JID clothing database! (Juvenile Iplehouse Doll) Part 2

Ok! I'm back with photos! I like it a lot. Here it is on my girl, Gwyn (JID Tatiana, glamour bust)

A couple things:

• Gwyn was being uncooperative, so she's on a doll stand. The dress has plenty of room, so I just put the dress on over the top of the stand. Her hair is so long that it covers up the bit of bulge you'd normally see from the stand.
• The entire dress opens from the side with 3 snaps, which hold really well. I was impressed. I can put it on and take it off without disturbing the rest of her.
• The dress also has a tie on the back, but it didn't do a ton for supporting or tightening the dress.
• Support is kind of an issue. As you can see, it fits over her bust but I had a bit of a problem keeping it from slipping off. The doll stand helped.
• The material is pretty thin, and it feels really cheap. But for $28 shipped? I'm happy.
• It's a TOUCH long, but I just let the excess flow back behind her.

All in all, I'm happy with the buy and will definitely consider getting another!

Miuu, They'd most likely fit. So far the majority of stockings/socks I've bought for my JID if they only go up to the knee and are of a more stretchy material. It's getting tights/pants over the HIPS that is the tricky part

OK, I took some pix of my glam bust Isar in two dresses from the eBay shop Pink Fantasy (proprietor is mybayer2008). I get a lot of my MSD stuff there because several of my MSD 'girls' are crossdressing boys and this shop's clothes tend to run a bit large.

This Lolita-style dress is just "#129 Black Dress Outfit" in their shop. It has an elasticized front panel and also laces with ribbon, which helped it fit my girl. it's snug but not overly tight, zips all the way up the back, and fits nicely through the waist and hips.

She wears the thigh-high stockings from their "Sexy Black Briefs and Stockings" set with it - the stockings are very tight and the briefs aren't worth the trouble of putting them on and getting them off her.

This set has little matching wrist cuffs that come with it. The headband is not part of the set.



I didn't take pix, but she can also wear their #220 Maid Dress which is similar to this (has a white maid's apron and bonnet, no lace-up bodice).

Here's Noromaya (glam bust Isar) in another dress from Pink Fantasy. It's called "#146 Flower Dress" in their shop. Snug across the bust but room in the waist and hips, zips all the way up without forcing. I think this one is really summery and cute.

With it she's wearing their lace leggings in aqua - "#10 Blue Lace Pants" in the shop. They also have these in lilac, red, black and white but all of them are #10 =). They're great for her, super stretchy and fit all the way up to the waist with just a little coaxing.


But I still have no shoes for her =(

If you are looking for a decent fitting pair of jeans (and capris) for JID girls I found out this morning that the ones made by maggie_kate_create on ebay for Kaye Wiggs mini dolls will fit a JID girl like a glove. Unfortunately she usually sells them as part of an outfit set. I haven't asked her to just make jeans separately and I am not sure if she takes commissions. The outfit sets come with shirts that are a decent fit as well. The hats and sweaters she knits are too baggy on JID girls. The hats are made for the bigger KW doll heads and will swallow a JID head.

I was wondering if these dollzone shoes (or any other dollzone 1/4 shoes) fit the IH JID Girls:

Description says the width is 2.5cm, while IH JID shoes usually has 2.7cm width.

 

I know my Kaye Wiggs girls can wear many of the small bust outfits for IH JIDS, so I'm guessing that most anything made for Kaye's girls would fit smaller busted IH girls. There are some very talented seamstresses and pattern makers around. Try Virginia on etsy Raw Kiss for jeans and also cute "Flower Girl" dress pattern. She often has outfits as well. On Etsy try Kay Wiggs to see what you come up with. Also Martha Boers at antiquelilac.com has absolutely stunning outfits from time to time. She was a costume designer and her work is exquisite!She sews a lot for Iplehouse dolls. She also has some awesome tutorials if you like to make things.

I'm not sure if this has been pointed out yet, but the Impldoll 43 cm shoes would probably be perfect. The iplehouse measurements for JID girl feet is:
Length: 5.1 cm
Width: 2.2 cm

Beautiful dark green color with a little emerald hue.
Fits well on both bodies. Sleeve long. Length to thigh. Bear foolishly, but it is impossible to remove, or traces remain.
I took no zipper at the back. Fits with efforts, but you can not even remove the head.

3.Jumpsuit TTYA Jean 401

I'm pleased with it but the legs too short . Reach up to the cut-off low sneakers , but if you put on a model 's body , then there can be descended lower and lower on the hips ( then the question of length is removed ).

On the muscular body Jumpsuit sits at the waist is perfect (neither great nor small).
Apron with suspenders well on the shoulders for maximum adjustable length .
I should add that there is a beautiful fittings , brass and perfectly processed inside of the apron ( beige cloth on the site , but in reality bright red ), which allows you to lower it . But as in the photo on the website will not work. Suspenders tightly wrap around the hips.

I took with a zip at the back and for good reason. At the village muscular body is very tight in the shoulders . But that's a plus, because it emphasizes the sportiness of the breast. On the body of the model type look perfect.
Color as bright as the advertising photos. With the sleeves is the same story as with the hoodie , but it seems to me that the shirts are a couple of millimeters long . Maybe because jersey thinner.

Looks good, but not better hands fold. In this case the sleeve significantly short. Length slightly below the waist. Visually jacket is not small. It is better to look at the body of the model type.

Tonyabu: Thank you! I appreciate the model/muscular body distinctions as it makes things a bit easier to gauge the fit.

I bought Daniel and Boris with aspirations of them fitting my DZ clothes without doing ANY homework on the builds. As a new BDJ owner, it hadn't even occurred to me that the size difference would be so great within the models. I just didn't think about it at the time. Regardless - this is what I have so far for clothing reviews. Keep in mind - All of the stuff I am reviewing is from Ebay (to give you an idea of their sizes.) I'm not sure if I can post ebay store links - but most of the MSD tops that I've bought fit and of decent quality for the price.

Red Cat Hoody - I bought off of Ebay. It's pretty common on the searches - MSD sized.
Fit: Good
The sleeve length (while straight) comes a little bit past the wrist which gives it plenty of coverage when bent. The Length is decent. With the hood on, the bottom sits on the waist band of his jeans. It fits nicely when zipped up unless you are looking for something baggy. Its snug, without stretching over his chest.
*warning: Stains slightly. Should cure with vinegar or a wash on cold - hang to dry so it doesn't shrink.



Leopard Print (slightly messy) top: Again, this was on ebay. - SD sized. (its way to small for my SD)
Fit: Good
It fits snugly. And if Skigh's style was off the shoulder, it can be pulled down to one, or both sides. I believe the length of sleeves is about wrist length (I pushed them up to fit into the hoody) and the bottom of the shirt sits at waist level.



Leopard Print Shoes: Ebay and again these were meant for my SD which turned out to be a tight fit.
Fit: Decent
They are a bit big but not by much. They don't have zippers so they are pain to put on (have to untie / relace to put on and off) and I recommend that you hike up / leave enough slack in the pants before you do them up or else you'll have a hell of a time getting him to sit properly.

The Jeans are Iphlehouse.

Fit: Decent
Its actually not too bit, a bit tight but it works. Both overall length and sleeve length fit.

Slashed black tank top: Ebay - SD sized
Fit: A bit big
Its big / baggy but if you wear it under something you can adjust it like you would a mannequin. lol



I have very FEW other pieces that fit the boys (so they are both terribly mismatched or naked) - but I am going to place an order with a few places this after noon in SD / MSD sizes and will do a picture review when they come in.

 

Can I ask where to find heels and if the Lorifina doll clothing and shoes will work?

 

OMG I have this Outfit form hearts for Hearts Dolls I believe who would have guess they can fit their clothing I'm so pulling this out and putting it on my Violet...hehe

I would like to know where I can find JID boy shoes as well. I would like some Chucks like they have on Iple or some sneakers. I know I saw a post from a while back about the JID girl wearing Tonner heels but I don't see it anymore.

 

I had these high heeled Dollmore shoes (link - http://www.dollmore.net/shop/step1.php?number=9418) but sold them when I thought I was going to stop collecting. I plan to buy them again. As I thought they fit well. I had some Lorifina red high heels,
but did not like the fit. The back of the shoe hit right at the doll's ankle joint which tended to make her foot change pose and want to tumble down (without a stand). Plus I was worried the plastic might transfer color and stain the foot.

Forgive me if this has already been raised before (if so, point me in the right direction and I'll be ultra grateful) but would stretchy Ken doll t-shirts fit? I've been toying with the idea of a JID Daniel, but it's the clothing issue. however, there are Ken clothes aplenty lying around and some of their surfer-esque t-shirts are pretty cool!

 

Unfortunately, no. The JIDs...especially the boys...are much larger than Ken, so it wouldn't work. I use some of my stretchy Ken stuff on my BIDs and every now and then my KIDs. Daniel's a fabulous sculpt, so I hope he'll find his way home to you. :-)

 

Ken doll stuff is more likely to have a shot at fitting BID's... I have a similar sized doll to a BID and he 'does' wear Ken outfits (long shorts = pants and pants have to be shortened. ) Click Enyu in my sig... everything he wears is Ken's... but I think for a BID the arms and legs might be too slim not sure..

 

Aww, bless you both for answering my question! I'm definitely considering a Daniel and have never really thought about a BID... but you never know! Any recommendations for a cute but naughty male BID sculpt?

So sorry for the delay in answering this. Not sure how I missed seeing that this thread had new activity. :-/ Hmmmm....cute, but naughty BID. I've got Efreet & Byuri here with Erzulie on the way and I'd say of the 3; Efreet wins the potentially naughty prize. If you want cute naughty, then the little one with the tongue out...CoCo, I think. Serca is is another good one I think. But realistically, if you get the right faceup on a doll, you can get almost any personality that you'd like. :-)

 

LF "leather" pants and jacket for JID boys. Since I've told the one from Alice's in 1/4 size won't fit Soulkids boy body, I guess it won't fit JID boy too, but what about 1/3 size?

 

I know this is technically for NON Iple stuff but I thought I'd pop this in anyhow.. as a heads up (or warning?) about the Vino Rosso Set... I have a lg bust (aka middle size) JIDg. I bought the VR set and when I put it on I was... not happy with the fit. I know it is meant to fit 3 sizes... but I have serious doubts it would work on the Glam bust at all... The back has a lace up corset style. ... Okay fine. I'd expect the small to lace shut or almost shut... the lg to have a gap and the Gl a bigger gap.... Most of the back is exposed on the LARGE bust. The gap would still be a lot on a small ... I can't even imagine how the GL would fit...

In my messages with IH I was told to pull the dress up higher.... it does not go higher... I don't know if I got a one off bad fit or what.. but just in case.... this is how it fit my lg bust girl.

i do not think so, tried a shirt with much stretch, meant to be worn over another shirt. it could go on, but it felt to tight i am afraid it could ruin the shirt with repeated use.

 

Does anyone know where to get shoes (casual boots/trainers) apart from IH for JID boys?

 

I am just about ready to order a JID I doll with Makeup C. I love the real skin and feel it's worth the extra cost. At first I considered the KID doll but decided she was just to small. Now, reading over the comments on clothing I'm getting worried that dressing her and finding shoes will be a problem. I don't want to order a lot of things and have none of them fit. I had a Goodreau BJD and have some of her things left...like boots and hoodies. I sure would like to think that they will fit but seems that these Iple dolls are a bigger MSD size. Where should I start??? Patterns?????

 

Goodreau will NOT work at all... huge size diff if you mean the resin ones... I have whisper... she swims in JID stuff.

Buy one outfit from IH.. nothing fancy just a t-shirt, say the spandex type pants and one 'go with most things' pair of shoes. That way she won't be bare ^^ Then start the real hunt lol...

oh and my Jessica is an "I" too ^^ she's a combo face though ;p

 

I don't know about the girls, I imagine they have smaller feet then the males maybe? so it might be even easier to find shoes for them. But stopping in here to share what I've learned about what fits on my boys feet since he came home.

First off with a bit of a wrestle he fits in converse keychains.



Also A good place to look for shoes is dollmore. I don't have a picture but my boy fits in the dollmore boots I own. Just be sure to look at the measurments cause dollmore has everything from 6 cm shoes to 7.5 cm shoes in their MSD section.

 

How about Etsy seller TTYA....is their MSD size big enough for the Iplehouse JID? I like their clothing a lot.

 

TTYA product is excellent and well worth the price point. I have many of the MSD size for my Minifee, Unoa, Narae, and Volks. None of the pant styles I have will fit JID girl let alone a JID boy. Some of sweatshirt type tops are a good fit for JID girls. If there is a specific top style you want to know about, LMK.

 

I've had luck with Volks and DollHeart (ok, Dollheart's not exactly 'casual' ^^). Volks makes good wide shoes, especially their LE shoes that tend to be oversized.
Dollmore's sizing is inconsistent, so some fits and some doesn't.
I also have a pair of Leeke high-top sneakers that JID can just squeeze into.

 

I've tried some boots and shoes from BJD Accesories Wholesale, they fit fine.

I also own a MSD size pair of Leekeworld high top sneakers (no longer being sold) that are no more difficult to put on JID boy than Iplehouse's own sneakers for JID boy. Both require some effort to slip up over the doll's heel.

Two more pair of MSD Leekeworld sneakers that are being sold presently are in route to me and I will edit this post with the info if they prove to fit acceptably.

 

Thanks for the TTYA products that fit. I've marked them for myself when I order next. I have large order coming for my YOSD dolls. I can't wait to see the fit on those.

Lady Tiku - Most definitely what you say is how it works on Flickr from a computer and of that I am well aware; however, Flickr's android mobile app does not display the same way.

Bottom line is I don't have time to be sitting at a computer once I get home. I do have time here and there that I could be sharing info once I learn how to do it from either my Samsung Galaxy Note 3 smart phone or my Samsung Galaxy Note Pro tablet using the Tapatalk interface.

As you saw, I did figure out how to post a URL to my Flickr picture but not the actual image. And to top off my confusion Tapatalk had an update yesterday that totally changed their entire layout.

Obviously I am not understanding the procedure. Maybe someone who is savvy could give step by step help.

 

If you get the direct image link and format your post on tapatalk as [ img ]linkgoeshere[/ img] without the spaces, the image should post. I pretty much exclusively use tapatalk and the android flickr is a pain on mobile!

Small, large, or glamorous bust sizes are different enough to markedly affect the worn look of any close fitted item. Not all but some of the girls have a frontal bust/body comparison picture at the end of the listing that you can see without being signed into your account. IH used to have a side view picture of all three bust sizes on their site but I can’t find it now.

Iplehouse’s JID_Girl Cappuccino one-piece outfit was released after the release of the glamorous bust size. IH listing does not state which body it is pictured on; however, I’m quite sure it is a glamorous busted doll.

Comparison TTYA Logo t shirt MSD size “beige” on bottom with the Unoa size “dark gray” on top. The most noticeable difference is the smaller neck circumference for Unoa with a millimeter here and there smaller as to fit Unoa precisely.

Considering the Unoa size versus the MSD size for the TTYA Logo t shirt.

TTYA Logo T shirt Unoa size worn by an IH JID girl with the large bust, which is the middle of their 3 bust sizes. Although the fit is passable in the neck, shoulders, and armhole areas, note that the large breast size pulls the shirt up and away from the body from the waist down.

Bottom line is I much prefer the MSD size for large bust but suspect that on a glamorous bust it would look like Unoa size on large bust.

On the bottom “JID Girl Slim line pants” color gray and on top TTYA “MSD Basic Cotton Pants” color mustard – they were aligned at the crotch seam. The “JID Girl Slim line pants” fit like a second skin and she absolutely cannot sit in them without the snap popping open.

All items are by TTYA. Bottom are MSD “Washing Cargo short pants”, middle are “301 Jeans”, top are “102 Jeans”. There is considerable difference between the waist opening sizes between product styles for enacting a tight fit to falling off the butt fit.

101 Jeans are the dark color and 102 are the same style washed out with both being a tight fit on Unoa; 301 are the dark color and 302 are the same style washed out and neither can be put on JID girl or boy.

TTYA Washing Cargo short pants MSD. This style of pants has the largest waist circumference opening. This is the farthest up I'm willing to try because considerable strain is already being put on the bottom of the fly front/crotch stitching.

I don't own the 201 or 202 Jeans because I was told that they do not fit JID girls. Comparing TTYA's pictures of them with the Washing Cargo short pants and the Cargo Baggy Pants leads me to believe that they fit the same. I do own the Cargo Baggy Pants and they do not fit JID girl.

 

Played a little dress up with my boy today and thought I'd share a few of my discoveries. (My boy is on the muscular body)


This dollmore hoodie fits him like it was made for him with the sleeves just being minorly too short when he bent his arms.

would clothes made for 50-60cm dolls fit jid boys okay?

 

it's not just the height... IH dolls are just 'built differently' all over... untill you try it on them you can't really know... we would need to know specific company names (who made the outfits) and see if someone else had tried. You can't just make 'generalizations with this (Iplehouse) company... they like to defy them all so there is no way to tell with such an open question.

 

I've had a bit of luck in the past with t-shirts made for Delf boys -- their torso measurements are pretty close, aside from the length of the torso and arms. But long sleeves and bodice length would likely require hemming. I have a few SD boy shirts that I bought from 'Diverse Designs' in my early days of the hobby (they used to sell on the Marketplace) that were modeled on a Delf boy -- with some hemming on the bodice and some long sleeves, they worked great for my JID boy.

 

Hey all! Does anyone know of any Christmas or holiday themed clothes that would fit my JID girl (glamour bust)? Something as simple as a good Santa hat, to something as complicated as a full outfit...I wanna know what's out there! What have you found?

Has anyone seen the 20" Sparkle Girlz dolls at Wal-Mart--I think they are about $10 each? I was thinking of getting one and stripping it to see if the clothes might fit Tatiana when I get her. The scale of the dolls seems similar, so I'm thinking they may fit. Anyone have any thoughts?

 

I've read several good reviews about this ebay shop, and read on the description that they can make custom sizes.

Has anyone tried this? I love how they have Anime-themed clothes there and am planning to order some for my JID GB Girl. >___<

 

I got my IH JID dolls in recently and wanted to see what I had that fit them. I decided to try a few teen trends pieces. Teen trends clothes were created for teen trends dolls by mattel.

Let's see what fits!

Here is a teen trends top. My girl has the Glamor bust and the mobility joints. This top actually fits her pretty well! It is stretchy.


Here's a pair of teen trends jeans. They are a no go!


Here is a teen trends nightgown. It fits ok from the front but does not close all the way in the back. Again I did say my JID girl does have the glamor bust, so if your doll has a smaller bust it might fit much better.

 

I think it's safe to say any teen trends items will fit if they are stretchy. This is a pair of their pajama bottoms.


Another stretchy top.


These jeans look good from the front but in the back it's a no go! So if you wanted a quick pic she could wear them with a long shirt and you wouldn't see anything. She could not sit down in them however.




This is a Ellowyne Wilde romper. It fits fit but is a little tight in the thigh area. She can't sit well in it.




Here is a guppykisses top made for the MNF girls. This top actually fits her pretty well!!

 

I had a bunch more TT tops but with my girl having the glamor bust she wasn't getting into any of those! I think a small bust girl would have no problem with some of them. A couple were too small for her shoulders too.

I just picked up a couple of the prom dresses too. I can do another photo shoot to see how they fit if anyone is interested?

 

Yes please! Thank you for sharing everything you've posted so far! I've got a glamour bust girl too, and finding tops and dresses that fit her properly is always a challenge. I'd love to see more!

 

Hey all, good news. The new MSD sneakers (the high top Conversey looking ones) from Alice's Collections can actually fit JID boy feet! It is a bit of a squeeze, but they look really natural (as opposed to my Limhwa's who get "monster feet" from them).

I thought I would share, since the sizing on the site makes it look like they wouldn't work. If they we're so wide, they probably wouldn't. But, now Gavin's stolen some shoes from my other dolls! I'll share pics when I have some proper pants on him to go with that ... You know JID boys, pants are the other major problem, hahaha.
