Anyway, the F38 sculpt looks like the almost twin of Yukinojo. And yes, the clothes are all drool-worthy.

I think I'm taking some spring fashion cues from this cute SD girl wearing the brown wraparound dress:

no, i went yesterday (with two of the 3 friends i went with the last time i saw you there).. one of them, rosaleendhu, had her 1st FCS order put in. that's when i ogled the stuff in it.

still not sure about the f-38.. even with that extra full-page splash pic they had in there.. i still need to see more shots of that head mold. it'd be the 4th mold i've considered for my OC.. and i was sure i'd settled on one.. .....in a sense, it's speaking to me.. but i'm not completely sold on it yet. *nods*

Why, Volks, must you tease us so by putting him on the insanely hard to obtain (and insanely gorgeous) SD17 body? I still look forward to new pics of him, and that outfit he's wearing is simply awesome. ^^

 

I think i am going to have to try and get Neon, he is just too cute! I really love souji, but i just want the head, so I could turn it into a girl!

Also I think the changes they will be making to the FCS is adding the SD16 (and maybe SD17) bodies. Seeing F38 on the larger body instead of the standard SD13 really makes me think that.

 

i seriously doubt they will offer the SD17 bodies for FCS.. but if i have the means and can at least find me a one off with white skin, that body's mine. =*M*=

 

That would be the Dolpa guide book, the one you have to buy at a Volks store. The Volks News is just to tempt you further...

MSD F-22 is adorable

 

The new MSDs are fantastic, I am so happy volks released new fairies! I sense another FCS in my future *w*!

However I really hope SD16/17 are added to the FCS list, a whiteskin 16 boy? ! Now that would be something.

I really hope Bianka and Rose are different sculpts, I know that sounds crazy.

 

I really hope I get my Volks news tomorrow. I already put aside the money for Okita in case I get a chance at him, but I do want to see more pictures. The teaser thumbnails are up and they're driving me nutty~

 

I'd love to buy a copy of the Volks News. Is there some way of ordering it thru Volks USA?

Outside of that, I like the Souji doll (I love the traditional series Volks does.) but none of the others are speaking to me.

Rose is really beautiful I did think she had a bit of Kurumi in there but now I am thinking they are the same mold. Amazing really..... I like Rose best so gentle looking she looks like my F04 MSD grown up!! Yeh wishing I loved Bianca as there is more of a chance of winning. I will probly enter for both but so far I lost the last 3 lotteries.

SO these SD bodies do they have a two part torso? and the flat foot right?

 

Apparently they are swaricco so they should have a two-part torso. As for the feet, I did read that much!

This is exactly what I was thinking too. I keep trying to convince myself that I should go for Bianca, because it looks like most everyone has fallen hard for Rose. I've never tried to enter one of the Volks lotteries before. This will be my first time giving it a go.

ETA: Do US customers enter the lotteries via the US site, or through the International Volks site?

Wow... these new photos confuse me even more!!! Bianka and Rose look more similar than ever but still somehow... I am not sure!!! Oh~ I'm so glad they're on suwarikko bodies!! I've never seen (an sd sized) suwarikko body in person before . Ah... what am I talking about I'm... I'm supposed to be sticking to MSD size and smaller!! Auuhgg... but somehow Bianka calls to me.... perfect, lovely, shiny new Momoko

Also~ I am not even much of one for boy dolls but the new SD13 is SO CUTE. Somehow o_O I feel like he looks so much more "awake" than most of the other Volks molds! I love his thick eyelids~ .

 

US customers usually try the US site first and if they loose they try at the international site which isn't a lottery but first come first serve. Your chances are way better in the US lottery than the international site. So far luckily the Us lottery comes before the international site after event

Ohh, Volks. *sob* Don't you know we all have bills to pay and recoveries to make from DP18?!?!?! Whyyyyy must you release such beauties NOW? ^__^;; And.....don't you know I'm a sucker for YO's?!?!

The more I look, the more torn I am between Rose and Bianca. I can't afford to go for both (I realize the chance of winning both would be slim to none, but with my luck it would happen. My husband would kill me! ) If Bianca had come out all alone, I'd be thrilled with her, but that Rose makes me squee. Then again, it really does look like the same mold. If so, the only difference is the wig, and face-up. Arrrgh, decisions, decisions... At least we have some time to think on it.

 

IMHO, I agree Rose and Bianka have the same mold, after seeing the teaser pics. If I go for one, I'm just picking the one with the face-up I like best! Of course, I could be wrong about that, but I'm sure we'll have plenty more pics to help us decide. *crosses fingers for pics coming soon*

 

I actually took a couple seconds and transposed the pictures of Rose and Bianka over each other, and yes. They are most definitely the same mold. ^_^

I'm trying so hard to resist Rose, but my resolve is failing so terribly! And after learning that she is designed by Ciera, my favorite Volks artist... Oh Lord, help me! It's been a long time since I've loved a new doll so much.

My brithday is on the fifteenth of March, so I'm hoping that the money I have saved + money I save next month + birthday money from family and relatives will = enough to buy Rose!!! Oh, but if I lose the lottery...

Oh Volks, I love you so much, but you strain my wallet so.

Yeah, based on those small teaser pics I think its the same mold as well. I'd be happy with either, but I like Rose's face-up slightly more and I think the pink wig is super cute.

Not yet. It's still early.

 

The USA lotteries generally start taking entries around the day of the actual Dolpa. ^_^

 

I was just thinking... I didn't even receive my items from the last Dolpa lottery from Volks USA and they are already coming up with a new Dolpa and new lottery! Is it me or are Dolpa's getting more and more frequent? Every 2-3 months?

 

I think last year they also had the X-mas one and then a Kyoto (or Osaka) one in mid-March. I can't remember for sure though.

There has been a Winter Dolpa and then another one in March for the last 3-4 years. The next one after the Kyoto one will be in Tokyo for GW.

 

They almost always do Kyoto Dolpa in March. I'm not sure if its ever been held in a different month, but someone please correct me if I'm wrong! Also, I think they've been holding Dolpas every 3-4 months for the last few years, and it might just seem like there are more now because overseas customers have better access to them through the USA lotteries and the dealers that take orders here.

I've been skimming the thread and there seems to be so much buzz about Rose and Bianka, but I am simply smitten with Okita! How I wish I could bring him home~

 

Okita Souji sort of reminds me of an MSD head. In fact, when I first saw his picture I thought that they must be releasing a new MSD, but I think he makes a nice SD13 too.

That could very well be. XD Is more of a wishful thinking that they'll release another one some time later. MUCH later. Because all these releases at once are so overwhelming.
