All the dolls were gorgeous! I took some photos too, but after seeing everyone else's, I took all the same photos.

Yep, that's my boy.

I hadn't realized at the time that we were the first to have an omukae in the US. I don't think that I would have been as calm through it had I known.

EDIT: Oh, and #6 above is the girl I won. I'm soooo happy with her!

 

Mikey's School B girl (#15) is beautiful! So natural and pretty...did someone on DoA win her? I'd very much like to see more of her.
I also really like the first doll that Songblade posted...those two are definitely my favourites of these one-offs. Does anyone know what doll that is and who painted it? (I'm not terribly good with SD sculpts...old F-08? Aya?)

wow you had at least twice as many one-offs as we did at nyc, they are all so gorgeous! i'm glad i wasn't there too, i saw at least 2 i would have put a ticket in for!

Its a F-05 - it was one of my Favourite too

I really wanna know who got the MSD Schulze One Off. I kind of spaced out while they announced it. I hope it's a DoA Member who will post tons of Pictures of him because he is !

 

I'm so smitten with that Tohya! He has smoldering eyes. *fangirls* But still... sunlight FCS boys.... *DROOL*

 

Did they announce who won the Schulze? I was also waiting to hear who won him and the Maria, but I don't remember either of them being called. I must have spaced out too.

 

I'm also wondering who won the #7 Schulze, since he's my girl's twin.

I noticed that a few numbers were not called at all. I wonder if that means that no one entered for them.

 

That would be sad What will they do with those Dolls?

 

OMG your Toppi is adorable! You lucky thing! Who got the MSD F06, she is beautiful!

 

I got the one in the lavander dress, but it was tough to choose, because the one in the kimono was so beautiful too!

Lady Brick - I have a feeling that there were a number of dolls that only had one person enter for them as opposed to some of the really popular ones, like the Olivias and Liz. I think that it's lucky that we had our hearts set on the little girls and I'm so glad that we both won! Your Toppi is adorable!

 

Oh Kellyhime, she is so lovely! I have her twin sister with me at my house (the MSD F06 from the NY Tea). I didn't realize there was one in a kimono too! I know the little ones are less popular, lucky for us that we don't have as much competition! I had my heart set on mine the minute I laid eyes on her.

Seeing your girl is what convinced me that had to go to LA in the hope that there would be another beautiful F-06 like yours. I don't know if anyone else entered for her, but I still can't believe how lucky I was to win her!

OMG Who got the Charity Auction Madoka!!!! Out of all the AMAZING DOLLS she was the Star!!!! Does anyone have more pictures of that gorgeous girl??

Haha, neither did I! And then I saw him, and I was smitten XD I'm probably going to spam him all over DoA ;D

 

I'll be posting some of my photos later. I mostly took pics of the one-offs and some of the tan displays. I also have lots of pictures of random people's dolls as I spastically wandered around the tables XD My mom actually won the one-off snow Sweet Dreams Nana. She's sooo gorgeous!

 

Did anyone else notice that a lot of husbands/boyfriends/mothers won the one-offs? XD I half-expected my little sister's lotto ticket to win instead of mine, since she was my guest :'D

 

My mom didn't want to enter so she let me pick which ones to put our tickets in for and since she mentioned thinking that one was pretty I put her name on it lol She was SO surprised XD

The first Omukae conducted in the U.S.!!! And by Mr Shigeta himself!!!! Kelly is the lucky participant. A few tears were noticed in the audience afterwards!!!!!

Ya know... It's really a shame. Those elves were so wonderful, and appealing to me...

Until I saw how the ears were attached to the head.

Not directly molded on, rather attached by pegs. Total turn off.

*sigh* I guess after all the dolls I've seen with the ears as actually attached to the head via mold, I've become a bit picky. The gaps between the ears and sides of the face... Especially where hair from the wigs are gathering between the gaps...

It's just a shame. >.<

I think Volks has some of the most adorable optional ears and things..But they just look so bad when the hair isnt covering it. Not even remotely realistic >_< Meh..
