Jointed/posable ears / tails

I’m currently making a doll with a long posable tail, what I’m doing is putting little hooks on the end joint of the tail to pull the elastics trough, the elastic is drawn trough the tail and trough the body and connected to the hook in the head.

Posable ears sounds adorable. I’ve never seen jointed ears though, so there’s probably going to be some trial and error from your side.

 

A lot of posable extra pieces are made in a segmented way, so maybe work with that? I also haven't seen and posable ears, so I hope that helps

 

Uh-huh, I have a very complicated stringing for the ears of that guy... They pose like a dream, but I had to create a hook inside his faceplate, so as the cord goes not just between the ears, but down from one ear and then up back to another ear.




Jointed tails are easy)))
This mouse is only 10.5 cm high. The thinnest part of the tail is about 2 mm thick.



My other animals all have jointed tails.




They're also attached with magnets so I could put the pants on the dolls.
