    1. Hi! I haven't seen really any threads about LaLuna doll, so id like to ask anyone that has ordered, what your experience was! Specifically wait times?
      I myself am nearing month 13 for a Nirvana Priestess.

      (I didnt find anything that said laluna was off topic, so if they are, I apologize mods!)

    2. I understand that Nirvana Priestess was a 2022 release, and LaLuna Doll shipped her in January 2023. From their Weibo social media account: Here's the preorder announcement in August 2022, "tail payment" (balance payment) notice in January 2023, and completion of preorder notice a few weeks later. I can't confirm this, but as far as I can tell, LaLuna Doll has not reissued the fullset doll.

      If you ordered this fullset through a dealer, I would consult with them to find out what is going on. I do know someone (on the BJD Discord server) who ordered Nirvana Priestess through a certain dealer, and had trouble getting their doll delivered to them. I'm not sure when they placed their order, but they received their doll in the end, in November 2023.

      As for personal experiences,
      I ordered angel wings and earrings from LaLuna Doll during the original preorder in April 2024, directly from their Taobao store. This order went smoothly and timelines were well communicated on Weibo. I received my order in August 2024, after 4 months.

    3. There was a very limited re-release preorder through BJDivas in Feb 2024. I think it's mentioned in a post on their Instagram as well. It coincided with their release of the butterfly shoes and earrings. Only 3 each of fullsets were available, and that's who I ordered through. I've never had issue with any orders from bjdivas before.

      I have asked for some updates and been told more time is needed. I've figured since there is a lot of intricate items, the face up work, and the high end boxes Laluna provides, maybe something along the way has delayed progress... but from what you say, 4 months seems the norm, not 12+. *_*

    4. The buyer I mentioned above did order their Nirvana Priestess from BJDivas. LaLuna's Aug 2022 preorder announcement did say that the original fullset (outfit, jewellery, etc) was 20 units and no more. I don't know whether LaLuna had a special deal with BJDivas to release more Nirvana Priestesses, if they did they didn't disclose it on their Weibo account.

      I've never ordered from BJDivas, but I've heard they tend to be the last of the dealers to receive dolls from a preorder. I suppose it's fine if you're willing to wait, but I might press BJDivas to give a specific date on when they expect your doll to deliver.

    5. I gave them some more time until I eventually asked for a more specific expected timeline as suggested. I also asked again if there was an issue with production since I was told previously they expected it to arrive soon and then a few months past with no word.
      They expect them to come in this month and again no answer about production issues, so I guess I shall wait and see some more. I'll keep this thread updated just in case there are others who bought from this second release. :)
