    1. hi everyone! my name is courtney, she/her, boston-based. i'm new to the hobby—i did an impulse split of a blind box and now i have dan nie from this collection, and i bought a(n admittedly off-topic) tinyfox mjd on my recent trip to japan! i'm super excited to sew and crochet clothes and accessories for her, and hopefully collect more dolls (especially some actual additional ball-jointed ones) soon. in the meantime, i joined den of angels per the recommendation of the bjd subreddit to connect with the community!! my primary motivation was to seek in-person meetups because i'm an incurable extrovert.

      other than dolls, i love crocheting, the color pink, and glitter. i play d&d and other ttrpgs (i even write ttrpgs sometimes!) and i larp (is anyone going to drachenfest), and sometimes i draw. i collect tarot decks (my favorite card is strength) and unicorn shaped or themed mugs.

      i'm pretty willing to share discords if we have interests in common, or you can always just pm me here! i'm so excited to talk with new people and share our hobby!

    2. Welcome to the community! Your art looks really cute and very infused with your interests & personality, it's so charming!

      I wish I had your incurable extrovert-ism, larping sounds like so much fun but I could never haha. Renfaires are the most I can do, and when people try to speak to me 'in character' my brain melts.

      Those blindbox dolls have been getting more and more popular! I think they're a great entry point. I hope you love your Dan Nie :)

      I also play D&D, also BESM and other table-tops. I used to run VTM as well. What kind of tarot desk do you have? I recently got the Nicoletta Caccoli deck. I just love the artwork in that deck, so many adorable dolls and toys.
