USA Kentuckiana Fall Meet-October 20, 1-5 PM

I'm sorry for just seeing this! Things have been...less than good...and I haven't been keeping up with doll stuff as much as I'd like. I won't go into details here, but things are currently kind of chaotic and unpredictable, though I would very much like to see everybody if I possibly could! If you guys do plan a meet, I'd do my best to be there.

Since our last meet, my Iplehouse Lahela and Supia Naomi have arrived, as well as a doll I wanted for ages but just got the opportunity to get: 5Star Doll Jadeite! And my IslandDoll An An is complete, other than her permanent eyes--the head was a gift with a different doll, but her body is here now.

 

Last week of July is kind of busy for me, August would probably be better, really. And it might not be as hot? I know I'll be having a lot of planning around appointments coming up, but that shouldn't affect Sundays for now, I don't think.

 

Hey! I'm actually less than an hour from Frankfort, moved to the area a couple years ago! I've gotten back into the BJD hobby recently and would love to attend a meet up, I had no idea there was a community out here! I love Chinese food!

 

Hi and welcome! We do have a local group but we're kind of spread out all around Kentucky, with most of our meets being Lexington, Louisville, Elizabethtown and Frankfort. We've been having meets for well over a decade (maybe two decades? I've been going for about 15 years ), though the group does shift and change as people come and go in the hobby. We're always welcoming new people!

Thanks everyone! I'm good whenever in August! I can request whichever date we choose off as long as it's a month or so in advance, so no rush on my end!

 

Whatever we do, I'd definitely prefer it be indoors. I don't handle the heat very well. If we're doing August, the weekend of the 10-11 is not going to work for me, but I think everything else is currently open.

Same, I can't do this heat. It's been killing me. So a meetup inside would be perfect! The only time that won't work for me is the last weekend in August. (I had to put one of my babies to sleep today, so this month has been pretty bad -__-)

Technically, either works. The weekend I wouldn't be able to do is August 30-1 (will be at a convention)

 

Did we ever come to a decision on a date? Or we waiting till September?

I'm pretty late to a July meet up, but I'm also in Kentucky! Are you all planning to meet again soon? Any weekend date would work for me as long as I have a good heads-up. Frankfort is a pretty long drive for me

For some reason, I haven't been getting updates to this thread even though I did subscribe to it! And I've had so much (not fun) stuff going on lately, I didn't think to check. I'm so sorry!

Currently, my schedule is still pretty up in the air, so I'm not sure I can commit to anything, but if you guys want to pick a date, I'll make it if I can, and if I can't, then I hope everyone has fun!
