I was really interested in this hybrid too and I'm really happy the match is almost flawless, but I was wondering.. isn't the neck too thin for the hole? Does the head bobble or stay in place?

 

Amazing work Ashbet I really liked the details in silver, if you can post when she's ready, I was curious...

I ordered Little Edria in ws few days ago so I guess I can join here now.

 

It's been almost two years since I got my WS Edria head. I still don't know which body to get for her. I know for sure she does not match any of Iple, Soom, Dollshe, Supia, Spiritdoll resins. My original plan was popodoll WS but I need to see more pics to confirm that. Given she's environmental resin I asked Impldoll for a WS sample. What a disappointment to know that Impldoll WS is paper white. I can't believe this head is so difficult to find a body for... I really want to see her in one piece one day.

Carmen, I'm sorry to hear that you're having so much resin-matching trouble (I'm surprised about Supia!) . . . Dream of Doll at least used to have a very pink-based white, and Musedoll has Rose White, but I don't know whether those bodies are to your taste.

Supia does not work. She's too short and the neck is too thin (I would like my Edria to be at least 65cm tall). I'm really against bobble head dolls. So any company that does not offer a body that is at least 65cm won't work for me either =_= Thanks for your suggestion though.

 

Ashbet: Thanks! I ordered April Story senior girl body in ws last month and decided to try Little Edria for the head after I saw chazzis pictures of her Little Edria. The proportions seems pretty nice, but now I'm just a bit scared about the resin match. Hopefully it'll be ok... April story white is supposed to be similar to volks white.

 

I will be very interested in seeing how your April Story ws body works out for your little edria and what you think of it. I have been seriously been considering it, but really wanted to see how the LLT edria head works with it first before shelling out the bucks. I currently have my little edria head on a DT elf body in fresh skin and I think she looks fine and love the body, but my character warrants a more mature body.

Did you order the small or large bust option?

Luckyl: I actually ordered the smallest and the largest bust, they were ok with selling an extra torso piece so I can decide which one I want to use after seeing both live. The discount was so nice anyway that an extra torso didn't cost me much. I still can't decide which one I want to use, I kind of maybe like the smallest bust the most and since my girl will be wearing a lot of morigirl clothes, the small bust would probably look the best with those clothes... But the large bust looks so nice too and some kind of clothes look much better with fuller bust..! I'll take comparison pics of them side to side and with the head too so if the colour match is ok, maybe it'll help others to decide.

I'm used to really small headed SD's (Supias) so I'm afraid that the Little Edria head is too big for my taste on the body, but I'll just have to wait and see...

 

I have recently received Edria, too, so I would like to join in. She is in normal skin tone. When she arrived I took a few photos of her on a Soom SuperGem body which is not an exact match in colour but is excellent in proportion. I have since received a Dollstown 18 years body in Oriental tone and it matches her perfectly (I love the proportions, too).

Here is my Edria just after her arrival (she is away for a face-up now).

I ordered two Edria's heads in early December.


Edria was my dream. I couldn't order this head for a long time for some reasons and just admired on other dolls. I showed Edria's head to my friend, and she fell in love with Edria too. We barely waited until it will be possible to order heads. And so I bought them.


I was patient and never disturb the seller. Almost 2 weeks ago I decided to ask the seller about my heads. But I didn't receive any answer. I wrote again. And I didn't receive any response again. It has been over 60 days. I have no heads, I have no response from the seller, and I can't refund my money. It's so pity that my dream about Edria has broken.

 

I'm sorry to hear this. I had the same experience when I ordered an Edria head last year straight from the website (you can probably read my posts about it a few pages back), and after over 2 months of waiting and sending emails inquiring about the order and getting no answers, and seeing other buyers have their orders mailed to them within a week, I was forced to take action.

I had paid using credit card on Paypal, but since it was over the 45 day limit, Paypal could do nothing. So I called my credit card company and got my money back that way. Hope you'll find some way to get your money back.

 

Carmen - though it may not be to everyone's tase, the Dikadoll "Normal White" is a perfect match with WS Edria. Dikadoll also has a "white" which is too white. Also, Dollstown Freshskin is a pretty close color match to white skin Edria.

I didn't get any kind of confirmation either, so in the end I made a paypal claim until the time ran out and got a refund from the Little Edria head... They answered almost instantly to the claim and refunded me with no problems and even apologized for the delay. It seems there's a lot of holidays in China around these times, but they really should keep people better informed...

I got email from LLT company 6 days ago after my message here They wrote about long CNY holidays and that they couldn't find my transaction I've sent them transaction ID. And silence again

Finally I got my Little Edria(which is the 1st release like Dio) and I get the face up slot from the artist who paint Dio's!!! That's the most exciting things I heard in this year XDDDD Can't wait to see what will he became!

I think little edria still can't fit 16mm eyes TmT 14mm looks better to me, maybe I should try 15mm.About wigs,I can't believe that Little Edria's head is smaller than Edria(okay,it's just, a bit) but that makes my little edria can wear leeke M size wig(7-8 inch)
I really need more head cap for my doll crew...

Yes, I ordered 3,5 month ago directly from the company. May be it's not enough time to make heads but, I think, it's enough time to reply me about my order. Do you have Julia's email? Can you PM it to me? Because I had conversation with Miho from their official email. But it seems that he's not going to reply me or ship me heads

 

I'm wanting to order Roderich, but I'm a little lost on the ordering process. I looked on the thread about ordering from them and it mentioned an order form. I haven't found an order from on the LLDT webpage; when I go to order, it goes straight to Paypal. Could someone tell me how to go about it so I don't lose $180? Also, Jerryama is an agent on eBay, would that be a better option?

 

byke stegosaurs,you have to add head and shipping to a cart, then proceed to checkout as usual. Yes, after checkout you will go to Paypal.

My friend bought her head from Jerryama and already received it. LLT had some problems with Paypal transactions so to buy from Jerryama will be really better option, imho.


About my situation - Miho found my payment few days ago. Hope I'll receive my heads soon. Thanks to nungmyo who passed my transaction ID to Julia. Julia asked her manager to check the transaction. And Miho finally turned attention to me

A few days ago I received my Edria heads.


There was a technical problem with Paypal. First time it was on my side, then it was on LLT side. I sent money but LLT didn't see them. Then the technical problem was solved, LLT received my money and my heads were shipped.


I have to say that Edria is awesome even without face up! I wish LLT that they would never again suffer from such technical problems, I also wish them new sculpts and new customers.

Hi everyone! I have an OE Edria boy, and a couple questions for the thread

1. Is this thread for Edria girls only? I've really enjoyed looking at all of your gorgeous, startlingly different ladies, either way!
2. Do Mako 12mms look gappy in the OE head? By any chance, does anyone have comparison photos of 12mm and 14mm Mako eyes in an OE Edria?

I think Mako 12mms would be too small -- I'd go for 14mm. My open-eyed Edria and Vampire Edria both wear glass eyes (I think they're both from IpleHouse) that are supposedly 12mm, but are too large for my dolls that wear 12mm Makos. They're closer to 14mm in terms of urethane iris sizes.

One solution might be to get custom eyes -- I just bought a pair from CandyKitten on Etsy in 14mm with a 12mm-scaled iris, made for my SA Hound's long narrow eyes.

He looks great with 12mm eyes, but they would always gap at the sides. The 14mm eye size with the 12mm-scale iris is perfect!

I have an OE Edria boy you can find his pic if you look few page back from this thread, I let him wear 14mm Japanese glass eyes(actually it's 13mm I think).
It suit him the best but I can make a try on mako 14mm later and take photo for you request^^

 

Yeah, that’s what I was thinking, but I was worried that it could get really expensive. I could always just ask Mako and see what they say! I love the scale of 12mms, but I think you’re right about the size of the entire eye - it’s gotta be bigger! I’m glad to hear that the 12mm scale in a 14mm setting fits right - I just peeked at your SA Hound photos and I agree, I love the 12mm scale eye but it is gappy.

In my option Spirit doll proud body is a bit too strong for little Edria(its head is slightly smaller than Edria, also the neck hole), and the skin color doesn't match well



there's my Edria on proud body, I didn't mod the neck, as Edria is a kind of small head so you may see the heck hole in some angle, and the neck is a bit long.
in the pic color difference is fine but in fact the body is much yellower and spirit doll's resin yellow quicker than LLT.......So I sold this body and turn to Switch body at the end.



I tried LUTS SSDF(its neck is quit long and can't stand well when compared with spirit doll proud body, out)SDF ver 2 body(its shoulder is too short to me and can't stands well too ,out )Spirit doll proud body and switch HD65 body, overall I think switch body is the best.(If spirit doll can improve their resin quality,it would be the no.1)
