I'm Solo's owner, a Nur in peanut skin He is soooo lovely. Just keep in mind he is a bit tall and wide than other MSD, so just buy baggy clothes they will fit great on him I can't wait to see photos from your own Nurs

Still deciding on the colour of wig I want for my toffee boy. He is going to be called Angus and he has a little pet 'fae' monkey would you believe, all ready and waiting for him called Crusoe!
In case anyone was wondering why those names were chosen, they were taken from the character s in the film 'the Water horse'. My Angus will be the protector of his little magical monkey from discovery by the world in general, just like the boy in the film protecting his sea monster

 

Awww, Sal is going to be wonderful, I'm sure! I can already imagine him going about on his little adventures~ What kind of fur wig are you on the hunt for @Kodakid I have the same issue though... I'm getting so impatient... OTL I just want my boy already!!!

I managed to settle on a name as well, finally! We're going with Sage (Seiji) which amuses me since the mohair I got for him ended up being a lot more pure green and less teal... and out of a stroke of sheer luck I managed to get my hands on one of three girls that are associated with him on the mp just the other day! (with the other two having a strong likelihood of ending up with me this year it would seem!) Sage's milkshake brings all the girls to the yard... or something...

I have bought some Castlemilk Moorit sheep's fleece in its raw state (it needs cleaning and washing and is currently in the garage as it stinks to high heaven). I plan on processing it, and then dye it to make Angus a wig. It is a big project and a first on all levels, so we will have to see how it turns out. He will probably end up with a bought wig yet, but I so want Angus to look quirky and this wig if it works will definitely be that lol

 

Does anyone know if Nur will have another pre order? I just found him, and I'm in love >.<

 

@Saraht Good luck with your fleece! I get raw angora most of the time too since it's so much cheaper than getting it processed and although tedious it's a rewarding process for me. I hope you have fun with it! Really excited to see some progress on that when you make any!

@sadrabbit I wouldn't call it impossible but I wouldn't count on one anytime soon either. I feel your pain because I missed the first sale entirely since he sold out so fast... That was in mid 2014 and it took almost two years for us to get another...

 

I really need to get a move on with making the wig now for my 'Angus', as I think the Nur's, will soon be on their way home! I can't wait. I am slightly apprehensive I will admit, as he was an impulse purchase and I truly hope that I will bond with him when he arrives!

He is here and i am completely smitten! I think i mentioned that i was a little apprehensive as to whether or not i would bond with him....well it was love at first sight. His face-up is beautiful and i love his resin colour. I opted for the Toffee.

I probably should have taken more note of your advice. I bought quite a few TTYA msd items for him. The Dungarees and tops are fine, if not quite as baggy as i would have liked, but his jeans and shorts are a little too tight sadly. Never mind, they will await use in the future!

A friend of mine bought today a pair of short jeans at the Pink Dolly Day an event in Barcelona for her Nur and they fit so nice! I'll ask her the name of the shop... I don't remember now... sorry :3

You're welcomed! Well, mine wears MSD size boots and they're nice (I'm not sure if I can share the link here...)! With no socks tho, I use fake socks, more like warmers-like

Thank you Re the shoes, he can keep wearing socks for now. He is happy enough and doesn't mind! You may remember that i was in the process of making him a wig. Well, the Castlemilk Moorit wig i made for him was too large and looked too big and bulky on him. It will be fine on a larger featured doll though, so not a waste of time thankfully. I made him this wig today instead from Teeswater locks (should have been doing the housework but hey ho!)

I saw your photo of your Nur holding the little creature in the ID Flickr group and now he can take it with him wherever he goes.

 

Can anyone with a Nur give some measurements. The website doesn't give chest, waist, hips or neck dimensions. Would be helpful in finding clothes to fit. Thanks in advance.

The jeans is from Nine9 Style... but the jeans is actually a bit too short for Nur so I had to hide the fact with the boots. ^_~
(But the jeans fits very well at the waist and this is why I'm still using the too short pants on my Nur).
The boots I got from someone secondhand and I think it was a no name product (sorry).

 

Thanks for information. The jeans loo great, and I did the same for my Dollshe boys, as my SD13 boy jeans fit them but we're of course to short. But tall boots covers that fact very nicely.

Well seems Charlie alone wasn't enough. I have just purchased another Nur to be his twin brother. I am so excited about the photos and times we will be spending together. I have had twins before, two Dollshe Bernards, and two Dollstown 7 year kids, back when they still made the 7 year boy body. So a boy, Arin and a girl, Seola. But both over three years ago. So now a set of twins,both boys. Not sure they can be identical as I don't have another red head wig. But maybe this new guy will be more of a rebel. We shall see.

 

Congrats to your second Nur. I was also almost tempted to buy a second one for my boy in milkshake skin (but I didn't had the funds). ^_~

Thanks. He's been shown here in thread with the cute monkey creature. Toffee. Both my boys are that skin tone. I was hoping to find one in milkshake so they could just be cousins, but since same skin tones will be brothers instead.

Who is Suichi.....i have not heard that name before but i am intrigued?....

 

She was created from 2007 to 2015, a work in progress. The final result is a very sweet face, but at time would only work on the Dollstown Elf body. Why she never pursued getting her done for sale, no clue and she hasn't responded on Flickr to any of my posts.

Parker, my girl Nur will be attending an all girl school with uniforms. She has her's and was eager to try it on for fit. a little loose, but it fits just fine.
Parker used to be called Merida, but we both agree Parker suits her better.

( Uniform was skirt, short sleeved shirt and sweater vest. It has more parts but was for a SD DD Girl. Who I sold and was planning to sell this. But glad it was still here. Shoes and stockings are from Dollmore Via Denver Doll. )

Thank you. Parker was also the name for my Dollstown Elf girl who traveled with me for a couple of years. I let her go, but this girl may travel as well and is never leaving.

 

Parker got to go to the local Japanese Garden. She is like the 6 th doll in five years I took. She didn't get to do my one photo I take with all the dolls, but the worker wouldn't allow me in. So next time. Here she is in front of the waterfall.

His name is Icarus and he’s been with me for 2 years now. I bought him directly from Laura of Irrealdoll. He was one of Laura’s Nurs that she let go of. Icarus is in toffee skin and has an OOAK faceup by Little Rebel Dolls

I do wish those with Nurs would share them here. I am hoping Laura will make Enoki MSD sized as she would be adorable as a kid sister for Nurs.

 

Parker not only got some new clothes, all TTYA except shirt and shoes but we found the headphones so she could listen to some music. We have a weekend of meet up fun next week so lots to do to get ready.

Parker added another piece to her wardrobe. This one will be for the summer when she has to attend a garden party or finally goes to Japanese garden near by. Just need to find her a sweet top to go with it and of course some shoes that aren't sneakers.
