Kaori doll : Umay bleu Skin and grey

This is my 3th homemade BJD
His name is Umay. His size is 27 cm.
He is half demon, half humain and hi's a winter living being

Prototype born in novembre 2008
Resin born in september 2009



and I come back with my 2nd Umay.
He is grey skin, and I worked it a little more in "warlike" spirit.

I wanted a body that is animal in the legs but I also wanted the body is human. I am inspired legs werewolves, especially the character of Yugo in the video game "Bloody Roar"
I wanted him to move like an animal and the rotary joint of belly seemed the best option.
As in this picture where it looks like a wolf howling at the moon :




I'm glad you like it although it is not a classic BJD, it is more difficult to make people love a doll that is so different but I like to experiment in creating.
I'm not trying to copy what already exists because it is not interesting, even though my 1st dolls were much more conventional but I learned with them
