i found the nine9style short boots a little wide on the ankle... but alright in size.

this clothes here from dollmore fitted perfectly!
-The dress is for msd but is quite large and as it opened all at the front you can even use it as a jumper on top of other clothes.
-The tights are SD size , and they are logger than in the photo, i pulled them up to be at the length i wanted. they fit quite well. almost lose on legs. so it becomes long tights for or Jid girls.
-shoes are from ruby red, great fit

The dress fits my large bust Asa fine, but the outer sweater does not close as tightly as the picture shown. It should definitely work better for the small bust girls. I bought for another doll but decided to have Laila try it on anyway.

 

O: I been looking at that top for months. I didn't get it cause it looked iffy in the chest area. Thank you for confirming it does fit.

I just ordered Asa, and I decided she will be my first Chinese character ! I would like to find some Chinese clothes... any ideas ?

 

I don't have a camera at this moment, but I am buying one soon I get paid. My order from Releaserain came in on Monday. I am not going to review the sandals since I already own a pair in another color. I was lucky to snatch up these Leather Ribbon Heart Mary Jane Shoes I love these shoes since they are the closest I can get that are Victorian/Edwardian like,and they are prefect for the outfit I am designing for Rose.

Shoes fit perfectly, there is a gap near the upper ankle area. Yes they are high heeled and I had to fiddle around in order for Rose to stand without tumbling over. I would not recommend your doll stand unattended. Until Iple make heel feet parts for your dolls, its not sturdy for her to be standing alone.

 

I'd be interested in Chinese clothes too!...especially silk cheongsam or kung fu -like uniform. I have a sort of pattern for the high-collared top, but have no idea how to make (or buy) those teeny little frog button closures....

 

Sylphide, thanks for the answer. I may have to try that one out but I am not allowing myself to buy new clothes or wigs just now since I'm supposed to be saving for a doll (must resist Dollmore's siren song).

 

Okay just ordered from Stacies pink ocean. These outfits are custom so they require exact measurments. Thought i would throw that out there if any one is looking chinese outfits for your jids.

 

So, anyone with boys have any luck recently? Right now I just have a few things for my boy from Iple. I do have a couple SD size shirts that he can wear but they really are too big. I am looking for casual style.

I just bought 2 outfits from Anotherspace 2 for my Ronja (Iplehouse RS Amy) and it fits great on her.
My Amy has small bust!! Bigger bust could be a problem.

Weird the converse i just got from there didnt fit my friends Ryan very well at all. Your sure they were Msd? I must have gotten some that were smaller or something.

 

These Nine9style default Lucy Western boots really do fit IH JID properly, are in scale, and she can “free stand” in them unassisted like a champ.

Sophia's leggings, sweater, and Hat are Iplehouse JID clothing items.
Note: the hat and sweater were modified from their original condition. The hat had the hatband removed and reapplied differently to get it to behave more like a beret style. The sweater had the white top stitched hems on the sleeves and bottom picked out and the all were blind hemmed by hand.

 

Cowboy boots that fit the girls! I wish they had other colors beside brown..

 

Certainly I will join you in seconding that wish.

My time to be online is very limited so I cannot do the necessary work to get something like a petition going to see if others would spend the bucks for some other colors of these boots made exactly the same way.

I wish someone could do it.

 

Hmm I wonder if you can write to Nine9style and suggest to them to make the boots in other colors...sometime companies take these into consideration and do it. I do love those crystal heels, but they are going to be big..

I don't think so, Sooma ~ Unoa are around the same height as the JID girls (I think?), but they are considered 'slim minis' I think, since they can share clothing with Minifee. I've also read that Unoa heads are smaller, and take a 6-7 wig. JID is listed as taking a 7-8 wig. I know for a fact that JID clothing is too big on Minifee, so I'm figuring the same will go for Unoa.

Definitely No. IH JID girls have a much stocker frame and a larger head.

Have a look at these comparison pictures I posted of VMSD, Unoa, and IH JID and you can see why.

Quirked is right about the Unoa being a slim mini and able to share clothing with the MNF girls and IH JID girl clothing is much too big for Unoa.

Some 6-7 wigs are a bit large for Unoa. They do best with 6-6.5 size wigs.

IH JID girl shoes will fit Unoa nicely but not the heeled boots. The IH JID girl boots with heels are too narrow for Unoa feet.

 

Although the Nine9style Ankle booties are good for scale on IH JID girl’s larger frame and they do fit on her feet, I cannot recommend them.

It took a lot of patience to get Sophia to stand in these boots and she was not stable in any of the positions that I accomplished. Since I do not chance a nose dive and wrecking my doll’s face up, I do not continue to buy and utilize footwear that will not allow my dolls to ‘free stand’ unassisted in the item.

She cannot stand feet together straight in them.



To get any kind of natural position look, one knee has to be bent and this is very unstable.

Hey all I just got my Tatiana (finally!) and tried on some of the stuff I got from Dollmore & releaserain. I still have a few to try on but I was so excited I couldn't make her do more fitting room stuff so...

MSD - Oulet Skirt (White) - this is way too tight IMO. It looks like it's meant to drape around the hip but because it was so snug the waistline ended up above the belly button Plus forget trying to put panties underneath...

MSD - Short T (White) - this fits great! The straps end up falling on her shoulder joints but otherwise it looks fantastic.

MSD - Fluxus Pants (Sky) - These also fits great.

SD - String Top (Solid Black) - These are too big. It seems like the MSD one will fit much better.

SD - Vivid Colorful Panty (Red) - These fit great except for the crotch area which is a bit bunched up

MSD Dollfie Doll Shoes Engineer Boots Leather Chocolate - I actually got the Yellow PVC version and they fit very well

MSD Dollfie Doll Shoes Low-Cut Cons Sneakers Black - These fit fantastic as well, I got it in blue plaid.

I'll be sure to post more as I get her to try more stuff

EDIT: Also My Tatiana is a Big Bust girl.

 

One of my Anime con friends has a Luts Marguerite Mary set for his Tatiana and it fits perfectly. I'm unsure what bust size his doll is though.

Oh that's too bad. My Aya stands well in these boots. I have to let a bit more space between her feet, but she is stable.

I can't say with any certainty since I don't have this outfit and have never seen it in person, but even though it looks like a stretchy material, a lot of MSD clothing will end up shorter on the JIDs due to their girth. I suspect you could put it on a JID girl, but it would be very, very short. I'm not sure it would be long enough to cover her panties.

 

This dress from Dollmore fits really well, in fact its loose on my small bust Sahara and the socks fit fine as well.

i think it fit's i'm sure i saw a jid wearing it before. it's stretchy so it should fit specially on a small bust. i almost got it for my girls. But if u are unsure there is a similar version for SDs that could possibly fit as well.

 

I am still searching for outfits for my Asa that are sophisticated and grown up like a eid woman would wear.
It seems as though all the mad clothing are very teenage looking and that is not the look I want. Any suggestions?

 

Perhaps you should think of commissioning someone to make it for you? Especially if you have a really specific design in mind. AFAIK besides country themed clothing like Kimono or ballgowns, it's pretty scarce to find adult looking MSD clothes >.<

 

I know, it can be hard to find exacly what u want for jids, that's why i end up sewing , it's cheaper too tsss.
I saw a girl on flickr before that sew some clothes for jid, even swiming wear... have a surch on flickr.

 

That's the Piano dress in SD sized I believe. Melody is a large bust, and the tee that comes with it fits as well.

 

so a lil while ago i had asked about this corset top and then the black skirt paired with the red skirt from KonDoll and now that I finally have my Tatiana i can tell you! the skirts fit awesome and are elastic at the waist. The corset top fits on Tir but doesn't fully close at the back so it shows a lil skin. She is a small bust so don't think it would work on a large bust unless you don't mind the back being open since it laces up. Seriously cute though!

I got this dress from Dollmore. It's been stated before it's a perfect fit, so just throwing this pic in here. I usually adjust the back so it doesn't look super floppy and I love how she looks with it ^ _ ^

And I have no real clue of where this schoolgirl outfit came from. It was a gift from a friend and she too can't remember wherever she got it, so perhaps someone else has seen it around and could point us in the right direction... ?
