I googled japanese fabrics and got this online shop.

Sadly it's Japan based too. It was in France before, but they moved to Japan one or two years ago.

 

My favorite go-to importer of Japanese fabrics is SuperBuzzy! They don't exclusively sell JP imports but they do sell a lot of them. Fabricworm also has a JP imports section. There's also Modes4u but they just changed ownership so I don't know how that's impacted anything.

 

I use AyaneKimonoFabrics on Etsy. She sells sections of silk kimono and tomesode pieces. Quite reasonable for the quality and very beautiful fabric. She's based in the UK.

 

www.kimoyes.com has a lot of vintage Japanese fabrics from kimonos as well as modern fabrics.

 

Nunoya is a store in Barcelona that sells Japanese fabrics as well. The shop itself is amaing, so if you are in Barcelona it is definitely a must visit.
