History: Ophelia was a fishermans daughter, very pretty and her hand was sought after by most men in the town. After sleep walking right off the dock and almost drowning she is saved by a particularly odd man with a disfigured face. When discovering he is a pirate she hatches a plan to sneak onto his boat when he returns to the ship he belongs to. She succeeds only because he's charmed by her curiosity. She becomes a stowaway at first set on adventuring to far off places. When discovered her new found friend defends her right to be there, and apparently he has some status on the ship because she's let stay and adventure. From then on forth her game is outwitting and outdoing each pirate living by the phrase "anything he can do, I can do better". She proves herself determined, having her friend teach her how to fight and fend for her own, teach her his customs and where he comes from. With that she sees the world and eventually finds herself romantically involved with him. But happiness like that can never last to long, he finds a brutal demise in which she desperately tries to prevent. When she fails she avenges him best she knows how and returns to society which has changed over the couple years she's been gone. She tries to rehabilitate and become a normal civilian eventually taming her to some degree. It's not till later she gets involved with a young seemingly timid surgeon who expands her story.
