Jointed Hearts 2015 Sweden, Scandinavia

      In September 5-6, 2015, Sweden will have a brand new BJD-convention! It will be held in Gothenburg, Sweden and everyone is welcome to join.

      This is a thread to discuss the upcoming event :D

      The full doll donated by Luts is a Kid Delf Bory in NS! This will be the first prize in one of the competitions at the convent (decided later).

      Those who pre-order tickets to Jointed Hearts before August 15 are also participating in a lottery where you can win Maskcat Doll Evelyn, a pair of shoes from Luts or a wig from Luts!

      The donations from DollHeart, that will be used as prizes in competitions at Jointed Hearts.

      From Iplehouse, we will receive Iplehouse JID Girl Violet with face up as a competition prize!

    4. There will be workshops, lectures and competitions - in which Luts have donated both wigs AND a complete doll as a prize (omgsh, couldn't even believe it myself O_O) The thing I, personally, look forward to most is that one in the administrating team has met Luts and been interviewing Iplehouse and will, from what I understand, be talking about that and show pics from their workplace (I THINK, maybe someone more recently updated could verify that xD) There will also be photobooths where you can photograph your own doll in different environments, and the workshops are about photographing, editing and maintenance (among other things, that is).

      It really will be a great experience I believe OuO And the entrance fee is 200 SEK, which isn't THAT much if you think about all the things you will be paying for :3

Dolls Rendez-Vous - I would suggest to e-mail [email protected] and explain what you want to do, and he'll give you all information you need ^^ There's still room for anyone to hold workshops or lectures or whatnot, and anyone that will do that also gets a discount of 50% on the entrance fee :)

      Yumeiro - Haha! I hope you'll make it! :D I truly believe it will be amazing, considering all the companies that has contacted us to show interest :D

      - Iplehouse has promised to sponsor a complete doll as a competition prize.
      - Doll Heart has sponsored two pair of outfits and two pair of shoes as competition prizes.
      - Admins are working intensively on translating the entire site to English, so it will hold better information for non-Swedish speaking visitors.

    12. Would it be possible to ask about the program yet? Or perhaps get a clue of when you think you will be able to share that information.

      I would like to know if both the Sunday and Saturday will be quite alike. Just so I know whether I "need" to attend both days or if it might be enough to just aim for one. The whole flight and hotel situation might not allow for both days, in my case, you see.

    13. No program is decided yet, but I would guess the days would be somewhat the same concerning workshops and lectures at least. The competitions may vary, as well as the competition prizes. I'll be sure to update this thread when I know more.

      Also, the site's information is now available entirely in English! The site can be found here.

      And Ringdoll has promised to sponsor an out of stock limited outfit, namely this one, for one of the competitions!

    14. Woah! Awesome that there is a thread here. I just signed up. Super late since I knew I had to go the same week the site was up. Im like a procrastination queen! Or maybe its cause I am super nervous. People can be way scary sometimes. I never really been to an convention before. Anything I should keep in mind? Cause I feel this weird nervous and super excited at once. Maybe writing here will help me take the edge of the nervousness ;D

    16. Nii-san_Obsessed - There's information about the contests up on the site now. It's contests in photography, face ups and such, take a look! (it's in the menu bar under tävlingar ;) )

    17. I really hope so. Crowded places makes me very nervous! But I hope it will be a big turnout none the less. My best friend is coming with me (she got into bjds too so thats awesome for me) so it will be a girl weekend away from home. Is there a page to see how many have signed up yet? I did not think to look for that.

      I have a hard time deciding what to enter in the contests.

Vickster - We don't have an online list of how many that have signed up to come, but on our Facebook event you can see how many have accepted their invitations, not that it's anywhere close to the real amount as we have people from other countries and none-Facebook users coming as well :) And I see no reason to get worried - just remember that you'll be surrounded with people that share your very interest and it's a happy occasion! :D

    21. OMG what?! This is so cool! I want to go but I'd be a little intimidated going alone *_*
      ...plus I have no stand or anything so I'd have to carry around my doll (whichever one I'd bring - but that's another question!)

      I'm soooo toooorn right now! The 5th is my birthday as well *_*
      I need to think some about this, preferably in the day and not in the middle of the night (good job finding this now Motiko...)

    26. I'm pretty sure I'm going to attend... It depends a little on my schedule, but Göteborg is just a three and a half hour train trip from my Uni, and in theory I have that weekend free (I'm attending cons both weekends before and one two weeks after though, so we'll see). I'm having such a hard time deciding who to bring though... Kessie, Nivah and Austin are musts, but I would like to bring some more...
