And hurray for tax returns - what a convenient time for Dolpa...I think...it's killing me!

 

Yo Luna the though alone is driving me over the moon think of the cuteness overload that would be not to menchion how fast the little buggers would go at the Dolpa alone.

 

Anyone has links to any cellphone pics or scans of the guidebook? Its killing me to know what dolls will be released.

 

I do not think the guide book is being shipped until Feb 12th. We are still waiting on cellphone pics to show up, I am hoping they will in the next couple of days.

 

Is it possible to buy the guidebook? Where would one find it online?

 

There are several links in the first post that direct you where to buy it (you would want the first option unless you were planning on attending the dolpa in person). The guidebook acts as a "ticket" to the dolpa, hence why one option allows you to order it with a lunch ticket option. It is available in Japanese only. You can order one, but typically by the time it arrives in the US all the pictures have been scanned and put up on DoA or online somewhere already.

EDIT: Wanted to add that while the guidebook is not very expensive, shipping from Japan can seem a little high. I would look at older dolpa threads and look for scans of the guidebook from previous dolpas to see if you would like one or not. ^_^

 

The blog says Volks News should start arriving on Saturday to members, so going by previous Dolpas, I'd guess cell pics should go up on Friday.

Volks News would be a better bet than the guidebook if you just want pictures. Most of the guidebook is lists of dealers, rules, and the like. But scans of both are going to hit the net soon anyways.

I just got me a tenshi, so I really would love to go through the excitement I went through when I got my Rabbit, but then again, AH.

But I don't see how they're going to get preview pics out before News if News starts arriving at people's doors on Saturday, so I wonder if they're forgoing cell pics this time? O_O

Thank you timid!!! So it seems we will have SDC (or MSD) and YOSD in this dollpa. And also a handsome SD17 boy! Many people will be so happy (well, their wallet won't for sure!)

And in the other hand we will have a massive tenshification of 4 previous YOSD... I am sure the white shin Kira will be so popullar she will dissapear in seconds!

But there's as much excitement about the Kobe and Sendai Dolpas that were apparently announced for the summer as for the LEs . Sendai . . . Sengoku jidai-ppoi jan . . .

I think the pics we're getting are probably from posters/announcements on the cruise. That's why stuff seems muddled a bit.

I think that the Yo-tenshi may be for Tenshi no Sato aniversary.

 

I believe Shou & co are for the anniversary event.
Kira and Una are for the Dolpa eve event.
Everybody else is for HT Dolpa itself.

Both. The news has come out for three different events at once, and to be honest none of is really confirmed. But it looks like the Dolpa Nono will be the SwD. Tenshi Nono will be available at the Tenshi no Sato 7 year anniversary event.

Is SDC the same size as MSD. Would SDC be able to wear clothes specified for an MSD? Also, What is HT Dolpa?

And while I want a 4 sister's YoSD and it's great that they're releasing the headmold again so picking one up on Y!J will be a lot easier(and cheaper!), the real winner of this Dolpa for me is Beatrice. Argh, why are the Dollfie Dreams so awesome anymore?

The MDD is Kudryavka Noumi from Little Busters!, the latest Key visual novel. And Beatrice, of course, is from Umineko.

 

Oh how exciting! I cannot wait to see clearer pictures of the minis (SDCs) I have really been wanting a new Yo, but what I want seems to be Sato only. I wonder who else will be in store for us? How exciting!

If I am reading things right, it looks like she is going to be the doll for the special Sato dinner event the night before the Dolpa, much like how the white skin Yuh was released a few years ago. Which, if she's released like that Yuh, will be a preorder everyone who wins an invite to the dinner can get.

SDC are Volks' version of a slim mini. They are around the same height as an MSD, but have adult proportions like a Unoa. MSD clothes will go on them, but they won't necessarily fit well. And HT Dolpa stands for Hometown Dolpa, which is what they call the Dolpas that are held in various locations around Japan during the summer and spring.

Wow, the new SDC girl is very pretty. I wasn't expecting such a lovely! I think I'm starting to fall for SDCs ever since they released Sora, they just keep making more very cute girls in that size. I'm so glad to know that now a friend of mine can have her dream doll! She has been dreaming of a white skin Yo Kira for two or three years, now one finally exists! We'll both definitely be watching Y!JP for a while lol. I really want to see this new Yo 'Una' as well, I wonder if it is a boy or girl?

Thankfully though, it looks like I am safe for now. Unless Una is to die for... Or they have some really, really precious outfits released. We're not out of the woods yet!

 

I can't wait to see pictures of the SD17 boy (Arthur is what I'm betting his name turns out to be).

There generally is an after event a few weeks after the Dolpa. The guidebook will prob have the dates for it.
