Here is another adaptation of the "Coquette Lace Tube Top" I did for my Narae. I shorted it up, changed yarns and knitted it on smaller needles. I changed the lace panel as well. I think it also makes a great top for summer wear. It knits up quite fast despite the fact it is a smaller gauge. SHORT LACE TUBE TOP Narae 43cm size** Yarn: 100% Lace weight Alpaca yarn from Knit Picks Gauge 14 stitches per inch, 18 rows per inch on 000 needle Knitted in the round, top down. Cast on 88 stitches on 000 needles. Knit in the round a 2 x 2 ribbing (2 knit stitches, 2 purl stitches) for 8 rows. Next 3 rounds: Purl Next 2 rounds: Knit Next 3 rounds: Purl Next round: Knit 17 rows so far Body: K 15 sts, purl 2 stitches, work lace panel, purl 2 stitches, knit rest of stitches, keeping in the round. Knit for 30 rounds, Lace panel is 10 rows. Worked 3 times. Lace Panel: Round 1: (Right side) K2, K2tog, yfwd, k2tog but leave on LHN, K into first st again and slip both off LHN, yfwd, SKP, K2 Round 2 ,4, 8: Knit around Round 3: K1, K2tog, yfwd, K4, yfwd, SKP, K1 Round 5: K2tog, yfwd, K1 K2tog, yfwd to make 2 sts, SKP, K1, yfwd, SKP Round 6: K4, P1, K5 Round 7: K2, yfwd, SKP, K2, K2tog, yfwd, K2 Round 9: K3, yfwd, SKP, K2tog, yfwd, K3 Round 10: Repeat round 2 Rep rounds 1-10 SKP = Slip 1 stitch as if to knit, k 1, pass slip stitch over one stitch just knit Yfwd – Yarn forward Next round: Knit all stitches Next nine (9) rows: Knit in the round a 2 x 2 ribbing (2 knit stitches, 2 purl stitches) Last row: Cast off loosely. ** Will also fit Unoa or other slim MSD dolls.
