I've put together a tutorial with free patterns and full instructions for Italian Renaissance style costume to fit SD. The patterns were designed to fit an older Elfdoll, and also fit Supia Rosy. For patterns and complete instructions - Renaissance SD Pattern - Tutorials The patterns and instructions for the headdresses are separate - Renaissance Hats - Tutorial
Wow! Just brilliant!!! Antique Lilac I love your website!! You are soooo talented! Thank you for sharing. I feel in awe but inspired. ☺
Thanks! Have fun making a gown(s) for your doll(s). And if you want to share what you've made, just send me a photo to post in my "Guest's Creative Gallery" where I post photos of thing people have made using my patterns and Tutorials. My email addresses on my website.
Thanks! I figured since I can't really make them myself anymore, and I have zero interest to get into the pattern business, I'd just share them for free. The BJD hobby is expensive enough, and people can use a break.
Your outfits are beautiful, and the tutorials are very clear from what I saw. Thank you for making these available!
Thank you so much for sharing this, I am only just getting in to sewing for my BJD, but one day hope to be able to sew this dress
So..pretty..!! From the renaissance page I looked up your other tutorials and found some things I'd love to try. Thank you for sharing!
ameiru - now you can make your own! jabberwocky92 - you know, it isn't really that hard if you take just one small step at a time melodystarlite - thanks! AkuTnshi - there's lots of things there, and most are quite easy. Best of luck! Agata Z. Jankowska - you are very welcome!
Oh my, these are beyond gorgeous! This dress is still worn during certain festivals in Liguria! Regata Storica dei Rioni di Noli 2012 [8] I am planning to weave a set of traditional Abruzzese costumes, though I am waiting to get a rigid heddle loom first, backstrap looms aren't ideal for bigger projects. If they turn anything like yours, I will be very happy!
I would be ecstatic if anything of mine came out like MB's. She is so talented it is a pleasure to see any of her outfits.
Though the pictures no longer work, the link does. Gosh, those are amazing! I would love love love to try my hand at making one for my girl Mikan, but sadly she's msd ;( Guess I gotta wait till I get an SD girl. (*bookmarks site just in case)
I just checked, and the pictures work just fine for me. They are linked to my website, and unless that server went down, the photos should always be there.
