Here is an easy pattern that can work well for a tank top or vest for Narae, Unoa or any other slim MSD. It can be modified quite easily by making it longer or changing the stitch pattern. I used a "waffle stitch" but if you are new to knitting, you can just do a simple stockinette stitch. Pick up 12 sts from left back holder, 14 sts from neck edge, 18 from front neck edge from holder, 14 sts from neck edge and 12 sts from right back holder. Start from right side and do work stockinette for 8 rows. Change to 0 needle and cast off stitches To finish off arm hold, pick up stitches and single crochet around twice. Use a size 9 hook or whatever size just allows you to pick up the yarn. I picked up 3 stitches for every 4 rows of knitting. Just make sure you don’t stretch out the armhole. Sew up back seam to placket. I sew a strip of silk ribbon to the wrong side of each placket. Then I sew on three snaps. Steam tank top/vest and let dry. Pattern loosely adopted from the book, Fitted Knits by Stefanie Japel. ** Will also fit Unoa, Soul kids and Ellowyne. Have fun! Here is the top with a few minor changes:
I have a large bust JID, do you think this would stretch to fit her? It's a great pattern and thanks for sharing
