullet and bought DDS Anastasia over the weekend. Dollyteria was having a sale and the savings were just too good to pass up. It knocked like $100 off the price!

 

Doll Leaves Steven. Branching out from SDs to MSDs. I'd been resisting the urge to get into the MSD size dolls for a while. My doll family has been SDs and a couple of YOSDs for a long time. I got a Doll In Mind Larina last year and she needed a boyfriend, so I found Steven on Alice Collections and could not resist that face.

 

My last doll purchase was a WooDolls Pandore Passion in blue form the maker. About two weeks ago. She was super spontaneous and love at first sight! I am so excited and eagerly awaiting her arrival

 

Crobidoll's Boni. I fell in love with her the moment I saw her, and I've been waiting for months for her to be back in stock. Finally, today it happened! I've been smiling the entire day!

 

Put a Ringdoll Sun Ce on layaway. Couldn't pass him up at $160.00 off. I am probably going to split him and buy a different body for the head while I use the body for another doll. The character I bought him for isn't that tall.

 

Ordered a Bluefairy Tiny Fairy Patrick earlier this month and just placed an order for a Crobidoll Yeon-Ho! Very excited for both to get home The BF Patrick in particular is a sculpt I've loved for a while, so after getting the money I was able to order him.

 

Does shipping from China count? Because it's cost $120 It was for my Spiritdoll Holly ordered in August, that just arrived to the 42agent warehouse yesterday!

Otherwise, I bought a mysterious Luts hybrid (seems it's the SDF summer '09 head + delf type 3 body) from Mandarake last week. I think it's my first impulse BJD purchase that I kind of already regret, I'm getting overwhelmed with all my half-finished dolls.

 

My last purchase was a QQ doll head!! I think she will be send in monday!

 

I impulse bought an in-stock Somni a few months ago. She's lovely and adorable and I'm glad I jumped to get her - I've had an eye on her since I first saw her in-progress pictures!

 

For my birthday I got a Rosen Lied Limited Sweet Kalanchoe. I'll have the set of both versions! Excited!

 

My most recent purchase was a Yummy Sweets Doll Anzu in chocolate skin with blue fire makeup which was...last month maybe? I've told myself no more dolls for now because I still have 2 heads that need faceups and bodies and my Resinsoul Mei needs a custom outfit. Plus Puff needs her own wig cap, but that's more an issue of laziness on my part.

 

Waiting on a Full Choice from Volks, she’s SDM sculpt #45, in tan and has been inspected and tracking has her in USPS hands now, she will not be home for the Sunday doll club Christmas party but will be home before Christmas. I better get busy making more clothes.

A Soulkid Crispin, found second-hand on here. She’s a bday gift from my mom! Still waiting for her to get here, but once she does and after I’ve checked her, I’ll be waiting another month to actually have her for real.

Prior to seeing her in the MP, I had clicked through every single page of every Soulkid discussion thread to look at pictures. I really really like Souldoll.

Crispin was one of my favourite sculpts that had been released during my hiatus years, so not only was it lucky that there was one in the MP, but I also love the way the prior owner styled her. She included the outfit, wig, eyes — it feels like I am getting a full set doll! She is perfect for the character I have in mind for her and I am super excited!

 

I just bought a full set orion 1/4 fox version from denver dolls in stock section a couple of weeks ago, so what better time to brag about it? Purchased because I wanted his outfit and couldn't find anywhere else to purchase it, and because I knew he would come very, very quickly, and I was tired of waiting... and now I will have two sculpts eventually (but only one fullset). At least I love the sculpt?

He's gorgeous and he's my avatar right now. I am still trying to figure out the best way to display him but he's stunning and everything I hoped and also a bit bigger than I thought!

 

My most recent doll purchase was/is the Dollfie Dream Sakura Miku 2.0 preorder. She hasn't arrived yet, of course, but I'm stoked to bring another Miku into my vinyl girl family (and also fiddle around with the 2.0 body in person!).

I'm hoping I'm done buying new dolls for the year and can instead focus on perfecting the dolls I already have and buying bodies for my floaters!

 

Doll-wise, Asai Lake Stardust SP / the body, I have it preordered and just made the final deposit for it, very excited.

Accessories wise, Volks USA had an outfit set I really liked that was sold out, but when I went back to bookmark it, it was completely deleted from the catalogue! By random I decided to look it up on the JP website and it was just re-released to my luck, so that's the most recent thing I have on the way!

 

My most recent doll related purchase was two wigs a couple months ago... My last doll purchase was made over a year ago. I think it was a low price body in the marketplace.

 

Just bought a Raccon Doll Cindy Elf on the weekend during on of their sales.

 

My last doll purchase was made a week ago - Spiritdoll Grace 65cm male body, for my last floating head. Spiritdoll seems to have a brisk turnaround time of a couple months. I'm keen to have this doll completed!

 

A Mystic Dolls Velkhana- I'll be getting her in person later this week, since the seller lives near my city. Really excited as I've never had a face-to-face doll handoff before! Her head and hands will be off to the faceup artist after that, but hopefully I'll have her home and finished before too much longer.

 

A DoDollsDream Lullaby Aurelia in Woodland Echo, I've always been wanting a miss of this colour and now it's a dream come true !

My most recent buy was a Luts Senior Delf Aru head I found right here in the marketplace. She turned out to be the perfect resolution for a new character that had been niggling at my brain, refusing to leave me alone all spring! She has that perfectly sweet and innocent old school vibe that was exactly what this character needed, and I already had a body that turned out to be perfect for the head so there was no increase in my overall numbers. I was inspired to give her a faceup immediately, and I’ve been happily sewing her a wardrobe ever since. Because of this single extraordinary marketplace find, It’s truly turned into a summer of fun for me!

 

My latest doll purchase was an OT vinyl doll, whose body is getting hybridded with a Supia Heeji head I’ve had forever! I can’t wait to unbox her on Sunday, and then see if I own clothes in her size!
