It's a heat wave! Well, I'm not sure if it's 100% official, but it has been very hot and humid lately. I've been taking it easy, but Eva decided to have some summer fun in her bikini. She's keeping cool with a parasol and some ice cream! The sun peeked out a couple times during this shoot, but it mercifully went behind the clouds a lot of the time. In case of red Xes, find all of the photos in this Flickr album: Eva - It's a Heat Wave
Lol, that healthy, ample Iple body is going to need a much bigger parasol for full-body sun protection! Years ago they used to make small (for us) colorful umbrellas to be clipped onto the back of a lawn chair - would have been a perfect size for a beach vibe for Eva! It's been in the 80's here, aka "feels like" 90. I think I should add 10 degrees for your region? Yikes.
It doesn't lack a single detail to withstand this heat wave. She looks very cute and natural in her bikini. Very nice photos!
@hobbywhelmed Hobby! Long time no see! LOL at the ample Iple body. Even after all these years, I still think Eva's body is totally wonderful I'm glad I took an old friend's advice and got the large bust instead of the glamour bust for her. It's good for helping clothes to fit. That older clip-on umbrella sounds like a good prop for dolls. I wonder if I can find something newer. I would be curious if the handle would be doll-appropriate or if I'd have to mod it. One thing that's good about this one parasol is that the handle fits in Eva's hand. I just checked a weather history for the past week. Earlier last week was in the 80s, but we got into the 90s for the holiday weekend. @Terminus_Est Well, I could've used my mini sunscreen bottle in one of the shots, but just imagine Eva used it off camera Thank you
I know she's resin, but my brain kept going "I hope she has plenty of sunscreen on." At least she doens't have to worry about bug bites.
She wasn't out very long, and it was more cloudy than not. She'll be okay I actually had the doll-sized bottle of sunscreen with me, but I didn't use it. I used it at the last New York City doll meet I went to, though! Anyway, thank you
Wonderful photos. Lucky girl to have not only a lovely figure but mosquito bites never an issue. Sunshine is, so hope she was careful.
Thank you, animemom Yes, no mosquito bites is always a good thing She's blessed, in both form and function. We were careful to get the photos done as soon as possible, so Eva didn't get too much sun. It was cloudy that day which helped a lot.
She looks stunning!!! I love she has a camera and she is like ready to snap pics of the garden !!!! so perfectly posed!!!! Love it
Thank you so much I had a good time posing Eva for these photos. I had to do some tricks to get everything to work out the way I wanted. If I remember correctly, for the shots with the parasol, I had the bottom of a doll stand behind her. Eva would have fallen backwards if I just had her posed like this. I positioned everything so I could hide the stand from view. I may have done some amateur freeware Photoshop in order to remove some of the stand, too. I can't remember. I've had this tiny camera for years. It is a lot of fun for the dolls. Since she was in the garden, I decided she could take advantage of it and do a little photography in her bikini Eva's not a big photographer, but she does it sometimes.
