Volks Kyoto Dolpa 6 (3/22/09) of my dreams! Please, please offer us some special dolls via the internet?

I am working so hard, paid off my credit card in dire hopes of purchasing a Volks Dollfie "Olivia Morgan" & her handsome boyfriend. (Why do I always promise that these will be my last doll purchases? OK, my excuse is that I don't own any Volks Dollfies, and that those two are the only ones I want.)

as far as I know volks will not release many sdc this year. I talked with a staff member this noon at toy fair nuremburg. they have a lot of other plans for us! I'm very curious what items and dolls will be sold this time. are there any news??

Well, I wouldn't be at all surprised if Renée is re-released as part of the "Best of the BESTs" campaign. I hope they'll give us some Dolpa info at Disneyland!

Are they posted somewhere? I can't seem to find them on the website.. but its all in Japanese so I have difficulty knowing what is what.

 

The One-off link is not up and running yet, so no worries. There are no photos of any doll releases nor any new info except when and where the event will occur. I just think we need to restrain ourselves from making statements that may confuse others at the moment until further information is released.

 

The website indicates that the guidebook will be released on February 28th. I don't think we'll get any pictures - besides cellphone news maybe - before that.

 

Two weeks away...TOO FAR ;_;

That Volks is continuing the Fate DD models beyond Saber gives me hope for a Rin Tousaka DD for the future.

 

I love magical girl lyrical nanoha! And Fate Stay Night. Both DDs look so awesome!

 

MDD Illya looks really awesome! Nanoha looks good too, although I would rather see her with a smaller bust.

 

Nanoha looks awesome, though thankfully it's Nanoha and not Fate. If it was Fate I would have trouble resisting ;o;

If you look next to the quote button there's a little button that has the " symbols on it. That's the multi-quote button and you just click it on the extra quotes you want to respond to and press the quote button on the final quote. You can easily respond to lots of people in one post that way.

I can say from having repainted Irvin that he's freakin' gorgeous. Truly. Stunning. That ebon skin is to die for, even if it looks orange *yet again* in Volks' pictures.

And all of us who were in NY and saw the white skinned version? Just as delicious in a totally different way... And here I thought I wasn't going to be buying any dolls until July. Ha!

 

Agreeing 100% Lady Samhainne, Irvin really is a delicious mold, I hope he'll get a warmer reception this time around for Dolpa, though I really don't understand besides Volk's awful orange photos, why the market was so tentative to accept this guy first time around ;D

The default is lovely, but I agree as well, it was when my irvin was repainted I really fell in love.

When the book "Komame's customization guide book" was released, its P.22 had photo of "Irvin White Ver" and said "&#35443;&#32048;&#12399;&#36817;&#26085;&#30330;&#34920;&#65281;(= The details will be announced in the near future.)". So I'd been thinking that Volks might sell him in Kyoto Dolpa...but did not think of (Black) Irvin.

Irvin is very gorgeous. Some of my close friends got him and all Irvin are wonderful. I suppose black Irvin may be limited at Kyoto and he may not be sold at AE (like Miruku/Kohya, for evony skin) .

I'm very curious with other limited dolls, too. I know a lot of people are waiting for mini size dolls!! I hope Volks has lovely minis this time!

The white skin Irvin was just gorgeous - but I'm sold on the tan now too since getting one at the NYC Dolpa! He really isn't orange in person. Here's a pic of mine. I have him dressed like he's Egyptian.

Personally, I want to know what Yos (if any are going to be released >>;; ) I tend to prefer smaller sized dolls.

I'm really excited about this Dolpa, it will be my first time attending one in the Kansai area! I'm just a little anxious since I've never been to the venue, I hope it is easy to get to from Kyoto station.

Wow Irvin tan and white skin. Irvin is such a beautiful doll, and agreeing with the above posts when saying that he is absolutely gorgeous when repainted.
