Knitting Knit - Puki Puki Bonnet

Pukipuki Bonnet



Supplies needed:
Size 1 DPNs
10-20 yards Laceweight yarn
Size 8 (1.5mm) crochet hook (optional)

With Laceweight yarn and size 1 needles
CO 34 sts

Rows 1-3 knit all sts (Garter st.)
K 20 rows in St st. (k1 row p1 row)
BO using the 3 needle BO.

For the ties you can crochet them following the directions below or you can braid 3 strands of yarn together and knot the ends for a similar effect.

Crochet ties:
Pick up a loop from the front corner of the bonnet and Chain for 2-3/4 inches (7cm)
DC 3 times in next to last st, slip st and fasten off. Repeat for other side.
