Hybrids Iplehouse nYID, SID, EID, HID and hybrids Photo ReferencePart 01

I think they're some of my favourite dresses - the Sleeping Beauty set has snaps and a single hook, the other has a zip to do it up. No lacing! So much easier to put on. *pokes the IH website* Is the SB set discontinued? I can't find it - I wanted to recheck the necklace as I don't think the one I put on Mari came with it, although it is an IH necklace. The headband Mari is wearing came from Luts though, and I'm pretty sure it's KDF size.

*continues looking through the IH site* Y'know... I really wish they'd bring out some basic ballerina-flats for the large girls, in a good range of colours. Black, white, pink, blue, red, navy, cream, silver. Such shoes are so versatile and so hard to find.

 

Yay for google image search - I put in 'SID sleeping beauty iplehouse' and it came up with a bunch of pictures. It doesn't answer my question definitely though; Mari's matches one version of the necklace in photos but not the other - one has longer chains, although the pendant section seems the same.

Oh well. Close enough.

@Stella Maris she is so beautiful. Do you like the bigger heads on the nUISance bodies? Even those are pretty big for me, but I'm thinking it's the only way I can get some of the sculpts I like. They look good in the pictures.

Need some cheering up after messing up 2 sales invoices tonight So much for my first sale through MP. May lose out over stupidly forgetting that I shouldn't have included the PayPal fee with this particular sale. *Sigh* Too much going on in real life.

Aww I'm sorry that happened. I'll post some pictures of Zander tomorrow--huge storm hit the PNW today and we lost power--currently still out.

 

Thanks for that, it's really appreciated I think it's the abrupt reply to the mistake I made that upset me most. I've been so up in the air worried about 'real life' stuff, it just hit me harder than it should have to be honest.

Hope the power outage isn't too serious. I hate big storms at the best of times. Looking forward to seeing more of your boy

 

We were out for over 24 hours! Typical of Zander to come home and bring a storm with him, what a jerk.

Here's some spam of him, his long locks are gonna arrive tomorrow so no more short hair YES! Alex is also looking at me like "please give me my stuff back" poor guy.

 

Haha rough start to introductions I guess, being blamed for the storm. You better watch out for retaliation lol

I look forward to his final look, although he's looking great already. Love the folded arm pic. It's like he's going "Just take the picture already!"

 

oh PFFT if he comes after me for anything it's all the hell I've put him through in the novels, but he should know better, I'm God in his world and can make it worse. I mean, he does make it out pretty good in the end.

Thank you! I'm pretty proud of him. I made almost all his clothes (including those gloves). And oh yeah "just take the picture already!" is totally him. Pouty little baby lol

You don't see many Shanes around the boards for some reason. He's a wonderful sculpt.

Finally got Abaddon in a place that I'm mostly happy with her. She's missing her nasal bridge and lip piercings as the specific hardware I want for them is still in the process of shipping. I've re done her tattoos from the first go around to be slightly smaller and lower on the forehead so her hair doesn't cover them up so much.
Hair, faceup/body blushing, and all jewelry except the studded collar and horn clips are by me.
Eyes are Mako eyes. and she's on a DT 18yr girl body in Pure Fresh. Head sculpt is IH Doria in WS.

 

I went back and looked through my pics to see which necklace came with my Sleeping Beauty set. It appears to match the one Mari is wearing in your photo. Here's mine:

Zander is slowly, so very slowly, learning to not take digs at the small angry redhead who's the strongest one in the house. He got some new hands though that, um, *cough* give the middle finger, and he's been using them WAY too much. Lacie's got a lot of patience but absolutely none for him. It's pretty much been Fight Hour nonstop since he got home and Josh has never been so stressed in his life. Z will learn, EVENTUALLY, after months of development, he'll learn. But that's not today so enjoy these goofy photos I took last week.

HAHA would not be the first time she's broken it--but he's a pill and deserved it each time--and considering he's a vampire, he heals pretty fast. Its not like she just attacks him out of nowhere he starts it every single time. Lacie simply won't take his crap LOL

I finally finished this 1860s frock coat. This had to have been the worst pattern I ever bought!
There were extra pattern pieces which weren't properly labelled, and the directions were simply
indecipherable! In the end, I just had to guess what I was supposed to do. Normally I love a
puzzle, but ... I will try it again after a bit more research. I actually bought a McCalls pattern
that helped me figure part of it out.

One neat outcome was that the period pants are made with a button fly! I am quite pleased
with learning how to do that!

This coat will be used for my Roger Hamley costume - from Elizabeth Gaskell's "Wives and
Daughters" - one of my favorite pieces of literature!!! My Molly is still waiting for her dress tho....

hopefully the mods to the pattern and more research will make the next coats go together
more easily.

Just for fun, I put my gal Safiya (nYID ns Isys) decided to try on that lovely Iplehouse serapina
gown - and it may now be 'hers'! The wig is an old CanCan one, it's a bit big so I've ordered
a 7/8 Monique wig; her eyes are Gumdrops 12mm "Chills"; and the necklace is an old Facets
design which seemed to work.

I need some help
I have an SID Soo, named Ophelia and an AS baining, named Lunaya. Now I have this character called Elijah and I'm thinking the YID Patrick sculpt would be perfect but he needs to be taller than them and they stand at about 62-63 so that's really close to the listed height of the YID boy... Could anyone insert a picture of an SID female (flat feet) next to a YID male? It would help me a lot

The story I mentioned above is between a SID female and a YID boy. My Yur is on a SID body, in case you were wondering. Perfect hug-height, she's a tiny bit shorter. Both wear flats

Been a while since I actually got out and took photos, other than phone shots, so here's some spam of my big girls! Ember got the dark hippie set from Iplehouse awhile ago and omg, it is fully worth the money. It's amazing. So may well made pieces! And as for Lacie, everything in my yard is dormant for winter which means I can actually reach the japanese maple so she can go tree climbing! Today marks 1 year ago that her and Josh arrived too, and I believe one of the first pictures I took of her was in this tree. One year later, and she's still my favorite.

Aww thank you!! It's hard to pick one but Lacie (Bliss) was my grail doll.

Also, sorry for bad photos but! I finally repainted Lacie and Josh this weekend woo! I am so much happier with their faceups! Lacie doesn't look like she's wearing makeup now and Josh has a much softer/sweeter and younger look to him.

 

Awwww, Josh looks so adorable now! (dem FRECKLEZ!!!) I wanna hug him And the no-makeup look suits Lacie much better. Great job!

 

Aww thank you!! I ADORE his freckles, I hated how they didn't even show up on his old faceup so I went a little ham haha!
Yeah I couldn't get past Lacie's eyelashes and lip color. It was too much for her and she's a girl who doesn't wear makeup ever. She's got dark under eye circles from countless sleepless nights and is definitely a hot mess.

 

I ordered wig for MSD, but mistakenly sent the wig on SD. Put on a EID and a perfectly fit.

It was a lovely ending to an epic Iple saga!

I can't imagine what they will come up with next.

 

I know! I half hope the new series is something that doesn't interest me much....so I can build back up my savings.

Ah, Edan.....

Edan might be my favorite sculpt of the series... although not by much - there were so many wonderful sculpts in CH. My two Edans:

The first was default all the way... I even got his wig (although he's not wearing it in the picture), boots, full set outfit, and chose the RS resin he was shown in for their story...



The second in normal skin was sent to Angel Toast for his very different faceup...




I'm going to miss all the superb costumes and other goodies that accompanied this series... though my wallet is sighing in great relief... for now.
