Large Doll Measurement Chart

I have been trying to complete one, just copying the format of the tinies spreadsheet. There are a LOT of blanks and there might be a few mistakes, and I'm pretty sure I'm missing some important dolls. Plus, I can't seem to find some sites at all. It took a long time to get all that information together! Any help with missing information would be great!

Thanks for pointing out the SD16 male! I went and edited it in. I actually went through that whole thread, I guess I must have missed it I can't find the SD17 though? Are they the same?

 

The numbers are the actual cm measurements and correspond with their LINE COLOR on the pic.

 

Thanks th1 =) But the measurements I have on the chart are the ones that are on the Limhwa site, so I think I will probably keep those, unless you know that the majority of Limhwa girls are different from those measurements. Let me know, and I'll change it =)

Maybe I'm missing it, but I don't see Dollzone 1/3 Girls on the spreadsheet.

Anyone out there have the equivalent measurements for the Soom Mecha Angel female as are illustrated for the LIMHWA 57 cm doll measurements...? I intend to purchase her and would like to start sewing for her before I receive her. Thanx in advance.

Although this is very helpful, there is one measurement which really needs altering ^_^

Dollshe heads are 8 inches, not 9.2 inches. ^^; Size 9 wigs are just too big!

 

Anybody knows the arm circumference and/or wrist circumference for Elfdoll gilrs (Sooah, pref, but any rather than nothing

 

Are we adding measurements to this chart? I just measured my Rainy Girl with the new body and the measurements slightly differ from Elfdoll's photo.

Head: 7.8-8in
Waist: 17.5cm
Hips: 25.5cm
Thigh: 14cm
Bust: 23cm

 

I was wondering if there was any reference chart for the height of the body parts? I want to make my own accessories for my dolls (atm specifically a toilet for when I get one), and I don't wanna make it too high, though for the width this was really helpful. Now I'm sure I can make one they won't fall into, I just need to make sure I get the hight right or they won't be able to sit on it. The one I'm making accessories for first is a luts ssd (which I also didn't see on the chart.) Thx a million.

Thanks for posting this up. It is Very useful to me, but I would love Leekeworld to have more information on the measurements of their L typ BJD bodies. Are they Larger than normal bodies?, I wonder because they are wearing 9-10 wigs and 18mm eyes! Wow!!! For a 61cm doll, that is a huge head on their shoulders! lol

 

Does anyone know if the measurements for the Elfdoll boys in the spreadsheet is for the new body type, or the old? I'd really like to get the right information, because I want to make some pants for my boy and he's not here yet.

I had to shut down my website (half-finished.com) because of financial issues. The new site is free, but I'm unsure of its limits.

 

Notdoll Lab doesn't list very detailed measurements for its dolls (and I'm terrible at taking measurements). My Ligaya Winter Eternity seems pretty small chested. Does 22cm sound like what one would describe as small or thin chested? I'm looking at a dress in the marketplace that the seller describes as being for a "thin chested 60cm doll". Thanks for any advice!!

Here's a small sampling of measurements from various doll manufacturers for some comparisons. All measurements are in CM and all measurements are for "chest" circumference for female dolls.

Abio Angel Female - 26cm (height 59.9cm)
Angel of Dream - 26cm (height 60cm)
Angel Region - 22.8cm (height 60cm)
CP (small bust) - 21.8cm (height 57cm)
CP (large bust) - 22.6cm (height 57cm)

I have a question about the Dollshe male chest measurement; is it really 16.5 cm? That seems really small to me, especially since the waist measurement is 22cm. Thanks in advance!

The chart is awesome! Actually helped me when I decided to get an Abio Angels "San". The only thing I question there is his chest which I measure at 24cm rather than 22 cm. I've seen it listed as 22 everywhere but it actually measures larger. I keep a copy by my computer in hopes that a money tree will sprout so I can order more dolls.....

This might not be the right place to ask this but here goes. On the chart I noticed a female B&G has a head of 9.4 inches what size wig would she need since most come in sizes like 7-8 or 9-10 and so forth. I really wanted to a have the wig I wanted for my doll waiting on her when she got here.

I'm very confused about Zaolls. They're 52cm, so are they SD13, SD16? I know they're not tall enough to be SD, and not short enough to be MSD, so how do you classify them?

 

will a ws migidoll miho head fit on a soom sg heliot cream white body?...will the colors match a little at least and does the miho head have to be modded to fit?...any info would be helpful

 

does anyone have peasurements for ringdoll. they have some on the website but none of the length of the arms.

I really need to know the length of the forearm on a teenager boy body. and maybe the length for the mechanical arm they also have which i assume would be the same length as the teenager boy body forearm.

luma- since the sizes are based in inches, size 9-10 is the one you want.

Also, I'd like to add that most people who have B&G dolls here on the gallery database put 18 to 20mm eyes in them. =^.^=

 

Thank you very, very much for this! It is somewhat difficult to find some measurements like the hand. I wanted to try to make a ball jointed hand and still have not found the "precise" measurements. If I had one to take apart, that would solve my problem for sure. I have made several hands but they end up too large once assembled. Have you ever seen a measurement for the hand from the base of the wrist to the fingertips? None of my dolls have hands that are flat and opened and I cannot bring myself to pay the $75.00 or more for them. Thank you once again!

This is a great thread! Since I am interested in designing clothes to sell for BJD this gives me info to describe which dolls will fit similar clothing. Thanks very helpful! I hope there is similar threads in the smaller sizes.

So I was thinking for my future dolls I want to have a father and daughter kind of deal. I don't want the daughter to be too small, but to look like pre-teen, teen, somewhere around there. Anyone have any doll sizing suggestions for both dolls so the difference shows?

 

Funny, I just took a pic of 2 of my dolls in matching costumes, the Mad Hatter. My thought is that a 60cm SD is almost perfect scale for an immature MSD. My guy is an AA San and his daughter is a Planetdoll Rosanne. Hope this helps.
