You did a very good job matching the costume in color and style.though I like your use of pink in place of white better.
thanks!! the costume is actually a hybrid, based around the kimono top from the old SEGA Sakura Wars Sakura Shinguji doll, -lightly modified to fit Konomi better- and combined with a schoolgirl skirt, -taken from another To Heart doll- with a scratchmade ribboned obi, complete with stuffed and weighted pouch. her Geta sandals were sourced from a TAKARA "Jenny" doll, a "Slice of School Days/Angel's Garden" Lillian, to be precise; in fact, her bra, panties, stockings and socks were actually the only articles completely scratchmade by me;
Still think you deserve kudos for putting it all together. Putting together different singles in make an outfit is still a talent.
thanks. i've been at it since 2001, and though i've made many, many outfits along the way, i remain far more adept at enhancing pre-fab doll clothing than making it outright. even so, i've gotten better than ever at making lingerie. i've had to, considering i've got to be like the only doll enthusiast on the planet that actually prefers old fashioned, modestly-designed underpinnings, -such as high-waisted "Granny Panties" for instance- on my girls, somehow managing to personally view such styles as inherently sweetly feminine in nature, rather than unappealingly Frumpy or worse, as many out there seem to generally tend towards. as such, i've endeavored to learn how to make full sets of coordinated, innocently-feminine lingerie, -at least for my more overtly sweet and innocent Anime girls- and have been struggling to make outright or contrive-together full fashions to complement their standard. i've finally come to the point where i feel i'm getting reasonably satisfied with results, but it has not been easy, -or cheap- to get there...
You aren't the only one who likes that style, I've been making similar for a few of my girls but I'm not to a point that I'm happy with yet.
