I managed to get them, in my 2nd order!!
I think it was 1 or 2 hours after the start, (the first hour was just pure system crashing hell ) they came back in stock and I grabbed them with the pink MSD shoes!
I still can't believe I was nuts enough to pay shipping twice though... I probably should have waited for Volks Usa, now I'll feel so bad if I see everything I ordered "in stock" there

 

Whoa! Thats so quick~ I haven't gotten a shipping notification from them yet. I can't wait to get my stuff!

Yeah, I checked my junk folder and then added Volks International to my safe list.

My debit card was also charged by Volks USA for the lottery~

 

My AE item arrived yesterday. Service is so speedy.

 

Hmm, the amount charged to my credit card for the AE item that I bought was removed. Is that bad?

I got both my outfits today. Wow there so wonderful, and well made. I got the SD 16 boy school outfit and the SD16 girl White outfit. The SD16 girl outfit, is much better in person then on the website pictures, those pictures don't do it justice at all. I'm glad I was able to get them. I hope to see more pictures of the dolls in the gallery .

 

Nani, could you spam pics of that white dress? I'm curious how it looks since all the photos featured on Volks' site just blur out all the details.

 

The exact same thing happened to me today with my Paypal account.
I was DYING

But, a few hours later, it recharged.
I had already received the shipping notice, so I was very very nervous.
It came through again ok.

I got my stuff from both Kyoto Dolpa5 AE and Volks USA 2008 today! My mom said that the UPS guy and the USPS guy both showed up at the door the same time.

I cannot believe the details they put on the SD16/17 Boy Dress Shoes (SB-SD16B-016)--so pointy and heavy! I can imagine that they'd make that loud "click-click" sound when walking on pavement.

Ah~ Picspam of my Yuki-chan wearing his sexy suit and dress shoes will definitely come up.

I hope others get shipping notices soon! If not, you might be surprised to have the packages delivered to your door without notice~

Check your junk mail folders--the shipping notices might be there.

I went ahead and purchased the BTSSB rocking horse shoes on ebay. It was marked up, but just about what it would have costed me if I got them from the AE. ^___^
I got them from Natalies I believe. She is a very good seller, I got many rare, discountinued items from her for bargain prices.
She has the MSD BTSSB shoes guys (and other items from this dolpa including dolls), so if you want them and cant wait like me (hehe) grab them up!

Nope you're not the only one. I'm waiting for mine too! I highly doubt that anything will be shipped to me until the end of April since thats their delivery date for Rose and I also ordered some clothes as well.

 

I got my AE clothes and Volks USA shoes on the same day too. They arrived last Friday.
I am a little disapointed in the pink BTSSB shoes I got. They are a pale grayish pink that doesn't go with any of the pink outfits we have. I should have gotten the white ones!!!

 

Oh really? are they more this colour? I was hesitant to buy the pink ones because of them being so bright that they wouldn't go with anything I own for my girl. ANy chance you could post a picture?

This seller has a pair up on ebay (look in her store for white version). If you see the pic of them in their package, you can see the greyish prink Sheri is talking about. It is quite an odd color, but perfect for maybe something hard to match.
I got the rocking horse shoes from this seller. She also has a few outfits and dolls up from this dolpa.

Well, I just got back from Japan, decided not to buy Rose or Neon at the Shinjuku After Event, and got the White SD16 dress for Asalahan. As the dress was made for the SD13/16 size dolls, it is a bit big, but actually works pretty well. For those considering it, if you get it for your SD10G, you might want to nick the underdress in a bit on the sides around the bustline.

I kinda wish I had gotten some of those spiffy schoolboy outfits, but I resisted. Made it easier when I charges some $1400 to pay off my new guys at Sato.

Ok, I'm confused ... Volks is already shipping out some of the dolls from the US After-Event? O_o

 

I think if the product is really popular and you bought many, then the time they prepare and send the notification will be longer. Like I bought only two boy outfit, and I received my clothes last week....

 

Yeah, the color of the BTSSB shoes isn't really the pink PINK. It does have that greyish overcast to it and it's a little bit disappointing when I try to match it up with the MSD outfits I got.

Oh well... there will be some clothes that will match this shade of pink... :\

 

Well, I do not think mine were all that popular (I got the two sets of school uniform for boys). They were the very last to sell out......

I am pretty sure that they are just too busy.

So that means people bought the limited dolls from the AE get their dolls FASTER than people who won from Volks USA lottery?!

This is kinda unfair since I have to wait until May to get my Okita...

 

Yup it's true. You get your stuff from the AE faster then Volks USA. It would be worse if you were waiting from the dealers since they get theirs after Volks USA gets their shipment in.

If people are already getting shipping notices from Volks Japan for the dolls they purchased at the AE, then that means they get their dolls quicker than us who participated and won in the USA Volks lottery...

Oh well... I hope I'm wrong with my assumption~

But my feeling is that it's just a bit unfair so all I can do is make this facial expression:




But then again, considering that the AE is the same as the Japanese AE, I guess they really would get their dolls quicker, just like how I got my doll clothes from the AE faster before they're even released in the USA Volks store.

 

That is true, dark_angel. So I guess it is all balanced out.

Now I do not feel so "WTF!?" anymore if people who bought limited dolls from AE are getting their dolls before USA lottery winners get theirs.

 

The items purchased from AE are shipped directly out from Japan with the lucky buyer paying for EMS. Thus they get the items (dolls or not) faster than USA Volks.

The items for LA Sumika are being shipped to LA via container. Thus it takes about 3 weeks on the boat, 1 week or so to clear custom and pay duty (since they are importing the merchandises as business entity, I am confident that there is a custom duty fee somewhere.) That is why all collections (dolpa or not) are arriving 1.5 to 2 weeks later than the Japanese Sumika release.

I think Okita will be ready when the Dolpa 19 AE is taking place. I live close to Sumika, so at least I do not need to wait for UPS. (but I have to pay California Tax)

 

Anavel is right - the AE items are always faster because they are shipped directly to the buyer. The shipping is a little bit more expensive - but it's nice to get the items early. I've never won anything in the AE before, so usually I'm waiting with everyone else! :-)

 

I remembered during the last Dolpa that I got my SDC Renee like a week after I paid. It was a golden moment.

 

Hi guys my friend's Okita arrived today with my LPC black label set for msd. The only problem is volks mixed up my order for the princess set and sent me a prince set instead!

Anyone had this problem before? I've emailed them informing about the mistake... actually I don't mind keeping this set instead... but there's a price difference and I wonder since it's limited, so I'm worried someone who ordered the boy's set received the girl's set.

 

I would contact Volks about it and if they can't do anything about the situation, just keep it.

 

Just wondering if anyone still hasn't gotten shipping notice from the AE.
I got Bianka charged today, but still can't see any sign for my outfits. In the previous AEs, they always shipped the items to me in 3~4 days, but now it's almost 2 weeks! Awww...... @_@||||

 

I still havent had my shoes and dresses shipped yet =/ If I dont hear anything by monday I may have to email them.

 

I haven't been officially charged and no shipping confirmation. I already emailed Volks and they told me this: "We have been working on shipping order by order now and will let you know by the delivery confirmation email.when your order is shipped.
It will not be so long." *sigh*

The pink BTSSB shoes are a pastel grey pink - not at all bright, and really different from the human sized ones. Those look more peachy pink to me.
Even the photo from ebay is too bright. Although the second photo is closer. I will try to tke some accurate photos of them for you guys. I think they'd go with white outfits fine.

 

It seems to me that Volks has not been as prompt this time as they usually are with posting out items. I paid the Saturday of the After Event and only received notice that my card had been charged and that my order had been shipped today. I purchased two Sumika outfits released at HTD Kyoto 5, plus some other stock outfits and a stringing tool for my Yo-SD.

Separately, if anyone nabbed a Neon or Kanon and has now changed their mind, drop me a PM please, I may be interested in taking him or her off your hands! ;-) Thanks!

Did you get Rose from the USA lottery or one of the shops. I think the lottery dolls will arrive a bit before the shop ones.

I seriously need to stop looking at this thread - I keep seeing people posting "mine has shipped!", and getting excited, only to get my heart broken when I check my order status and there is no tracking #. I wish you guys would state whether your shipment is from the Int. AE or US AE.
