Issues With AOD(AngelOfDream) - Purchased Direct

Aug 6, 2007

1. I received My Freinds AOD body in the mail today- I opened it thinking it was one of my own considering It was an MSD sized box, and was shocked to find her poor boy(well, his body) all scrunched up and stuffed into a box he obviously didn't fit into very well, His knee had even knocked a hole in the top of the box he was stuck in there so awkwardly-
He seemed in pretty good shape besides that, until I took a closer look, and there was little marks all over his body- It looked like mud or something at first glance, I got him into better light, And as kinda gross as it sounds, it kinda looks like dried blood...*_*
She told me to take pictures for her to see what you all think-
These are just some of the more obvious marks, there litterally all over his body...

The way he was stuck in there when i opened the box, I never touched him.

His knee poked right through..... not even any bubble wrap on top.

My camera doesn't pick it up well, but it looks like dried blood @.@

more. agian,way worse in person.

and on his poor bum....

his heels are very badly scuffed....like he's been roughly played with or something

and his wrists, my camera doesn't pick up detail very well, but you can still kinda see the damage...

This Is werid, because she ordered him straight from the company!
It really Is a beautiful Body!!...but very bad shipping....
Im use to Many much bubble wrap and pillows...so this was kind of a shock to say the least ^^;;

I'll take better pictures tomorrow, its dark out here right now so i had to use a lamp.

2. That is seriously messed up!! has she mailed the company and complained?..
I think she should demand a refund because this is totally unexceptable? They should give her a refund or send her a new doll because that is a faulty product in my eyes..

This is random but on one of the pillows in the box my dollzone came actually has a large blood stain on it.. and I thought that was weird at the time but it wasn't on my doll so I had no complaint.. that definately looks like dry blood?..

I think she should demand either a new doll or a refund.. hope all works out for her the poor girl!..

3. she just received him today, But im pretty sure she'll be diong many much complaining....Hopefully AOD is one of those companys that actually listens :doh

Oh gods, Thats kinda weird too! ...maybe they cut themselves sewing the pillow? lol I dunno! Im gad it wasn't on your doll!

4. oh my goodness!
I feel so sorry that you have to go through that..You must've a real bad impression on Aod now.. I reckon you go file a complaint to the company, or ask for them to ship another one over..I hope it gets better for you in the end.. :)

5. The body Is actually my friends, she is out of town so I picked up her mail for her, But thankies<3

6. OH my god my poor baby.....ok I'm emailing the seller and showing this my thread, this is not ok for my boy I mean really...

7. i just wanted to post that i, too, have had similiar experiences with this. i received a body from them for a friend as well, to do work on it, (i'm not sure if she ordered it from ebay or not) it came like this - this was the second body they bought from her and the first one was also the sd sized girl body - it had no problems other than coming in an msd box... but this one was so dirty! like oil or greaase in some places....

the body also has some markings on the stomach and hands like a dull blade was drawn across the resin, cutting out some knicks.

sorry some of the pics are kinda dark ---

hardly any padding on the box or the doll -
[IMG]

the weird markings -

this marking actually had to be sanded off - i couldn't remove it any other way. there was another one on her hand but i didn't get a pick of that...

her arms and legs didn't even fit properly in the joints -

8. That's...horrible. :( I hope the stains and scratches are easily fixed.... Then again, since they're brand new dolls...you shouldn't have anything to fix (at least at that magnitude) in the first place.

9. That's just absolutely horrible... I really feel so sorry for your friend. :( I know my opinion of AOD would be ruined if that happen to me. They are definitely going on my " to be wary of" list...

I hope it works out well for you and that the company sorts it out correctly. :aheartbea

10. did the seller you bought it from say anything about it? Or was it on ebay or from the site?

11. Hm, interesting. I don't know if it is pertinent at all, but I hear it is very hard to find good doll resin in China (according to some Chinese BJD forums). You have to 1) import it, or 2) use an ersatz local version, which, while it may be alright for various other casting purposes, really shouldn't be used for dolls. If you use expensive imports, you have to deal with custom fees, transportation (resin being a hazardous material, is more expensive to transport even on land). Or you send your prototype to a professional shop (but these shops are located mostly along the southern coastal regions, cf issues about transporting resin). And, of course, shops being at some remove from the bjd hobby, not all of them, and then not all employees of each, will understand how much care you must take with each bjd cast.

*Shrug* Just information for those who might be interested, I guess. It may not apply here at all.

12. Sorry to hear about the doll.
After seeing the photos, it seems to me that the resin was not mixed completely.
You described some spots looked like some dried blood, it means that the resin which displays red color didn't completely mixed up with other colors.
so it's not about the resin itself. Resin needs to be kept in a clean place to protect from dust and contaminants.
Anyway, good luck! and hoping you have a good communication with the company.

13. I am really worried now! I have a MSD one on the way- I hope it has not been treated like this!

14. Ah, the resin problem may explain the fragility of my Rao--at least she was spotless, and at least had a pillow to keep her safe! I'm so sorry your body came so spotted--I'd be grossed out, even if it turned out to be just poor resin mix in the end!

15. :o Yikes, that's horrible. I remember seeing other AOD posts and I thought they all came with a cushion. From looking at your pics, it looks like the seller was in a big hurry and didn't put care into packing the body more carfully. Now I'm kind of scared...I really wanted to get my boy head a 1/3 body but now I may have to stick to finding a good deal at Yahoo Japan through Cresent shop.

16. Thank everyone for the help.l I have emailed the seller but I havent gotten anything back yet.

17. well crap, I just bought a boy body on ebay..I hope it comes in better condition than that..or they will be hearing from me and Ebay/paypal.

18. I don't like AOD dolls from the first sight I see the webshop. They look like the memebers of the low quality dolls, so I even don't have a plan to buy any of them. There is no surprise for me when I see these photos.
Before I buy dolls, I will try to hear other buyer's feedback in case of things happens like this.

19. I have an AOD 1/3 body and it's Lovely. It also came in an msd sized box. I received it from another DOA member so I don't know how it was packaged when it came in but I can vouch for it's resin being lovely and the joints fitting together perfectly.

Maybe they had some staff changes or facility changes. Or maybe they're overloaded from orders so their quality is suffering.

I really hope they work with you to make it right. I was thinking of ordering a 1/4 scale chen but now I'm afraid.

Keep us posted!

20. I purchased an AOD body on ebay (1/3 boy body).
It did come folded in the msd sized box, and the outer shipper was just big enough to house the box, so both were dented in shipping.

There was no pillows inside, just bubble wrap (like BrIlLiAnTlYBlOnDe's pic in the first post).

The body was ok, no damage, but it did have some factory like dirt... I don't think their facility is that clean.

I thought the body itself was nice, I liked the shape, etc... the joints don't meet that well (either faulty sculpting or faulty drilling on the inside for the elastic) but it stood right out of the box.

I think it would be a very nice body if I took it apart and sanded it all over. Unfortunately, the color didn't match the CP heads I purchased it for, so I don't know if I am going to do that.

I think they need to pack them better, though...

21. there has been good reviews of the bodies, so people aren't ordering blind, paleQ. They are a new company, yes, so they need to 'bed in' but you have to look at all reviews. I think their main problem seems to be poor packaging for SD and shoddy checking before they send out. I think they are a little over whelmed by the amount of interest- thus quality checks are being overlooked.

I still hope there are no issues with my Chen- but for under £100 you cant expect top quality, but you can expect it packed well and fitted together well and not dirty.

just wanted to say there are good reviews out there that need to be taken into consideration :)

22. As others have said, all the reviews I've seen up till now have been very positive praising the quality of the resin and posability. Ironically, their sudden popularity seems to be working against them in terms of getting dolls out in a timely fashion and maybe a bit in the quality control department. I have a feeling that things will eventually settle down a bit for them, and then it will be easier to gauge them as a whole. I'm waiting on a 1/3 boy, and I admitt, I am a bit worried after seeing the pics, since I don't know if these are a just a few exceptions from that batch, or if there is a larger problem. I guess only time will tell. However, I wouldn't give up on them yet.

23. My 1/3 girl arrived crouched in a too small box. But apart from a couple of very faint marks on her body, they look like when they sanded the seams they were a bit careless, she is perfect.
It sounds to me, as others have already said, they have been overwhelmed by orders.
Give them a chance to reply to your emails. I'm sure they will want to sort this out for you. If only because of the bad press they would get here if they didn't.

24. Ouch, not funny recieving the dolls with spots... I feel so sorry for you
My boy will probably arrive soon, and I really don't want him looking like this! My first BJD (not AOD) arrived mint, but as soon as I put on her pantyhose from mimiwoo, she had dark stains all over her body :( Is this staining a very common problem? Either way, a new doll should NOT look like this, and it might very possibly be a production problem. I have read that many costumers of AOD dolls are happy and that their dolls bodies are very nice, also the sellers on ebay have positive feedback with very few exeptions. I think that the faceups on the website look amateurish and the photos could have been better, but that doesn't necessarily mean that the dolls are bad quality. (My boy is so real to me already, I am upset on his behalf being called "a member of the low quality dolls" :...( ). Ok so it's not a 500USD+++ doll, but I still think that a doll priced 250USD plus all accessories should be of decent quality. I hope the sellers make an effort to fix the problem for you guys, seems like they have been a bit unprepared (ie production issues, many orders etc). Keep us posted as to how it turns out.

25. Well its true is a cheap body, but don't forget that abio angel's childs are cheap too and my boy comes home very well package and protected.
If they want to have the chance of making money with bjd they must think how to improve or reparate their serious problems. Don't forget our hobbie is a luxurious hobbie and they aren't cheap althought they cost 200$!!!

I'm waiting for a boots from AOD..I hope they will be as right I as espect!! in my opinion I won't buy another item of them anymore...because in other spanish forums there's the same problems as doa's users. Too many matters to buy a doll....I preffer to pay a little more and have a good quality item.

26. That is a major heartbreaker. Considering the time it takes to receive them (and then if you have to send them back), I would be really upset to have my body show up with poorly fitting joints, scuffs, markings, etc. Hopefully, AOD will get it together and at least ship the bodies in boxes that fit.

Let us know what you hear back!

27. I have emailed both the seller on ebay and AOD themself, nothing back yet. I really love this body so I am hoping for an exchange or something but I'm not going to pay the shipping back them, thats on their hands I think.

28. I tried that when Volks sent me a Stained dollfie Dream body. They wouldn't pay to have her sent back. I have to. So, i'm just going to wait, and buy a new part. But i swore that this is the last Dollfie Dream i'm buying. It left a very bad taste in my mouth with Volksusa. I guess i'm spoiled by companies that will look at the picture of the damage/staining/flaw and then send out the other part. Even Luts will do that if you can provide a picture of the damage. It turned me off of Volks that they told me i had to send the doll or part back to be exchanged. :: sigh :: I expected them to at least work something so i'm reimbursed for the shipping.

AOD dolls are nice looking, however, i see a number of people defending them by saying "they might be overwhelmed by orders". If that's the case, then you do what any company does when overwhelmed. You stop listing on ebay, and your site, shut down orders, just long enough to finish what's on your plate, then open up orders again.

To me, "overwhelmed by orders" is no justification for sending a shoddy low-quality doll. Seeing this, i'd NEVER buy from them.

29. From what I understand the ebay sellers are actually dealers not the factory itself. (please correct me if someone knows this to not be correct)

But you have a point that the factory could suspend there sales through the website till they're calmed down a bit. It does seem unreasonable to expect people to accept stained dolls or dolls with faulty resin.

I guess I'll proceed with caution as far as ordering more AOD dolls but seeing the quality of the one I have I"m not giving up hope on them.

30. You do have a point... my problem is that I consider my doll to be a person from the moment I order him, and don't want to hurt his feelings, so it really is him that I defend, lol.
(I am sorry, I'm crazy-doll-person). I totally agree that it has been a very messy introduction of these dolls; long waiting time (Aution promised shipping within 1 week in june, but my doll was shipped aug 1), merchants making scenes in public, too small boxes, bad wrapping, unfitted, crude bodies with spots on them... Makes me very nervous about the condition of mine. Basically I found a pretty boy at reasonable price on ebay, and ordered without knowing about these issues. It all confuses and disappoints me, as the first reviews that I read were positive, saying the resin, stringing and sanding was excellent! *_* Seems like they don't handle the increase of orders very well, and you are absolutely right comicbookartist- they should focus on the presentation and quality of the dolls, and put orders on a hold instead of making people wait for a made-in-a-hurry-and-slammed-in-a-box doll. Cause my impression was that the dolls in the beginning were nice quality, and I just felt it was unfair to judge the quality of a doll simply based on not liking their look on the website. I don't believe that I will consider buying another AOD before this mess settles, but I really hope my doll will arrive today, in good shape... :atremblin

31. I agree that the presentation appears to be poor- especially for the 1/3 dolls, it is like they are saving money by not making pillows and by not buying two box sizes! Something that will backfire on them. I don't understand why someone thought it a good idea to put big dolls in a small box!

hope my boy comes through okay- he is msd so won't be cramped in a tiny box.

These all sound like problems they can sort out. Let's hope they do!

32. It is so shocking to hear that the quality of those dolls seems to have decreased at the moment. My 1/3 boy which was one of the earlier orders had arrived in perfect condition and carefully packed in bubblewrap plus big silky cushion. True, he was actually crouching in an MSD sized box - but I didn't mind at all because smaller boxes usually slip through customs.
I think those quality issues shouldn't be explained with the lower price.

But really, a higher price does not necessarily mean a great quality. I have recently got a body from Luts which has VERY bad seams and was so loosely strung that I had to shorten each and every string. And THAT is a body for $ 475,-!!! It stains very easily, too...

33. BrIlLiAnTlYBlOnDe, I have my soul in the floor for see this.... *hugs* You have all my support.

Is not right that you pay and you wait with all the illusion of the world so that they send something like this to you. As for me, I am dessapointed by the treatment that had with me. I only wait for the reimbursement that they promised me to never have treatments with them anymore. Somebody tellme "hysterical" but, with this i hope that understand how i feel.

http://www.denofangels.com/forums/showthread.php?t=151158

If you need something, sendme a PM ^^

comicbookartistboi, you're right 100%

34. My 1/3 body came wrapped in bubblewrap in a shipper about his size. No other box/cusions. The box looked horrible, but he was just fine. (The only thing that happened was that the s-hook was stuck in the side of his neck.) Besides I have no clue how he's going to be packed up when I move soon I'm pleased with him.

35. sounds like they have run out of boxes!

36. Oh, it's not excusing them if there's a problem--If my doll comes with serious problems, he will most likely end up being sent back for a refund or replacement. Hopefully AOD will learn from these experiences and improve the way they handle shipping/lots of orders. At the same time, companies are run by humans and nothing run by humans operates perfectly 100% of the time. Even well known and respected companies have their problems.

Right now, it's not possible to say what is a fluke (with the resin, I mean. The boxes they should be able to easily correct no matter what), and what is a larger problem, because there isn't a large enough sample to judge from. So far the vast majority have received dolls that whose quality is very high, so we'll see what happens.

37. The dirt thing: I have had many dolls arrive from China, both new and used that are dirty.... not just ordinary handling dirt (which one wouldn't expect to find on a brand-new doll anyway), but like a fine coating of soot! I think a lot of cities in China still use coal... it's bad to have that arrive covering your doll and the bubblewrap etc that comes with, but dang, I felt worse for the people who have to live there. Can you imagine? D-:

As for the "blood stains" That's kind of scary!!

Raven

38. I got a reply today

"Dear customer,
Sorry for the package issue. If you like, can you return it to us?We will send you a new one.The blood and marked up things may be caused by the Custom checking process. The Custom will open the parcel when the package go to your country.Or if you like,we would like to send you 50$ for the issue.Or you can let me know what we should do to solve the problem.
Best regards.
Alan"

I donno about the stains though, every customs worker I've head of wears gloves, so I really dont think its customs fault, but. SO Now I have to decide if I want to use that $50 and send him back so they can send me a new one or keep him as is.

39. I made the same experience as you with bad package, stains and a very poorly done face up, and my doll was order # 10. The bodyshape itself looks great, he poses well, but the stains are not very appealing. I didn´t say anything cause he was only 150$ (compared to other company´s prices). But I wouldn´t order from AoD again.

40. Not only that, but if customs had opened the box, and customs officials even suspected those marks were dried blood, the box and all it's contents would have probably been destroyed! 0_0

Too much risk of blood borne diseases from one country being spread among either human or livestock populations in another country for customs to take a chance.

Even dried blood on the box or on the pillows would probably result in customs confiscating and destroying the package and its contents.

41. O.o That really does look like dried blood! [and I know pretty well what dried blood looks like on resin, after my Yugiri bit me when I tried removing the hot glue from the inside of her head >.>].
I hope you contacted the company about this- even when ignoring the horrible packaging, it's really not a condition for a brand net doll to be in. This is overall pretty darn unprofessional, imho.

42. o.o! It's totally unacceptable. They're cheaper, sure, but 175$ is still 175$...!

Were you able to remove it with water? If not, then it's probably not blood. It's probably, as someone else stated, bad-mixed resin. But it's still unacceptable.

That's exactly the reason why I'll never buy a doll just because it's cheaper. I prefer to pay more and be sure to pay for quality.

43. Wow :o that is really unfortunate!

I think, though... it's important to remember AoD is a fairly newer doll company and will undoubtedly have kinks to work out (most of the big name companies so popular around here have their problems too from time to time!). I think that it is a very good sign that they're communicating with customers though and willing to fix the problems that occur with their products. Hopefully it will be a learning experience for AoD that they can use to improve the quality of out-going products and ensure their customer satisfaction. .... And... get bigger boxes.... :sweat

(And I'm not in any way saying this to belittle your experience or say it's no big deal because it is - a severely flawed dolly can be REALLY disappointing :(. Hope everything is sorted out for you soon!)

44. If paying more always got you more quality, I'd agree with that, Piu-Piu :)

I have the lovely Kaoru on an AoD body. About the only complaint I have with it is that it took nearly forever to get her shipped, in spite of the auction stating it would be out within a week. The packing material was iffy, but... frankly, as long as there is no space for things to be flopping around against each other I'm not horribly distressed by no pillows.

This body is maybe a little "big-boned" for the head that's on it, but that's not the company's fault. Maybe I just lucked out and got a nice quality body? At any rate, I'm quite pleased with it. The hands are just lovely. I was pleased enough to go back and buy a 1/4 sized boy body, so we'll see how this experience shakes out.

45. I don't think that the doll body itself is of poor quality...I think it looks nice and the resin seems good.

It is more an issue with quality control when it comes to the assembly and packing. They need to be sure that everything is clean, and padded properly. And they need to check that poorly cast or damaged parts are sent back.

Even if they use bubble wrap instead of pillows, I thought it needed more, considering the box was small for a 1/3 size body...if the box got crushed in the wrong spot, there would have been nothing to protect the doll except two layers of bubble wrap.

Luckily, the body I got, aside from some smudges (that do NOT look like blood :ablah:) was in good condition with no major scrapes or chips. The box was crushed in one spot, but not near the body mass so it escaped damage.

Still, even if they offer to replace the doll, it is a pain to have to go through sending it back because they don't monitor their packing process.

46. Katasha, I do think you should sent it back and get one new and CLEAN. This is a rip-off, they're cheap but NOT free, so if you're paying for something I guess you have the rights to get it in perfect condition.

What a shame those people are making the people who bought them something get crazy!

47. Today I recieved my MSD size Chen.

Yuan Cheng Ru was packed in an AOD box and in an outer box too. He had cushions but no bubble wrap or face cover. This is not too good as his face could have been damaged. He was fine though, one knee bent a little odd though.

Quality... for the price- excellent. the sanding is a little sloppy but it IS sanded well, no visible seam lines. There are a few marks, tiny, very tiny, not that noticable, generally a sanding shiny bit or tiny scratch- nothing that noticeable at all.

Face up wise it is amateur, about as good as I can do, but I spray from a little further away, there are miniscule bubbles around the eyes from spraying too close and a small smudge above one eyebrow. There is also a tiny bush hair caught in the msc on his chin- it is bothering me but is not noticeable unless pointed out. Remember this is free- then it all seems fine!

Inside the doll it is not carved smoothly, but it does seem of even thickness for the channels- not the smooth quality you get in a more expensive doll, but passable for one this price- no thin patches so no undue pressure.

Stringing- fine, one leg a bit loose/ kicky. you can get some fantastic tiliting on the head!

No idea how to get the headcap off! Still waiting on that one! Someone will have done it who can give answers! No need to actually take it off anyway at the moment.

overall- VERY pleased with him!

I waited 3 weeks for him, as Alan (Sky numbers) on ebay didn't have normal skin in stock.

If they get their packaging right, things will improve, they need to learn they need bubble wrap AND cushions and need to buy bigger boxes for SD size!

But yeah, generally a positive review for them, for under £100 including EMS shipping, this doll is well worth the money! He has been bought with the intention of leaning to blush and drawing tattoo's and a doll this cheap is a great starting point for anyone- if you want resin, he costs less than an obitsu.

So yeah, my little Buddhist monk, Yuan Cheng Ru is a hansom young man!

48. My Aedan arrived with pillow and bubble wrap but scrunched up in a too-small box. It took more than a month for him to ship, although the auction site promised a week. There was no CoA. The resin quality and sanding are good, but there is a 1/8 inch gouge in the top of his neck where the S-hook, which is too big, bent over and dug into it. It is visible and I will have to sand.

So, mixed review here. Good doll, good resin, bad packing.

49. Littlepinkfaery--My headcap was held on with the S hook that holds the rest of the stringing--at least I *assume* so, because my Rao came with her head off and there was no other obvious connector to put the head on, and my own test rubber band (connecting the resin hook on the headcap to the S hook) made the head too loose on the neck. But once the headcap is connected to the S hook that baby is on TIGHT. You can get some slack to get it off by removing a foot, but that is a little exciting too--it takes some extra strong string to keep tabs on the leg elastic, and my channels were small enough I had to use picture wire.
Victoria Victrix--how was your head held on? My S hook was big to grab the resin hook (I thought:-0) Bummer about no COA--I didn't get one either, which means next time I am ordering from the website nextime (insert growly face here).
Oo, arrival pics? Must go check and see!

50. Aedan came head-off. I am going to probably put in a smaller s-hook and make a second connection to the headcap with a heavy ponytail elastic.

51. This is rather disturbing.
I bought an AoD body from a DoA member. While it came in the MSD box, it was packaged nicely, and the body was incredibly nice.
I needed to sell it for funds for another doll I was buying, but I seriously contemplated keeping it as the quality was great (though the joints were rather squeaky), and the body was just lovely. I liked the hands and I still rather wish I had kept it.
They're a new company. I say give them time to fix all these problems.

52. Hee hee.... I"m glad you sold it. ;)

Don't worry he seems pretty happy here... especially now that he has a head :)

I agree that he is a great body and I'll definitely look at buying a girl AOD for my floating Nanuri head (if the size fits ok)

53. I bought a Gu head from AoD and i have to say that the quality of resin is not good enough... he is full of bubles everywhere,he was full of bubbles throughout, in the cheeks, around the ears, in the nape, inside the head and it has resin pieces within the ears and I had to sand them so the ears have a "natural look" (dunno how to explain...)

And before we receive the package, we were waiting 2 months for it. They forget to add some items, because that we had to send emails and wait again, and some items like boots were squashed because they were not well packed.

I´m sure i will never buy again in that shop...:barf

54. My 2nd doll was AoD (brought from renaissancefashion on ebay) and he was packaged well, no marks, no blood stains, and he came very very fast.

I have 3 AoD dolls now and I have no trouble with them :/

55. these posts are pretty old; are the 3 you bought newer than this? id like to know if AoD has picked up from this ^^

56. I ordered my AOD Rao at the beginning of January and got her around 2 1/2 weeks later. She was well packaged in bubble wrap, a cushion, and a face mask and she was clean. I love her to death and I really don't have any complaints except that they didn't send her with the eyes I wanted but thats ok I'm going to get them this weekend. My friend ordered her AOD An around a week after I ordered my girl and got him around the same time I did and has no complaints.

I'm planning on ordering from them again. :aheartbea

57. I don't have an AOD doll, but I will vouch for Jack (rennaissancefashion on ebay). My B&G Freya was shipped quickly and came double-boxed (her personal box with BG logo and the shipping box and in the appropriate size) with bubblewrap and cushions/blankets and neat extras! (she came with a cheap dress. It was not in a style I would like, but that doesn't mean it wasn't nice, plus the wig and eyes were free.) My doll was in EXCELLENT condition. There were no scratches or marring and she was well strung.

Jack is an excellent vendor. Any future AOD purchases should be made through him. Great communication and shipping so fast that it surprised me.

58. I bought an AOD last October and he arrived safe and sound. He was packaged well, clean, and came with a bunch of extras. I got him from Junkyspot. They are super!

59. I bought my Naomi from a seller on eBay. She came quickly, was packaged well, but was dirty. All the marks came off with a magic eraser though. Also, I didn't get the wig I ordered for her. I got a blonde mullet wig instead of brunet pigtails. There's also some marks around the ankle....slots, I guess they would be, but that could have come from me having no idea how to take her apart. ^^;;; I got her right before Christmas, about two weeks after I bought her.

I would still most likely buy from AoD again if I found another one that suited my fancy. ^^;

60. some of the stains on the body yes do look like dried blood especially the one on the leg.

And AoD is going on my to be wary of list. I'm sorry for your friend...that has got to stink.
