I hope I am putting this in the right place. I'm so frustrated. I placed an order with Fairyland last week and instead of Paypal, they sent me an invoice to be paid with "Eximbay." I registered, put in my cards, even registered with the Verification by Visa they asked for. It keeps denying my charge. We have double checked and the money IS in the account. So far I have spent over 4 hours on the phone trying to fix this. Does anyone know what's going on? I was able to finally leave a message with Fairyland letting them know about the problem, but wasn't able to get into my account over the weekend to do so. Is there something I could be missing? Do they take 5 days or more to verify the card at Eximbay? I did email them too and I've had no response. If this can't be resolved I cannot order from Fairyland anymore which would be a tragedy. Thanks everyone, Cat
My husband and I had a LOT of issues using eximbay for my fairyland order, too. The first thing we found, was that we had to call our bank/credit card company and tell them to allow/authorize the charges, and once we had made that call, pay for the order again. Then, about a week later, the money mysteriously RETURNED to our bank account for about another week, before the charge FINALLY went through. I will NOT pay them via Eximbay again. You can contact Fairyland and ask them to send you the invoice through Paypal instead. If your charge still hasn't gone through, I'd recommend doing that, instead.
Thanks for this; I just got my invoice I said to use eximbay which I haven't used before as I don't have a CC. I hoped to pay them through Paypal so I have emailed them to ask them to do that *fingers crossed*
I am so sorry you are habving trouble with Fairyland. To avoid this I have bought my 4 Fairyland dolls from either Denver Do0lls or Doll Pedellar. If they have them in stock, I receiive them in a few days. If not, the order them and I pay the store here in the U.S.
This is the first time I've tried to order anything straight from Fairyland... This is weird, and yes, it looks like I will have to be contacting my bank in order to let them know that, no, no one is trying to steal my money from me. :P Whhhhyyyy are they using this system, now? Paypal is so much friggin' easier. On top of all that, apparently this Eximbay doesn't allow Discover Cards... SL:LKJSDF:....
