It's been a long time! XD

Hello!
Trying to get the hang of this forum, hopefully I'm doing this right ^^;;

Anyway, it's me, ravendolls! >waves lamely<

I'm joining here because I have this absurd fantasy of sculpting a bjd someday!! The reason I have this delusion is that I used to be an art doll maker, and sold my wares through the Rosalie Whyel Museum of Doll Art here in Seattle, WA. I worked in porcelain, and my dolls all had big elf ears (such a surprise, I know)!

But that was over ten years ago, and I haven't touched a lump of clay since!

My old art dolls were very primitive compared to bjd, and sculpting a bjd and its molds and materials are a completely different sort of process. So I just sit on my hands in a permanent state of Enormity Paralysis.

But hopefully I'll be sufficiently inspired and educated here to the point that I can actually make something.
