I just saw the new pictures. Hub-ba.

The website hasn't been updated since April as far as I can tell. The new pictures were only on flickr. Maybe that's his body Ludwig's head is on? Maybe? She hasn't answered questions about release dates on the flickr page, so who knows. Layaway or bust.

 

She put some photos in Instagram. The leaf for Ludwig's body (lol).

Maybe she will release it soon? The body seems finished. But with Julia you can't simply expect an exact date (insert meme here). The last thing I want to see is the body cut in half like she did with Ludwig's head years ago. Please god no

 

Sorry for the double post, but Miho from LLTdoll answered some questions about dates and layaway.

Okayyyyyy, so good news. I am a bit on the fence regarding the body. There aren't many pictures around. Has she got a Chinese 'blog' full of pictures somewhere?

EDIT: found it but I don't know any Chinese so if there were more pictures, I don't know how to access them.

 

LOL. Yeah, that was a punch in the gut. And that's a mighty big leaf {ba-dum-dum}

January 2016. I will be pleasantly surprised if that comes to pass. I am suspicious without seeing resin head on his full resin body. But whenever she does release him, I don't need him to be the best poseable guy. I love Iple House, and goodness knows those boys aren't known for uber-flexibility. Those resin muscles just stand there and look good.

 

He looks fantastic idrisfynn! I have his cousin, Blue Magpie on a DT elfbody also painted by Angeltoast & I love her dearly.

 

I adore Red Dove (and Blue Magpie) & Idrisflynn yours is so adorable! I can never get enough of him. My boy is on the Spiritdoll Elegance body also an excellent match and also painted by AngelToast...heehee

I'm fine with enjoying all the LLt boys here idrisfynn, unless others want to change the group. I only mentioned Aelienora when other folks posted their Magpie boys & Angeltoast faceups. I only have the one LLt sculpt for now tho Ludwig will be tempting when he's available. It is fun watching how folks adapt their LLt heads here.

 

@idrisfynn thank you so much! I have a weakness for big wild hair on my boys. Still looking for the right wig for him but it convey's his precocious vibe.

And I'd be fine also if all the LLt sculpt discussions were in one place. I love all of the sculpts to be honest. I was just a little hesitant to share my Red Dove though since most of the general chatter is about the other boys. So I'm happy to see more of the Doves and Magpies around. They are such sweet sculpts.

 

With LLT's level of output, I think we can handle one thread for the company.

 

I'd like one thread for both girls and boys as well. I like to see the same sculpt handled differently within a few posts instead of running back and forth. Hoping to get a Red Dove at some point.

I love him, I think he might be my favorite of the LLT sculpts. Such bold contours, especially his nose and lips.

 

Oh, I saw him a few days ago. I really like him. Maybe even more than Ludwig.

 

Somehow, Ahaz actually reminds me more of the early Ludwig in-progress pictures than the finished Ludwig does. The final Ludwig came out much softer with more rounded features than the earlier versions, in my opinion.

 

I liked Ahaz more than Ludwig, but didn't think he'd be ready anytime soon. Since I can't currently afford Ludwig, maybe I'll wait some more and see about Ahaz after all.

 

He's gorgeous!

 

I love the LLT sculpts and Ahaz looks really good. I'd love to see more pics of him and with faceup.

 

Agree that Ahaz now looks more like Ludwig than Ludwig does.

And we first saw Ahaz in 2013, with a proposed 2014 release. So, yes. Not holding my breath on that one.

 

At least heads do actually get released on an annual basis. I just hope he's still intended for other bodies; as I've had one waiting for him for several years now.

 

We'll see. At the time, she was insisting Ludwig going forward were at least mean to fit on the new body. Remember that Black Pearl sculpt? Hoped he would be released as a head, but she also wanted to release him as a full doll.

Ahaz still looks like the early sculpt, but he certainly calls back to the "I could cut myself on those cheekbones" version of Ludwig. Maybe that's why she made the changes? To make them more distinct.

@mdonline03 He's on the old Dollstown 15yrs in pale tan (the head was slightly lighter, so the faceup artist I commissioned sprayed it to match the body). The wig is angora, by eclipse21.

I got an email from LLT that they are going to release Ludwig sometimes in July.
His body looks gorgeous!

This is my Lazuli taken last December and need to take new footage soon.

 

Any mention of the new website address? I am so ready to pounce on that order button!

 

Her flicker says Ludwig is ready but if I pass up another limited doll to wait for him will it be weeks or months? Those of you who have waited for 4 years are probably snickering at me now.

I can't believe that these dolls are here. I am thinking of getting Ludwig, and maybe Ahaz's head. So exciting to see that these boys are finally done. The body is absolutely stunning.

 

That's my plan too! I just have to decide between Normal and Real skin. I think I need Real Skin. I don't have any tanned dolls at all and I think he's my best excuse to have one.

 

Pre-order Ahaz in light tan skin - check.

Passed on the Ludwig head (that is, ordering Ludwig with an Ahaz head). He still is awesome but he just doesn't have "it" anymore imho. But Ahaz got exactly what it takes to turn him into a Medjai. YAY!!!

 

Time to start comparing measurements to find out what he can wear!

ETA: Looks like he's a taller iplehouse EID Super Hero. YIKES!

After all these years of anticipation, I also am bowing out. That body is beautiful. Julia has done an incredible job. However, I am scaling down with my dolls, rather than scaling up. I hope she does well with these two and that we see more heads to go with this body.

 

So pretty but I don't know if/when I can get him.....

 

Lovely job on both Ludwig and Ahaz, and i enjoyed the vid. I've already purchased a LLT Lazuli head however, he grows on me so much i can hardly wait. Something tells me that the LLT body doesn't fit Lazuli head, right? I think right. I wonder what body he haz on Julia's photos. Seems like one of Ringdoll's, probably. I wish Dollstown released there 17 year male body soon ish. I wish it would match Lazuli head. I gotta try the head on the bodies I already have, first. Anticipation.

 

@noirobscur The body Julia sculpted has a 14cm neck, so none of the earlier heads will fit. Dollstown 17 is a nice choice though!

 

I put my order in for Ludwig with face up and body brush and praying hands in real skin. Wow!
He is the ultimate in Germanic aryan archetype. Will need to make him some lederhosen and make him sing edelweiss.
He will be the most expensive doll I have ever bought but hopefully we'll worth it. Ahaz will have to wait as floating heads don't do well with me.

Just saw the love body and sculpts that came out. Can I say that Ahaz reminds me so much of the Engineer from Prometheus....?

Anyways...people scrambling madly for clothes:
*llt body can wear tops made for EID hero body
They have same shoulder lengths at 19cm and almost same chest circumference at llt 38cm/ eid-h 37.8cm
*Shoe-wise.... llt 10.5cm/ eid-h 10.2 ....no guarantees there coz a 0.1cm can make all the difference in the world...maybe ask someone who has iplehouse eid shoes to try them on first before getting any.
*Pants...they have same size hip and waist as the eid-model but their legs are wider...like the Soom Idealian. I've had idealians wear eid-h sized pants no worries but not fitting into eid-m pants....BUT...they most likely have longer legs? I'm not sure where the extra length comes from so maybe wait for someone to jump in first.

Just wondering does anyone know LLT's special real skin (Ahaz/Ludwig) is darker or blighter than Iplehouse's special real skin?
I'm not going to make a hybrid, only need to know that for my character settings.

@Clementia - no one has the new LLT's special real skin coz it just came out. You'll have to wait for someone to get it to compare....or be brave and jump in first. LOL
