I have a new photostory! This one is about the 90s Sega video game Fighting Vipers. Kirby is my Momoko Doll Nintendo character Kirby crossover doll. Candy (in the red dress) is the player 1 character color doll from the Fighting Vipers game. Honey (in the blue dress) is the player 2 character color. The Fighting Vipers dolls are from Sega Toys in the 90s. Their outfits are armor designed by Candy/Honey herself. She is a fashion designer who entered Armstone City's martial arts tournament to promote her fashion line. She was known as Candy in the US market while she was known as Honey in Japan. Since I have both dolls that were released, I named them after their different versions. The images of the game are from the Japanese version of the Sega Saturn version of Fighting Vipers. I used the Beetle Saturn core in Retroarch on my computer to play the game. I also have my original Sega Saturn and the US and Japan versions of the game though it's more convenient to just play on my computer these days. If you get red Xes, find the full photostory here: Kirby and the Fighting Vipers
I used to collect Momoko many moons ago! I think I still have some of them in my doll storage. This makes me want to pull them out. Momoko always had the best fashions for a smaller doll.
Thank you so much, @RabbidBunnies @Jareth and @AnnC Bunnies, I'm glad you found that exchange so funny I had so much fun doing this photostory, and I'm glad it came through in the writing. Jareth, thank you! Kirby is such a fun girl. I don't play with her often enough. I really don't play with my Fighting Vipers girls often enough, too! This is my first time photographing them since 2016. Check out this link for a couple photos of them from back then: Fighting Vipers - Candy/Honey Just because I don't know when else I'd be able to talk about Candy/Honey, here are some more screenshots of her. This is from the arcade version of Fighting Vipers rendering at 1080p on the Sega Model 2 Emulator: Fighting Vipers - Sega Model 2 Emulator 1.1a - 07 And here are some shots from the arcade version of Fighting Vipers 2 on the Supermodel Sega Model 3 emulator. She got a redesign for the sequel: Supermodel Sega Model 3 Emulator SVN 494 - Fighting Vipers 2 - 07 Supermodel Sega Model 3 Emulator SVN 494 - Fighting Vipers 2 - 12 Supermodel Sega Model 3 Emulator SVN 494 - Fighting Vipers 2 - 13 Supermodel Sega Model 3 Emulator SVN 494 - Fighting Vipers 2 - 11 I actually had the biggest crush on her when I was a teenager I was 14 when I first played Fighting Vipers on my Sega Saturn. I just loved her elaborate outfit and bubbly personality. Ann, I hope you still have some Momokos! They're so much fun to play with. They were not my first doll, but they were my first doll love after a couple months of being into dolls. Once I discovered them, they became my predominant 1/6 scale favorite.
