Shipping Issue with BJDivas shipping

Apr 29, 2025

    1. Hey, has anyone ordered from BJDivas recently? My husband ordered something in stock from them at the end of March from them. It took a few weeks for them to even give us a tracking number. It has been stuck in pre-shipment according to USPS since 4/11.

We have reached out several times and been told this:

"I'm so sorry for the delay, couriers have been pretty slow with getting our stuff moving since the tariff craziness. I've been calling them on the regular, and they finally got part of a batch moving, so hopefully yours won't be much longer."

It's been nearly a week and still nothing. Their response seems very weird to me, especially since we are also in the US. I feel like I am being scammed.

Has anyone else had any experiences with them?

    2. BJDivas are notoriously slow with shipping, even for in-stock items. They are understaffed and inefficient, and their excuses are always dodgy. There's no reason the tariffs would have any impact on couriers within the US. So far, people have been getting their items from this dealer eventually - but it takes a long time. But be careful complaining about it publicly, since BJDivas like to put customers that annoy them on blast, by name, on their facebook. I hope you get your order soon!

    3. My order with them was a few years ago but it also took a similar timespan to receive the tracking number and then a while to have the item shipping ready. Unfortunately, they found out then that the item was damaged and I never received the order but did get my refund immediately. From looking at their feedback, it looks like people have been having very similar experience with them for years, so the delay is not necessarily tariff-related.

It might be worth waiting while you still have PayPal protection because people have received their good eventually, but I do agree it's annoying how long it takes.

    4. @elisa_maza Thank you for your reply and the warning. I wish I had known before my hubby ordered. He is upset because it is my birthday today and he thought he had ordered in plenty of time to get here in time. He hates not having something to give on the actual day, even though I've told him a million times waiting is a necessity in this hobby. :sweat I may have just ordered the item myself and waited if I had known and given him some other idea.

@cobaltconduct Thank you for the reply! I will tell him we can wait longer, I know he has been considering canceling the order. I would really still like the item though.

    5. My last orders were in the "Pre-Shipment-Phase" for around 3 weeks each. In the end everything arrived safely :3nodding:

    6. I honestly think they only ship once a week, if that. While it may take longer than expected, it will get to you.

    8. Some dealers sell items that are “in stock” at the company, it doesn’t mean the dealer has it. So it takes time to ship from the company to the dealer, then to you. Dolk US does it too, it’s like they are a buying agent rather than buying directly from the dealer if that makes sense. Dealers that do that and say it is “in stock” should put a disclaimer that it means it’s in stock from the company.

    9. @NineOneThree Thanks for that, I did not know that!

I don't think that was the case here, though. The package was ready, I had the tracking and everything since 4/11. The post office just didn't receive it.

Speaking of which, I consider the matter now resolved. I checked the tracking this morning and it has finally started on its way to me!

Thanks for the input everyone! I super appreciate it!

    10. I think all of BJDivas' in stock wares are actually in their warehouse, there are items that have been listed for forever. It's just getting them out to the customers what takes time.

@LiselT - I'm glad your package is moving! I hope it arrives swiftly!

    11. I have an Oder of “instock” items that I placed over a year ago. They also gave me the same excuses about tariffs and shipping times etc. which makes no sense for items that are supposedly already here. I wish I had been able to read posts here on DoA before i ordered, would not have placed any orders with them. A few weeks ago, they sent me a letter (tracked) that was a copy of a receipt and their cancellation policy. PayPal marked the order as delivered so I had to call and talk to them. PayPal was not happy and said that they would investigate since that is a violation of their policies. PayPal would not give me a refund though
