Yup. I'm in love with resin.

Yup...I think. I didn't notice the details of the face-up until he came. Looks way better in person.

Definitely, but they made a mistake. I got a white skin head, but in the right light, the body is yellower... Oh right, and he was extremely floppy...I immediately re-strung him...it was my first time. I'm proud, but the rope burns hurt.

Yes

Yes and I have to say his faceup is gorgeous!

Yes. I just want to note that I thought the boots weren't as pictured, and they were a tight fit so I was disappointed. However, I've recently discovered that the top of the boot folds down to make it look like the picture, so now I'm much happier...and feel a bit stupid

Other I just want to say that I am very impressed with the service. Since I live in Canada and had to send me order though email, I was expecting it to be a bit annoying. It was very easy to order by email, and when I wanted to add something to my order, it was no problem at all. It arrived very fast, only being in the post for a few days. It was packed wonderfully, with little treats and such inside. I am very happy with Junkyspot

* Was the quality appropriate for the price, in your opinion? Not really... If I had received what I assumed I would've, then I would certainly say it was worth it. My disappointment makes me feel like I wasted my money. I'm not personally familiar with DollZone's quality but the faceup was pretty sloppy... and that's just the beginning.

* Did the item look like the sales pictures? No. The pictured was whiteskin and I'm aware I ordered fleshtone. The pictured doll was shown with a limited-edition tattoo and manicured nails, which I recieved neither. In fact I'm sure he has unpainted female's hands with a non-tattooed body.

* If you weren't satisfied, how did the company solve your problem? I've yet to get in contact with them to figure that out.

I placed the order through their Ebay store. Since it was an international order, I found it easier to order from Ebay rather than emailing them my order.

Excellent, really. It did take a couple of days for them to reply, but they were very nice and helpful, and also notified me when they shipped my package.

* How easy was it to pay?
Easy enough, since they only accept Paypal.

* How long did it take to ship?
Fast enough, a couple of days (but take into consideration that I placed my order on Friday; most stores won't ship on weekends).

Yes, it was. Their shipping fees for international orders are a bit higher than other stores I've bought from, but nothing that will actually hurt your wallet.

* How was the communication? Uuuuuum.... communication could be better (it sometimes takes a while to get a response). BUT I don't mind that, since the service is really great. x3 When Emory does answer my emails, he is very polite and courteous. x3


* How easy was it to pay? I can use a credit card or Paypal. The system is pretty automatic if you use the shopping cart.

* How long did it take to ship? Best part - it takes roughly a single week to receive any doll. Emory always updates the website, so you know what's in stock. x3 Shipping is really fast for smaller things like clothes and wigs (it takes about two or three business days). Dolls always arrive in about a week. x3

* Was the quality appropriate for the price, in your opinion? Quality is always great. Emory uses very careful packaging to ensure that nothing is damaged. x3

I will say that I had ordered a wig that ended up being too small... o_O Must have been a factory thing, because it was an MSD wig, but it did not fit my MSD doll. SO, I emailed Emory and asked if I could exchange the wig and he said "sure". I exchanged it for another one without any hassel. x3 It was pretty cool.

Final thought:

Junkyspot has been my gateway online shopping venture. xP Emory is very reliable and very flexible. You can send in money orders, ask for layaway, pay through credit card... The service is really dependable, quick, and convenient. I definitely recommend Junkyspot, and I mention it any time I explain the concept of Dollfies to anyone on the outside looking in. Although emailing Emory is difficult at times... ;___; Sometimes he'll get back to me, but other times emails may be missed. Dx However, that's not enough to drive me away from Junkyspot. x3 If I have very urgent questions, I can always rely on the Junkyspot forum, which has its own league of very knowledgable and helpful members.

Originally I was sent UV Gloss instead of Flat. It wasn't a big deal, and I sent Emory an email the night they arrived asking for a refund. Emory emailed back the next day apologizing. He said he would send out the cans of UV Flat, and would give me a shipping label to return the Gloss.

However, I didn't hear from him for another 7 days. I sent him reminder emails on July 28th and 30th. On July 31st he finally wrote back, giving me the shipping label and letting me know the Flat was on its way. I sent the cans back to him on August 1st.

I didn't receive the cans until August 6th. There was no shipping notice and no further communication from Emory. The entire process of ordering 2 cans of MSC took roughly 3 weeks. I also asked about making a custom purchase (a head only), but since never heard back I'm going to purchase it elsewhere. Apparently I'm not the only one having communication issues with JunkySpot.

so so....he was quick to email when something I ordered was out of stock (and quick to refund) however asking a question beforehand got no reply. I also tried to make a login for their forum which was completely ignored.
