well so far i'm safe.... i'm still excited to see what else they will release...

 

Thank you so much, ria_ria!!! It's so exciting to see Irvin and whiteskin Irvin being released in Japan!!! They are both so handsome!! I can't wait to learn more about this Dolpa!!!

I KNEW this Dolpa would have a fairytale/woodland theme!!! It explains the ivy design on this Dolpa's logo. So exciting!!!

 

It'll be cool if all the dolls for this Dolpa were elves. Yo-SD elves... SDC elves... *drools*

 

zomgosh... i could totally imagine an SDC Renee elf!! *DIES*

 

Oooh, Irvin! After Dolpa I totally fell in love with all the repaints of the Ebony one so hopefully this'll make him easier to get on the second hand market. >3<

 

SDC Elves!?!? Oh man, you guys are trying to kill me. I have a severe weak spot for elves.

That MDD has just the cutest face. She is so tempting! I'm trying to hold out for a MSD or SDC though, hopefully we'll see some mini-size resin releases this Dolpa. And what a surprise to see the Irvins released! We already have one in the house though so I think I'm safe so far.

White Irvin is so awesome I hope they are not doing the thing where the white skin version is only for attendees of the event. Not that I can really afford him so maybe it -would- be for the best

While WS Irvin is tempting, I think I'm safe...for now.

The idea of elf series is interesting. I wish to see more of LE MSD with elf-ears.

OMG, I really need to pray that White Irvin is NOT limited to physical DP only item. I really want to have a chance to get him.

I hope they will have more LE elf outfits to offer with Irvin.

This would be the WORST idea ever. Because I would absolutely not be able to say "no" to an adorable little Yo-SD with elf ears!

White skin Irvin is SO beautiful, but luckily I'm safe from him and his ebony counterpart. *breaths a small sigh of relief*

I didn't recognise the white Irvin to be white Irvin! I think the wig tricked me

 

I'm ok with YoSD elves just so long as they're just elf ears added to already existing molds... now... if they make a whole NEW mold with elf ears... well... that'd be just cruel.

 

I heared the name of the white Irvin is 'Marvin'!!!!!!
(I don't know the exact spelling of 'Marvin', yet. However the pronounciation of this name is 'Ma-Bin', so I guessed the English spelling from this pronounciation~ I'm not sure is that just rumor or not.)

I noticed lots of people mentioning that they were safe because Irvin and WS Irvin are elves.

I'd like to mention though, they can be human too. Irvin came with optional human ears, and I'd imagine they would follow suite with WS Irvin as well.

Oh my, no big girls! That is...surprising. Perhaps since the already have 2 SD boys, there are no girls this time. Well, those 2 boys are pretty rockin. I am sure the Yo's will be too adorable for words ^_^

Wow, Volks has been showering us with Yos lately! I can't wait to see them.

I'm suprised if it is just those four resin releases, especially since it will probably only be two headmolds between them what with boy/girl Yo pairs having the same sculpt usually. I was kind of hoping for a pretty SD/SD13 girl or a mini, but then, my wallet certainly wasn't, so I'm not complaining! XD

 

Can't believe is no big gal this time, but why no MSD or SD cute >.<

 

I don't remember where, but someone said at a Volks Europe thing, that they weren't going to do a lot of MSD's this year, they had something else in mind.

 

i want to see the new yos i've been looking for a character in that size and nothings caught my eye yet..

Their sculpt reminds me of Irvin/Kaelin. Perhaps that might explain the elf ears?

The YOSD seem cute but no one still my heart at the moment....*the last famous words...LOL*

 

Maybe the economy is affecting Volks so they aren't releasing more than they should.

 

Considering the whirlwind of many awesome limiteds all last year... this is like a much needed break.
I'm not gonna complain one bit if "less is more" becomes the trend this year.

If anything, I'm happy I have some room to catch up.

I think so. Under this environment Volks may consider that the market is not good as before. (so we can save money for next DP......)

 

That, or remember, there is another Dolpa shortly after this one, and they just had the February event and the Sato event so they may just be needing to take a breath, which is more than fine by me.

I'm safe, I don't like elves. But I sort of like Colin's wig and from the promo pictures their outfits look really adorable and I might want those. >>;;

So Sumika line for me! (Assuming Volks doesn't use the same awful procedure they used for GW 08.) I'm still excited to be going to this event.

BTW, Volks has in the past released only 4 dolls or fewer for their March Dolpa.

In March 07, it was 4 dolls: Luna, Nagisa, Puff and Papi. I think in March 2006, it was only Tony, Midori and Manabu!

Now, if they only release 4 dolls for the GW Dolpa that would be more of a point of concern to me.

 

Am I the only person who can't see the pics of Colin & Remi? They're just broken images to me.

I can see them okay - I bet they are MUCH cuter in better photos (always the case with Volks IMHO) I do see some Irvin resemblance and also some MSD F16. How fascinating!
