Island Doll, Hidden Island No.1

    1. She's here! My odd girl named Scraps. One look and I knew she needed to join my crew. She has a definite DC vibe, but also so unique attributes. That smile!

      I ordered her May 4th (first day she was released) from AC. She was shipped July 4th (two months!), and arrived July 7th.

      Scraps is an Island Doll, Hidden Island No.1 in Island skin. She is 47cm tall with her spindly legs. The platform shoes are really nice. I won't have to try to find shoes for her! clothing, will be another issue as her chest is Barbie sized, and her hips are msd. Not to mention her super thin legs and arms.

    6. @kurogane now that she is home, perhaps I may ask a little favor of you :eusa_pray
      I was wanting to get extra normal feet for her so I can use a variety of shoes, however because she is soo thin I'm unsure how other companies feet will match up proportionally/color/ankle joint... so if you are able and willing, perhaps you can provide a bit of insight into the matter??:wiggle

    7. @HeadHunterer oh, sure! I was wishing she had optional foot parts too. I will take measurements of the foot ball and joint. Her color is a little darker than most normal skin tones, but pretty close to Fairyland 2018. I’ll be back with the measurements!

    9. @HeadHunterer I got the measurement! The leg joint takes a 15mm ball. It is too big for my DZ 27cm feet, but it looks like my DC k-02 male msd body is the closest fit. I will look into the DC msd female feet as they would be a little smaller and dainty. As for color, the closest I have is DZ 2012 normal yellow. It is just a little more yellow, but the right tone. I havent seen the new DZ/DC skin tones, maybe they are closer. Here is a picture of the foot from the side.

    10. @kurogane thank you, I suspected doll chateau would be the closest proportionally, she is going to be my second doll, and I didn't want to buy a bunch of feet and end up wasting money:chomp:
      So if you find one that works well I will try to go for what you do:kitty1

    14. @HeadHunterer those look good! I know Resinsoul does resin matching, so the feet could be matched perfectly. Or I’d just get normal as shoes would cover them anyway. I was having troubles finding companies that sold just feet without having to ask. Plus RS only takes a couple months to make the order, unlike a six month wait for DC.

    18. Wow! I haven't seen this doll before... She's amazing. She would be perfect for a spindly twig pixie character of mine. Please post if you figure out feet for her.

      Also does anyone know if they plan to make more in this style? I would want 2 but would prefer them to not be the exact same sculpt

    19. @whooganana I’m wondering the same thing. Since she is named No 1, I’m hoping there will be a No 2, maybe more! I was just going to leave the feet as is, but the more I look at them, the more I want to change them out. I’m seriously thinking Resinsoul as they will sell feet separately and only charge $12. I need to go look at their girls feet and pick a size and color.

    30. @kurogane not sure if you got her feet or not, but I got mine and they work well for what I want... leekeworld D type feet... the ankle piece fits perfect and the foot length is good for me at 4cm because I didn't want long 6cm duck feet...

    31. @HeadHunterer thank you so much for this info! I did try another female msd foot, and it’s too big, so I kind of gave up, but this info gives me hope. I will look into getting a pair as I really want mis matched socks and real shoes for my girl.

    34. @Invader_Rafax Sorry, my other msd dolls are all unusual. Scraps is sitting next to my DC k-02 and DF-A hybrid, and they look good together as both have a long, skinny body and big heads. Scrap’s body is very similar to DC in style.

    38. @XMariellaX I used a 6/7 wig and it barely fits (it might be the wig style). I have not tried a 7/8 wig as I thought they would be too big. Her head is big, but it looks fine with her body style. Congratulations on getting your own No. 1! What resin color did you pick?

      She just arrived this morning! Shes both floppy and kicky? :nowords: Will have to get used to her legs flailing all over the place lol not had such a thin doll before

      The box they sent her in is so nice!
      Don't see any sanding marks on her at all, she's just a very nice eggshell all over.
      Will definitely need sueding though, she really likes to flop all over the place
      She's too small for the invisible stand that Alice carries.

    44. Wanted to share in case anyone was still looking for feet for this girl.
      Here are DF-H 1/5 feet, heeled and flat.
      Resin match for white is pretty good, df-h is a little more pink.
      The hook they give you is a little too wide for her leg channel so you can squish them with some pliers.
