I'm trying to get out of MSDs but Volks keeps pulling me back with those cute SDCs! Hansel and Gretal are adorable. I love how the SDCs pose.... And Yos ... it's so hard to say no to a Nono! Now waiting to hear if this SD17 boy exists or not ...

 

Hm so is it just the sdc that are being released? Minus the dds.

 

Kiren That is interesting and I was wondering since there were no cellphone pics. I guess we just have to wait and see! I hope scans show up sometime tomorrow (they will probably be shipping guides out later today in Japan (since it is already the 12th there), but I am not sure how long they take to arrive or if you can buy them or the news in stores).

Only two SDs at a Dolpa? That's crazy! They always have at least four, right? Maybe the fact that many limited SDs haven't been selling well has cut down on what Volks will produce. Or maybe it's all the Tenshi they're making for the Sato event. I sure hope it's the latter.

I think I'm safe. I already have a beautiful Yo that is both white skin and a Tenshi and I adore her to pieces. Gretel is really cute but the last SDC I tried didn't stay with me very long ^^;.

 

Yeah. They have a separate piece for their knees and their elbows, so 3 pieces to there system and swivel thighs (trying to remember ...). Plus they have a 3 piece torso.

No problem. They can do all sorts of awesome poses like sitting cross legged, etc ... yes. They do have swivel thigh tops, I checked. I have an SDC kurt and he's just the most awesome little guy. I sprung for the sueding service which was worth it to me as it really helps hold poses.

 

Hansel looks a lot like Ryu! Absolutely adorable. Of course he's still blurry in the little pix, can't wait to see more.

The two Cutes make a great pair of lost wandering kids. I love what I can see of the outfit, too... I've been curious to see how Volks would translate "poor" into something fashionable. (Barefoot in rags, just wouldn't make for a good fullset. ^^)

Aww, nothing but nasty rumors! ;;__ So it goes.

SDCs are taller (44cm), and broader-shouldered & longer-limbed, with slimmer waists. They can wear most Volks MSD clothes, but if you buy fitted MSD clothes from other companies they might be too short/tight. But, yes, it's generally close enough.

 

May I know if Yo-SD can do the same too >.<?
Or do their body have the 3 parts too?.....@_@

 

YoSD's are single jointed. They do have the suwarriko legs and can sit cute style because of it.

 

OMG, a white skin Kira. I want so bad. I just got a Little Alice. It is always that way soon as you get a doll another one you want comes out. I am safe from everyone (at least everyone who it seems) except that white skin Kira. Maybe she will be released in a few months to Volks USA, may is Mothers day? Maybe I can work and angle LOL I need her what can I say

Yup, looks like some of them didn't exist. But Hansel and Gretel do, and they're really cute! Gretel looks like a cross between Elena and Daria to me. Ack, Hansel has a bit of Mark in him . . . that's dangerous! And I love his outfit. Pretty charming DD and MDD as well.

 

Yep, they were posted a couple pages back , but several dolls were "missing" lol. Who knows what we will get! I hope we get more pics soon!

 

It's on August 7th. Isn't that Tanabata in Sendai? Which seems actually a little crazy to do a Dolpa then, with everyone flooding in Sendai . . .

I'm guessing the WS Yo Kira will only be available to onsite attendees like Alice last year. But I want her SO BAD!

Hi Cammy!!! I really hope there is SwD Nono Yo...did you see there is a possibly a Sato YoTenshi Nono?! I am on edge wondering who is actually being released!

 

I change my mind on Nono if she is SwD I don't like dolls with closed eyes.

But now I am confused as to what is actually coming out for HTD 8. I guess it will be a little bit before the cinfusion dies down.

 

Definately won't decide on getting excited on anything until stuff is confirmed. XD

 

Posters have already said that the SD17 boy, Mimi, and SwD Nono were just rumours and have not been posted to the cell phone site. There are no pictures of them up and there are now the full set of cell phone pics for the 2 SDC and the DD's.

So, no SD17 boy, Yo Mimi, or Yo SwD Nono.

 

Ahh.. Sadly (and not) I think I am pretty safe. Gretel is very cute, but too serious looking for my taste. YoSD Syo is a tad tempting, but his price because he is a tenshi and has a fullset is too much out of my budget >_<

Hopefully I can continue to go through ungrabbed by these dolls this time, once more photos are released!

Hi Nabee!!! Squeee!!! YoTenshi Nono would be sooo cute!!! But.. is it just a rumor that a YoSD Nono Sweet Dream is being released? I haven't seen any pictures, and if it turns out not to be true or she's super limited, I think I'll just die!!

 

Arrrrgh! I've wanted SDCs for ages now...and all my money is gone! Honestly! I could tie myself to a train track right about now.

Now I'm sad. I've always dreamed about them releasing a tiny Sweet Dream Nono. I was so excited that it might finally come true! Hopefully they'll release her in the future, but right now I'm so disappointed.

&#8251; The details of the event limited edition Bokusunyusu Vol.42 (will be released February 2011) will be introduced.

 

All of the dolls have been announced. There are 3 events happening that weekend.

There's the Sato anniversary event which works like a really small Dolpa, in a way, where everyone has to draw lottery numbers and may not get a doll. It looks like the 3 tenshi released for that are tenshi versions of Kira, Syo, and Nono.

There is a Sato dinner event, which is where the white skinned Kira tenshi is being released. They are calling her Una, it looks like. White skin Yuh was previously released at a Sato dinner event and that release acted like a preorder where everyone who went was able to preorder him. I do not know if this event will work the same, but it prob will. These dinners are always lotteries to get an invitation.

And then there is the actual Dolpa itself, with the SDC and DD's.

 

Well, the cellphone site doesn't have all the pictures either, so I'm just saying I won't get excited until everything is confirmed by the actual company. XD Anything is possible. They might just suprise us. They are Volks after all...

 

The cell phone site does always show at least one shot of all of the dolls that are going to be available at a Dolpa, usually two to show a face close up and a body shot. If there were other dolls posted, they would have been shared already. To my knowledge, they have never purposely not revealed a doll on the cell phone site.

And the picture on the Volks site of the tenshi is Tsubaki and the statue of Mother SD, Volks statue of the Virgin Mary they've re-purposed. She's always surrounded by various tenshi that they change around as they redo the displays.

 

This is exactly how I feel!!!! I can't take another SD17!!!SDC I can barely handle. I have to come up with money for Soom Ender, and Reisner still

 

I'm not saying that they aren't showing it on purpose. I'm saying since there are three events, not all the pictures were released in the book. There was a picture a few pages back of Yos I haven't seen on there and she doesn't have the tenshi on there either. So Volks probably chose not to put that in the guidebook.

 

I would love the white skin yo kira but thats it... I was really looking forward to another SD or SD17, however the SDC are really cute Guess I'll be looking forward to the outfits then this time around.

 

Book? The guidebook's not out yet. It goes on sale in a few hours Japan time. Nor would anybody have Volks News yet, it only being about 4am Saturday there.

But I don't see any sudden releases. One tenshi for the Dolpa Eve event is pretty standard. Three is plentiful for an anniversary event.

About the only releases to find out about now are clothes/shoes, and however many One-offs will actually be announced to the public. And of course more pictures when somebody gets hold of a Volks News .

 

I'm "totally" with you on that one Kim.

As it is I think I'm safe from pinning over something I can't currently afford. Means I can continue to save for the next Dolpa.

 

Those Sato events are incredibly packed with people (but very well organized)! I'm sure for such cute YoTenshis that there will be many, many people that show up trying to get a shot at one of them and my guess is that they will sell out before everyone gets in the door. I went to the Angels Descending Autumn back in Oct. 2010 and it was packed. I stood in the rain for about 4 hours before I got in the door. There were over 2,000 people that day. I bet for this one, there will be more. It's a long day! Hopefully the weather will be nice for all those who go. Good luck to everyone trying for a doll!

If there are no larger dolls to be had, then I love "safe dolpas."

I really wish Volks would work more with their mohair wigs, since Hansel has a serious case of "helmet hair." Gretel looks amazing in terms of outfit and wig, but I'll have to wait for better photos of her head/face. And the DD Beatrice looks so spectacular that I'm very tempted by her. Her outfits are amazing!

I've been really wanting another SDC boy and am set on Toki but we'll see if I'll add Hansel to the wishlist

I can't wait to see more pictures of the tenshi I'm wondering if she has jointed pink wings from the fuzzy photo I can't fully tell other than it's seems to be pinkish wings. On the poster photo it Looks like Kira and Syo both have wings and Nono I can't tell.

I'm kinda liking Gretel feels so not safe this event so far.

I thought it was the x-short wave wig in "Copper". I have that for my SDCs, and it's crinkly-cute IRL.

Hansel's hair isn't showing up too flatteringly in this blurry little pic though, that's for sure. But then again, y'know, the kid is starving & has just been exiled into the Black Forest to fend for himself and his sister.... give him a break if he hasn't had time to fuss over his hair. xD

Am pretty sure, but I can't truly declare this a "safe dolpa" until I see real pictures of Hansel! He's really cute when blurry & washed-out, which means he could be very dangerous when well-rendered.

Volks released SDC Kurt with a fur/mohair wig, so I suspect that Hansel's wig is the same. I have that same SDC wig that you linked in cream, and it's so much better with the flairs at the end. Poor starving Hansel probably uses bowls to cut his hair, which explains the helmet hair ...or all their allowance goes to Gretel's hairstylist. XP

I think I'm safe with sticking to my "one SDC/MSD boy rule" but Gretel is a temptation, especially with those boots and hair!

I really like both Hansel and Gretel. I'm sitting here scheming on whether I could manage getting a Hansel so I can switch out my MNF boy's body, which is driving me MAD, I tell you.

 

Whew, safe this time around for dolls! DD Beatrice has a really charming mold though, so I'm happy to see they're again going with a different look for their DDs. Her default dress is stunning. Though I hope that second short skirt outfit is going to be a separate lottery outfit--that might be one I'd have to enter for.

Hansel and Gretel are a lot cuter than I thought they were going to be. Gretel has a lot of personality and, wait for it....she'd make a really cute boy.

I definitely spy a couple of outfits I want. That little goth SDC booty shorts number calls to me.

 

White skin Una is UBER tempting. Outfits this round are also gorgeous. Volks always find a way to hit people hard.

 

That + boots. Must have.


Hansel is adorable but I'm not sure if he's setting off my 'gotta bring him home' radar... yet :S
