Some f these entries are very funny, kind of different I never knew there was so many ways to interpret a Jungian Shadow.

 

Wonderful entries! I wish mods would do a "Best Of..." with entries for these contests and put them in the Gallery-PLUS! They really deserve getting a second or third viewing!

 

Wow, these are some amazingly haunting images. I keep being impressed by the depth of talent in this group and the incredible emotional range doll photos are capable of conveying.

Me either! Out of curiosity though, when are the results going up? I know mods are busy and stuff though.

 

voting started a day or two late, so I think that might have delayed the whole things.

results were originally supposed to be up on the 31st.

 

It's amazing how a lot of these turned out so incredibly surrealistic, even without photoshop manipulation. I feel really bad now, because they'er all so captivating I really just can't choose one....

Maybe not but hey! keep in mind that -LOTS- of places are flooded on the east coast still and heavyly damaged.....I -BELIEVE- that the MoDs running the contest are on the east coast(i could be wrong) But anyway i'm sure the reults will be posted soon eough for all of us dying to know....

 

Yeah, if you're not in the East (floods), you're in the West (earthquakes), or in the middle (floods\heatwaves). So wherever you are, you've got some kinda Hell going on. And if you're too far up North, you're already getting snow.

I certainly hope the reason for the delay is not the hurricane and that it is causing problems. It did not seem to cause major delays for the other contest decisions and tallying getting completed, so hopefully that isn't the case.

Who knows, perhaps there is a tie or something crazy like that going on. Also, there was an insane amount of work involved and maybe the mods just need a break to enjoy the weekend and rest before tackling the last contest left to be decided.

all the other contests had under 15 enteries total.. this one had 46..... it could take them a little longer...(not counting the triation here.. but that again was put up sooner and the people whom won, won by a land slide)

 

Yes, that could very well be a factor too of course, especially if someone is hand tallying the votes. There could be lots of reasons as we have all speculated...

Mods have been online daily and have chosen not to comment yet, which just heightens the curiousity and mystery! LOL! At least we are keeping the thread active and not having to wait alone.

 

I just can't wait because the doll I entered I've been keeping offline everywhere because he's easily noticeable due to being so customized and I didn't want anyone to be swayed by who I was. And I would really like to get some photostories with him done and posted but can't because of this. XD

 

I can't wait for end, too I really like the photo I've taken and want to publish it on my site

Entry #41 (Icchaeyo) got 23 votes, so they won second place. However, Icchaeyo won the faceup contest, so she isn't eligible for the prize... so second prize (PM upgrade) passes on to third place.
Entry #40 (nu123) got 18 votes, meaning they won third place, but get the prize for second which is a quadruple PM upgrade.
Entry #13 (meiperfectneina19) got 14 votes, so they get 4th place and third prize, double PM upgrade.
