Just For Fun Just for Fun: Crystal-like bjds?

Here's my most crystal themed doll. Translucent blue resin, crystal eyes, and a crystal beaded wig I made as any fiber wig I tried just seemed out of place.

 

That is just a gorgeous doll!!!

:Edit: Sorry hit save too quick. I think something I'd like to see in translucent resin is the Animal or skull heads some companies offer. Like the Deer skulls, they would look really otherworldly in clear resin.

 

I agree, clear crystal skulls would be awesome! I think something like a fish, salamander or lizard would look really cool with clear resin too. A fish or sea themed fantasy creature especially would be pretty sparkly and see through—like maybe ResinSoul Lu in a shiny purple or blue see through resin!

I personally find @batchix 's mini Machinas in clear resin with glitter/beads/etc in them to be some the coolest crystal BJDs out there!
I'm also biased so CRYSTAL MNF SHIWOO!

You know you have too many dolls when you forget that you own some dolls with transparent resin!

They aren't meant to be very crystal-like, though. Here are my Sugarble Naga Tail (Emerald) Patrick (head# 2) and Adrian (#3) (purple). Eventually both will be dressed in jewels, but I just got lazy when Patrick came and haven't fixed him up yet!

Hmmm... so what would I like to see? More dragons and fairies (I know that parts in clear resin have been done--but more crystal-like styles would be great!). Maybe something like the Souldoll Souloids--with cyborg parts? (gah... hard to think of things that haven't been done before!)

 

A smol ghost child would be cool. I've seen transparent dolls painted up to be partly opaque and translucent which gives a cool ghostly vibe.

 

The only transparent part I have is this unicorn horn, worn by Pansy, my little goat girl.

I have an Argonautica Kios and little Pri in transparent blue.
I would love to see more of everything in transparent colors! My first vinyl doll was a transparent Smart Doll, and I recently got a transparent blue water bear.
So yeah, dolls, companions, anything! Everything!
