Meetup Lancaster, PA Outdoor ABJD Meet - 4/27/24

We had a nice little meet at Long's Park in Lancaster, Pennsylvania this morning. We were originally going to have it at noon, but we wanted to have the meet before the rain, so we had it in the morning. We all sat our dolls down in our chairs with our little props, and we talked about dolls and stuff. It was a very nice time. I wish we could've met for longer and that we had better weather. The meet did a lot to get the local community together, so maybe I'll be attending one of their meets in the future! Many thanks to @Kettle and @themonsteryoho from Den of Angels and Quincy and partner from the BJD Discord for coming out and making the meet a great one!

Thank you! It is a nice place. Unfortunately, it was a bit chilly and overcast. We were doing our best to have as much meet as we could before the rain came. It actually arrived later than we feared. I didn't see any rain until 11:45AM. I was already done having brunch at Waffle House and driving to The Doll Outlet by that time.

I'm sorry it didn't work out for you last week. Maybe next time! I'm also not local, but the locals were talking about communicating and getting a meet going in the future. I'll check it out at some point if they put it together. Otherwise, I get out to Lancaster two or three times a year. I'll start a post and see if there's some interest. I'll try to remember to at you, too!

 

I'm sorry you missed us! It would've been great if you could've joined us. Well, like I said to koushii, some stuff might be happening with the locals in the future. Keep an eye on the meetup section. Worst comes to worst, I'll put together another meet the next time I plan on getting out that way and at you so hopefully you'll see the alert and can join us.

I live in Central NJ, so I only get to Lancaster two or three times a year. I love going to the Waffle House and the Doll Outlet, though!
