Island Doll resin matches

Does anyone know if any of the island doll colors match either b&g NS or Luts RS?

 

I'm interested in if any of Island Doll's white skins match Soom's Cream Skin.

 

I had an Island Doll Amy quickly pass through here.

Her resin color was the default Island environmental. All I know is that she did not match 2009 DOD NS, 2009 Dolkot WS or 2009 FelixDoll Bisque.

If anyone would like to see pictures of that color, please PM me and I'll track them down for you.

Bump to see if any Island Doll skin tone matches Kid Delf in either Real Skin Normal or Real Skin White.

I only can help with showing you the difference with Fairyland and Soom whites:

Soom White Appini head + Island Doll Milk White body. ID white is clearly more warm and creamy shade though in person the difference isn´t this clear.

Seems that Fairyland has it more pure white and ID more creamy, but still the difference isn´t big really. Two pics are taken in different lighting.

Does anyone have an Island Doll and ResinSoul match? *hopeful* The 'Island' skin tone looks really close to RS's NS...Or is it just me?

 

Bumping this to see if any of the Island doll colors might come sort of close to Luts/CP Normal Skin? Thinking of getting the MSD boy body for my Breakaway head.

Island doll's 'Island' skin tone in the enviromental doesn't match ResinSoul Normal Skin nor does it match Ringdoll Pure Normal (which is very yellowy). Island has a very pinkish tone while Resinsoul's NS is a very pale color, the differences in the resin also make it difficult to match, Island is a bit translucent.

 

Would Dollmore White be a match to Island Doll Milk White?

 

What about Island Doll and Iplehouse Normal, or LUTS Real Skin Normal?, any help, please??

 

I'm interested in knowing about tan skin matches too. Comparisons with Resinsoul light tan would be of especial interest!

 

Does anyone know if the Island doll milk white or snow white match Dollzone white skin? Thanks so much!!!

 

Here is my comparision of Island Dolls itself and Island + Dollzone.

Airis - I am not sure is White DZ will match White ID, DZ white body on my pictures is quite old, but as I noticed DZ is more creamy and Island is "blue" white (if you know what I mean)

I'm interested in knowing if Island Doll matches DIM resin colors.
I have a normal DIM Odelia and was thinking of getting her either a normal or island colored body
but have yet to find a comparison. If anyone has any pics I'd love to see them!

 

I am interested in getting a Heisejinyao HZbjd normal skin head and putting it on an Island Doll 62cm or 65cm body.

I know that Dikadoll normal yellow matches Heisejinyao pretty well. What I would like to know is if any of the Island Doll resin skintones are a good match for Heisejinyao normal resin skin or Dikadoll normal yellow skin.

I had a ID Amy in normal skin for a little while, and she was much pinker then my HZ boy. The only picture I have of them together is from my DragonDoll box opening, and Kai's head is a little over-zealously blushed, but I think you can get the idea:

I have an Island Doll Amber, and I have only seen a few other dolls, but none of their resin colors matched mine. I have the normal skin tone.

 

Thank you so much! That helps a lot! Apparently the heads I am interested in are a bit lighter than the HZ normal skintone, but not the white. I wonder if the island skintone will be a better match. I have an ID Amy in normal and an ID Wallace in island on order. I'll probably just order the heads and then post the comparison results here.

Im looking to match current Unoa resin to island doll skin tones.

 

Here's my Kiyan portrait bjd----a DZ 70cm Yuu NS 2007 head on an Island Doll 2011 NS 65cm body. The skintone was way off (ID much MUCH lighter than the 2007 NS DZ head) but once I blushed the body, it was a pretty good match:



My DZ 2007 NS was really dark skintoned, so maybe the newer DZ skintones would match better at the start, but with a thorough blushing, even with the really mismatched skintones, it's really not that noticeable anymore, particularly in person. ^^

 

I can help some with this. I have two Island doll yo-sd sized bodies. I love them!


In the Soom Appini thread myself and one other were waiting for our Island doll bodies for the heads, she got the Milk white and I got the standard white as you can see mine matched. The milk white was too white, but the standard white matched:


And this is my Chibi Unoa Rorin face plate on an island doll body. I made a yo-sd sized head back for him (I thought he'd look good on a yo-sd sized body) I was lucky enough to already have this island doll body and it matched so I used it. I believe the color is normal:

Another hopeful bump! From the company's pictures it looks like island or neutral beige may match Fairyland NS but I'd love some input from any one who have seen these in person!

The Island doll tan is a little lighter but the biggest difference is that it's more red-brown while the Limhwa is more of an orange-yellow.

 

So could you say from the pictures that the island doll standard normal resin was a good match with the dollzone normal pink?
I'd be very interested to see how the different island doll normal skin tone, island and neutral beige match with the resins of popular companies.

 

It seems like someone on here was trying to match milky/creamy white island doll to other white dolls. Island Dolls milky/creamy white is definitely a little creamier/yellowy than their snow white. I have a snow white Island doll Aggie so can I assume that because it's a more pure white that it will match the other white dolls mentioned?? Any help would be wonderful since it's been hard to find people who have island dolls, especially ones with snow white skin.

 

Since I read it before that Island doll 'island' and Ringdoll 'pure normal' do not match, I'd like to mention that that is NOT true.
Perhaps with batches back then, but I just put my Shukaku in 'island' resin next to my Kyo in 'pure normal' resin and I think it's a damn close match.
Not even visible or noticeable unless you look closer, then you'll notice that the RD color is a notch darker or more yellow, but with a bit of blushing that too would be taken care off.

When you are referring to "standard" white are you talking about "snow" white?? Because that's the resin color I have. It's whiter than the "milky" white.

 

Will island doll match elfdoll or CP/fairyland normal? Or more specifically, which skin tone will come closest? I'm guessing either "island" or "normal pink" (the non-environmental resin for both) but any photos?

Don't have the pic on hand at the moment, but I do have one.

 

Ringdoll Pure Normal? I'm not sure what Island Skin is supposed to look like, but if they are a match, that would actually work pretty well for me, too.

This is a little odd, but can anyone compare ID tan or sunburned to cinnamon Nendos? I have an on-topic head coming in that matches it and I'm hoping to avoid having to get the body custom.

 

Anyone know a good ID tan skin match? A company that would offer 26-30cm bodies preferably?
