I really wented one but only show things mostly on DoA so I didn't want to get one if she was off topic.

I was really disappointed by Mui-Chan 3...the faces really weren't anything natural and were great for one expression but not for an everyday look you know what I mean?

 

Thanks Allstar! Her name is Zella. All the other tinies have A names (Ava, Aki, Anju, Aury, and Andi) and she needed to set herself apart As if her attitude didn't already! We have learned in this house -- don't cross a grumpy Mui-Chan!! Or it's bam zoom, straight to the moon with you!

 

Oh, a Mui Chan thread! I love these little ones. Was very tempted by the last release, but I really wanted the normal and grumpy face, and missed out on both when it came time to order.

 

I did have one of the first ones ..but sold her ..could not get used the the scowl ..
then she was sold out of the Neutral faced girl real fast the last release

I hope they make them a bit easier to get next time
I really would like just a smiley faced girl ..and her Brother looks lovely

I really like Mui-chan too - I would love to have one, but I'm thinking there is just too much dolls at home as it is! Lol!

 

hahaha - yes, I know! But the tinies are multiplying sooo fast too! I already have too many on my wishlist as it is *lol* We'll see, though - I love Mui chan's expressions so I might surrender!

Great thing that she got own discussion thread. I was also assuming that she´s off topic, because didn´t find her in here before.

 

I think maybe I thought she would be off-topic since she is made of vinyl and not resin. I'm glad she's been given the okay though because we cannot have too much Mui-Chan!

I wish she were less limited and easier to get too.

 

So she´s not a resin doll after all? Then it might be so that she wouldn´t be on topic after all. But I don´t mind which material dolls are as long as they are cute.

She is gorgeous but she is not made of resin and the website states she is made of plastic fibre

 

I have the first version and the third version and she's not resin, but it is very nice...much nicer than the material the Kish dolls bodies are made of.

I have the first and second version and never realised that she is not resin. Regardless, love the cute, adorable little girl.

 

but resin is a plastic fiber isnt it ?

about resin being a form of plastic
depending on the chemical compound ..its all a bit technical for me

the American Chemical Councils has a good chart ..if you can understand that type of thing
about resin identification codes for recylcleing plastic
..lol I cant ..I just use resin as a medium for my dolls as I like it
once you do resin ..you cant go back LOL

there was a discussion about this years ago too ..the cobwebs of my mind are blowing a bit
and I didnt take much notice of it ...

as lovely as she is if she were ABS ..the same plastic as Hujo , Pullip etc ..she wouldnt be allowed

dont worry sweetie , I have it happen all the time ...they usually say ..usually comes up ..they haven't got an invoice ..which is rubbish half the time , more like they have a ton and a half and havent caught up

What does it say on your tracking about what stage of the process she is at?

 

In that case there is nothing you can do until it says 'released with charges' After which it'll go to yourlocal Parcelforce Depot, at which point I can never stand the wait so I ring them up and pay the charges and collect her myself!! Or they'll deliver the next day. I've tried emailing to say that my item has been stuck in customs without movement for ages to which I have received the standard reply but the tracking then moved within a couple of hours so it's possibly worth emailing (Parcelforce?? I can't remember who I emailed!). Hopefully she won't be much longer for you and will be worth the wait, she's mega adorable!!!

Oh, Koko is wonderful I also enjoy squeeing at them, BabyTarragon! They are much too skinny for my taste but I do so love to see them.

These are adorable. They are sold out on the website and there are only 3 on e-bay and the cost is high. Does anyone know if the website gets new stock quickly? Or maybe another place besides e-bay to purchase one?

Kate2kate -- I would just wait. Ixtee will likely open up another edition that you can purchase directly from them. Just keep an eye on the website. If you're keen, then e-mail them directly about it.

She is so sweet, but man, so hard to find! I want the normal smiling faceplate and grumpy faceplate, but there isn't a set like that.

I think if you e-mail them, then they can put you on their mailing list. I ordered mine directly from the company (but this was before their website was up and running). They put me on a mailing list, so I get to hear about all their new releases.

 

my first one I e,mailed them
but then
I created a membership on the site
then over slept and they had all sold out by the time I got on the site

they will send you an e.mail when they become available ..they sell out very quickly though

 

Another question for you guys- do they email you to let you know a few weeks beforehand what day they will be on sale or will they email you the same day that the dolls go on sale?

I am so anxious. I don't want to miss her. I had bought one from a girl on Flickr, but she never showed up. I don't know if I was conned or if it was stolen at this point. I would like to think people are innocent, but who knows.

I just really want her!
