Iplehouse PID Discussion V. 01

I love the look of that body - I wonder what the faces will be like and what size they really are

 

I want one. I love tiny dolls and I'm sure that Iplehouse's will be darling!

 

I'm really excited to see this new line from IH.

 

Hummm . . . it looks kind of mature and with broad hips and smaller shoulders. Not as bad as some dolls but not really my thing. If you look at the cell phone I wouldn't be surprised if it was about 30cm tall. Looks too chubby to fit Barbie clothes even if it's the right hight.

I bet the faces are going to be really cute - after all it is Iplehouse - but I know from expierence that tiny mature dolls does not work for me no matter how cute of beautiful they are.

On their flickr page IH said those are going to be smaller than 20 cm.

 

They are really small compared to that shoe. I wonder about the price range.

 

I figured those shoes are doll shoes, so checked their site, and it looks like they are the JID canvas sneakers. It doesn't give the measurements for the shoes, but how big can JID shoes be - 5+ cm? That looks like one very small little doll. Can't wait to see her face, and how they present her.

 

Although cute, it is definitely not my style. (Whew sigh of releif) I have Isar with her slightly elfin ears and that is ok, but I started collecting Iplehouse because they seemed more realistic to me. I can always go to "fantasy" my changing clothes, wigs and eyes. I think it is harder to go from complete fantasy to realistic.

 

I wonder what size head she'll have? If she's under 20cm then her limbs must be very similar in proportions to the pocket fairy sugars (completely different bodies though). I can't wait to see more.

 

This interest me greatly... I try not to get my hopes too high, but I see that Iple can do some very interesting things with this. That pear-shaped body in itself is just too adorable! 83 I eagerly await more.

I'm pretty excited to discover they are going to release a Tiny doll. I'm only hesitating on their KID line because of the size so this news has definitely made me start saving my pennies. Am super curious on the faces myself.

 

To me, those shoes look way too big relative to the iPhone to be JID shoes. My JID girl's sneakers are like those in style, and are not even half the length of my phone. I was assuming they are SD size. Either way, compared to the iPhone, it looks like the doll is going to be at most about 8" or 20cm.

 

I was also assuming the shoes were for a larger doll, but I checked every shoe on the IH site, and they look exactly like the JID boy canvas sneakers. That was definitely a surprise. I can't wait to see what the whole doll looks like.

 

I'm glad you started this thread. I wasn't watching their Flickr pool and wouldn't have seen these pictures otherwise.

I can't wait to see the heads! I bet I am going to want one. I want so many IH dolls.

Oh my gosh I'm so unbelievably excited about this! I have a thing for micros/teenies!! And it looks like (assuming Iplehouse's pattern holds) even a person with very little money to spare can own one of their masterpieces!

just found out about this thread (thanks honeythorpe) if the faces are as cute as the bodies i think i am going to want one.the only problem i can see is it will be a stand alone doll and won't really be able to interact with anything i have right now. unless maybe it works as a taller fairy with realpukis.

 

OMG look at that tiny body with little boobies! I can't wait to see the heads too. The only thing that has me curious is the price, and the first one's to come out will be Limited so they may do the Basic's later this year. I can't wait to see more pictures!

with iplehouse the basics aren't any cheaper than a limited if you get an unclothed doll. usually it is only the clothing and maybe the faceup that ends up being limited. i love their system since you can always get a "limited" doll with no faceup for the basic price!

 

Hmm I wonder how these little gals will look next to Soom's Mini Gems. My Faery Legend girls could use some non-Soom company! I'm excited to see this line released

Yeah the last day of the month if we hear some news......but I can't wait that long..

 

And we get to see her back. 83 Excited, though the head looks like it might be on the bigger side... Or then it is just the wig, that makes it seem that way. x3 Still loving dat body, for sure~!

looks like high heel feet are a possibility! if so i hope they are an option part, i like high heel feet, but not all the time. that used to bug me when i was a kid that my barbies couldn't stand flat footed!

 

Iplehouse can be such a wonderful tease....

Sooooo... just found out about this new line. xD I may have to get one eventually! I've always wanted a doll with these types of body proportions. Plus I love tinies a lot. ^^ I'm excited to see what their faces will look like!

Iplehouse has the links up for PID but no photos. The site says they are 19 cm (about 7.4 inches). I think she looks adorable from behind but I'm not sure of any other line that she/he could share clothes/wigs with? Will PIDs have a huge head to share wigs with BIDs? I hope photos will be posted Monday (Sunday night USA) because I have IpleFever and I need to see these little cuties to see how badly my wallet is going to hurt.

They usually put at least preview photos with the prices. =/ Maybe they'll add them later?

Regardless, I will be watching this with much anticipation... I told myself I'm not allowed to get a doll of this character, but PID's might win me over.

Oh, i just found this and that body is adorable! It really depends on the look of the faces for me, but if the price is right I could very easily be in love

 

19cm dolls!!! I love you Iple! They are only 1 cm smaller then my 20cm girls. I hope they can wear the same clothes/shoes. That will be awesome!

Wow, those first pictures look very good! And Iple says that they can share wigs with BIDs. I love mature tinies, but bigger heads aren't really my cup of tea. But I want more pictures anyway!

 

Looks like they will be offering them in all colors. You can see that the kitty is ebony skin. I didn't think I would be interested, but those costumes are so cute and I can imagine the faces are going to be amazing!

 

Big head dolls are not my thing; however, IH may have made them so super cute as to win me over.

 

Those little animal costumes are cute, but definitely not what I was thinking of after seeing the teaser body pics. Hopefully their heads won't too big. BID wigs are 6/7, which is for a size range, so I'm hoping still a bit smaller than BIDs - like closer to 6" than 7"

 

I forgot to check IH's FLICKR so my initial interpretation was for a more baby like doll which I was wishing for.

A miniature lady would also appeal to me greatly but for that to be so with the PID it would need to be at the largest a 4-5 size wig.

Will just have to wait and see whether IH can tap my wallet for PID.

I do imagine she will appeal to a group of collectors and probably sell well.

 

im actually really disappointed with the new pictures! they show less of the dolls than we have seen previously. those would have made more sense as the first pics.

just thought of something. if the heads are that big, i wonder if they will end up being ot for doa?

 

auntbear - I know!! How incredibly frustrating. I'm so SO curious about these dolls, I really wish they would just go ahead and show us their faces. They're dragging it out to work us all up and get everyone all excited. Not that I blame them, it's one of the best marketing techniques out there.... but URG! I want to see!

 

I wonder too if they will be on topic for DoA as well, I hope so they look really cute so far.
