Kyoto Dolpa 6 (March 22, 2009)

Ahh, they're very cute, but not my style. I don't have need of a baby elf, thank goodness! I agree, they do look a LOT like Irvin/Kaelin.

I'm wondering if they're possibly white skin. They look really pale in those pics (especially Colin), but of course cell phone pics can be deceiving. I keep hoping Volks will make more white-skin YoSDs so I might actually have a chance of getting optional hands for my White Yuh!

YO is a disease and I suffer greatly from it. I am really at a lost now I was going to Kaelin, now I want Colin too....

 

Alright, I'm kinda safe from this Dolpa, yay for me! Only Irvin is tempting me, I have liked him since he was released. But no money for this Dolpa, so Irvin will remain in my wishlist XD

 

I wonder if Volks has put much more effort in dollfie dream than in super dollfie this time.

Yes ! Yes, White skin YoSD would be wonderful ! The new Yos kind of look like the Yo tenshi Yayoi.

I like the yo's! They seem sneaky and suspicious! I love it!

 

So far I really like these Yos. I'm was leaning more toward the boy one at first glance (and I usually only like girls!) but the girl Yo has such a peaceful, elfin look... I am looking forward to more pics

 

I Yos! I elves! I Volks! Oh my oh my! I might just have to try the lottery for one of these cuties! I really want a F01 though, so I am a bit torn as who to go for...hmm...I have a little while to decide. I will wait for more pictures to come out and decide then. ^_^

I'm not seeing elf ears on the yo's. Volks likes to give its doll big old ears sometimes. My poor Bianka's ears stick out so much they make her wigs sit funny.

I can't wait for more pictures to be released. I like the new face in Colin's pic but hate it in Remi's. If he stays consistently that put out looking, I think I may need Colin.

 

I agree Kim, I didnt see an elf ear but perhaps its hidden by the wig?
They have cute eyes and I like the pout

 

Oooh, the Designer's Collection includes intriguing titles:
Manhattan Suite Dress Set and Sparkle Bartender Dress Set
Hopefully the SD16 boy shoes will be some nice wing-tips to go with those!

 

I'm very intrigued by Sparkle Bartender.
But all I can think about is a sparkly Tom Cruise making cocktails...

 

It's making me think of Draco Malfoy, bartending in the dark in a horrible Twilight crossover fanfic.

I can only hope the outfit lives up to THAT mental image.

The ears stick out a little more at the top than Yo ears usually do, but they are definitely human-shaped.

Hmm, I thought the little ones looked like mini Irvin and Kaelin, but now I think they look like mini Pearl. I wonder why I didn't see it before.

The little Yos are darling... The remind me of SD16 Pearl with the eye and mouth shape. It would be adorable if they had little teefies.

The only ones I noticed were the ones on the limited Yo-SD dolls. They are 4410 yen. To be honest, there weren't a whole lot of Sumika items advertised. I'm wondering if there will be more at the actual event.

The outfits the two Yos are wearing are the two Chibi dress offerings. The strawberry picker boy outfit (ichigo-tsumi) and the gentle breeze outfit the girl is wearing (soyokaze)

They're both really cute.

Outfit 1: SD13 Male Outfit (Blue Label) comprised of a mid-length black jacket over a white dress shirt with black tie and striped pants. 7140-yen

Outfit 2: SD Male Outfit (Blue Label) comprised of a short striped jacket over a white dress shirt with a black tie (silver chains on it). There are plain black pants which are cuffed with the stripes which match the jacket. 5250-yen

Outfit 3: SD, SD13, DD Female Outfit comprised of a very short pleated skirt in gray with tiny white stripes with what I believe is a very dark brown/purple jacket with one button (dress jacket), white sleeveless v-neck sweater over a white blouse with black and white checkered tie. This is a version of a school girl outfit. 5880-yen

Outfit 4: SD13 Male outfit comrpised of gray dress pants in the same design as the girl's skirt in Outfit 3. Outfit 6: SD16 Female dark gray dress pants with dress jacket (one button do-up) with belt and corset-like top that has fake fur attachment around the neck. 7140-yen

Outfit 7: SD16 Female dark gray dress skirt with dress jacket (short with a slight flair and puffed sleeves that go to the elbow with cuff that folds up to reveal a light blue accent). Outfit also includes black fur hat, corset-like light blue top and black stockings. 7140-yen.

Outfit 9: SD13 Male outfit comrprised of similar black jacket to the one in Outfit 8 except Outfit 9 is a button-up version. Outfit 10: SD, SD13, DD Female outfit comprised of short brown jacket with two button do-up over a sleevless gray top that has a drawstring just above the waist and below that there are horizontal stripes. The skirt is a brown layered ruffle skirt with light brown polka-dots. It includes gray leg-warmers. 6300-yen

Outfit 11: MSD, SDC, MDD Female outfit comprised of white winter hat with pom-pom (longer around the ears with braided strings for tie-up) and hooded sweater with short sleeves that only has one button below the chin. The long-sleeved black shirt has a ruffle at the bottom (white with black polka dots) and there is a forest green skirt with pocket (straight style) that goes to mid-thigh. 5250-yen

Outfit 12: MSD Male outfit comprised of black "leather" pants, pendant, maybe a gray over beige shirt with slight v-neck and a black beanie with white stripes around it. 4200-yen

The other outfits are pictured above in a previous post. The black dress is for SD, SD13 and DD dolls and is 6930-yen. The pink dress is for MSD, SDC and MDD dolls and is priced at 5880-yen. The Yo-SD outfits are the ones pictured on the Limiteds and the outfits are 4410-yen each.

To be honest, I was a bit underwhelmed with the outfit selection but I was impressed by the February outfit release discussed in another thread.

 

I should also mention that I took a picture of the magazine and didn't scan them. Now that I'm losing my natural light (it's nearly 5pm here), I won't be able to take more pictures until later in the week. But, maybe someone else can take them for you. I will come back, though, and check on requests.

It's incomplete, but hopefully more scans will be generously shared with us. It looks like they're releasing several shoes that they already released in previous sales. They could be different color variations, but it looks like a few previous shoes are definitely being rereleased.

Yes, that is Aya. Volks rarely uses her as a model and that is an especially pretty one.

I imagine she has not been rereleased because she did not do well in her debut at all. Aya did not sell out at the Dolpa event, and was in stock at Volks stores for months afterward.

Thanks to everyone who posted photos and links to photos. Looks like another great Dolpa.

Did anyone happen to notice in the closeups of the Yos the little boy seems to be holding a smaller version of himself? At least that's what I think it is based on the hat and hair color.

 

Oh, those SD16 suits? DO WANT. I have two powerful sexy ladies who have been in need of a power suit that hugs their curves, thank you Volks for delivering.

And I have spotted Sparkle Bartender, which sadly is not very sparkly but I can still totally see Draco being emo in it.

 

I definitely want at least one of the SD16 suits, but which one? They're both gorgeous.

The DD undie sets are also very cute. If I knew that one of them would fit an SD16 girl I'd be after that too.
