Shipping Issues with China EMS?

Oct 9, 2023

    1. Recently I had a package ship from clover singing and while Christina's service has been as amazing as always, there's (supposedly) an issue with tracking I'm starting to get worried about.

My package has been stuck for almost two weeks at "aircraft entering the port" or "plane has landed" (as translated in other tracking service) right after it supposedly left Beijing.

Has anyone here had such issue recently? Is it likely the package is stolen? People on China Post forums and reddit have discussed this, though the posts I saw were from 1-2 years ago, and some received their packages after months or never received their packages at all. Can anyone give me any advice?

    2. China post tracking lags sometimes. It usually unsticks for me and starts moving, but I just got a doll from Cloversinging where the tracking never once updated to say she’d moved. She showed up on my doorstep three weeks later perfectly fine anyway.

If it’s making you nervous write Christina and ask her what she thinks. She’ll tell you if it’s normal or not and she’s in a better position to contact them about it if needed.

    3. If it helps, I was waiting for a package from Luladoll that was stuck for a week in Germany, and yesterday the tracking updated as if they had returned the package to Shenzhen (China). I was about to send a message to Luladoll to ask what the deal was, but I received the package today, so I can only assume that there's something wonky going on with the tracking of packages from China. Mine was sent via DPD.

    4. It's less likely that it has been stolen and more likely that it wasn't scanned in properly at one of the sorting centres. It doesn't happen often but with a large volume of packages there are a few that slip through without getting scanned, without this hindering their journey in any way. I'd wait until the estimated delivery time and contact Christina if it's still not there by then, that's probably the best you can do anyway.

    5. I'd also guess it's fine. I've come to expect a minimum of a week of no movement when my packages leave China; it's a thing that always happens with my orders that ship EMS.

    6. I had a similar thing recently with a non-doll-related package-- stuck for almost two weeks at the China post office with no update, then it finally started tracking when it arrived in CA and entered the USPS system. Hopefully you'll soon see activity on your shipment.
