Wow! I LOVE her! Another 'must have'. Why does our dollar have to be so low?

 

I think she has such attitude. I feel like the small Iplehouse have been getting even more realistic lately. It's hard for them to put out a sculpt I don't like, lol.

 

I agree. I love their more realistic sculpts, and the last few new BIDs and KIDs totally speak to me.

 

I really like the realism they've been showing lately. Paige has got to be my favorite KID so far... she will definitely be coming here as soon as I can swing it. LOVE that smile!

 

Love love LOVE Paige! She looks like a real tomboy. The new outfits are cute, too. I'll be bringing her home at some point to keep Lisa company.

@Forever I also think she'd make a great boy.

 

Gah! Paige would be perfect for a character I'm trying to shell... except I have the character she goes with already shelled in YOSD. Paige is just that bit too big/old. Damn. But she is great -she's very interesting-looking.

no kidding eh? I found a source of the Glibs that are IH's default eye choice... omg the colors... Denver Doll will get an order of 'cheap' eyes that is gonna cost me ><

I am not sucked in by all (not all to my 'taste') but you are right. the faces do seem to be getting better... they mush have a sculptor or two that have hit their stride I'd say.

I like her little flat 'not' smile... almost as good as Ringo's pout!

I have thought about that because I really like the look of Paige. But I think it would bother me having the characters out of sync. I shall think on it some more and see.

 

Lonnie is my first Iplehouse KID doll. I knew that she could wear the same size wig (6-7) and shoes as my IH BID dolls. I was happy to discover that she can wear some of the clothing I already have for my Effner Little Darling (13 inch) dolls.

Se is really lovely. Love the outfit, especially the leggings.

 

The Tudor gown from Iplehouse is really lovely as well. Lonnie (NS) looks so different in it.

 

Your Lonnie looks amazing in that gorgeous Tudor gown! But then she seems to look great in everything.

 

It's so cool for me to see Lonnie in her Tudor dress outfit....because you see....my Lonnie got the Tudor boy outfit...

chiming in a bit late, but i agree paige is a must have!, at least after i sell a doll and get the funds. i'm so glad she is basic and i'll have a chance to get her eventually. she just replace joy in my wish list for my elf boy. i "need" to get her and elf her ears!

 

I really want to order her, but I find it so difficult to decide on a resin colour when Iplehouse only shows us the dolls in normal and PG. Which means waiting to see owner pics of her in real skin.

I think Paige would make a great boy!

 

i was thinking real skin too. i'm actually tempted to get that faceup as well, but i've been disappointed by iplehouse faceups in the past so i'll probably get him blank and just try and do something similar.

Alice got some Mako eyes in a 12mm. It seems like the iris of these is slightly smaller than the other 12mms I have. I love the way they look quite a bit.

 

very pretty eyes. the makos definitely run smaller than other eyes. i can use the 12's in my pukifee who normally wears a 10mm i'd like to get more for my other dolls

Thanks all! Alice is my easy doll. I like her in everything, any color hair, eyes, clothes, lol. I think that old peach gold is a really versatile color.

I'd definitely like more Mako eyes in the future, especially for my Lonnie. I'm trying out some of the new Safrin Doll in 10 mm for her when they get here. It's a little easier to experiment with colors at her price.

Have you seen the Iple's announcement? They're retiring Alice and Bambi as KID Sculpts, they won't even be available in dollchoice after June 26th. There is an event going on, from today until May 1st, the discount is 20% and from May 2nd to June 26th it'll be 10%.

Yes, but the one bit of 'good' news is that they will be offering light brown as a Basic choice for the discontinued dolls during their final sale period.

 

And they are allowing layaway for those who can't pay in full as well

 

I know, but I can't buy a Bambi now so I'll have to hunt her on the second hand market OR to change the doll for my character, I'm really thinking to it XD... Sincerely, I thought I had more time because Bambi had just been put on basic XD... I really was bummed because of this XD.

 

Still working on my Lonnie. I think I finally found the right color of hair for her, but I think I'd like a short hairstyle for her. This one is pulled back a lot. Her smaller eyes are on the way, and tomorrow I am going to try do a temporary pink on her lips. I do like this look much better than any she has had before.

 

Your Lonnie looks lovely! I like the wig color for her.

I am also working on finding the perfect wig and eyes for my Lonnie. Here she is with her new 12mm Mako eyes and a Monique Charlene wig. I usually get a 6-7 wig for her but this 7-8 wig is nice because it has longer hair. I watched a video on how to sew in a piece of elastic to make a larger wig size fit better so I might attempt it for this wig.

Loving all the pictures! I've not ordered Paige since it was more important to take advantage of the discontinued Sale first, and get a BID and JID on sale. But Paige will definitely be coming at some point.

Today I finally got around to Milo's birthday pictures. His arrival date was actually in mid April , but I wasn't able to throw him a party yet. Today I tried taking some portraits of him with his cake, but Winston, the Dragon, kept photo-bombing....

 

@MB Lilac I love, love, love Winston! I still can't believe you made him. (But I know you did because of all the in progress photos on your blog.) What a personality he's got! So, do you think Milo knows he's there?

Hello, this is Iplehouse.

Since a lof customers asked for us to sell discontinued heads separately,
we decided to sell head parts until June 26th, 2016.

We won't be selling discontinued characters on Doll Choice after June 26th,
so this will be the last change to get these heads.

Sales Period: May 2nd – May 29th

- It will be sold on Doll Option Parts section.
- Since it is made in different period, there can be some color difference from the body.
- Layaway won't be offered.

 

Thanks! I'm really enjoying including Winston in photos with my dolls. This is why I always wanted a poseable dragon. No, Milo doesn't know he's there, but I think he adds some fun to an otherwise rather static picture.

Lonnie (NS) is showing Iplehouse BID Naias (Glow NS) her iPad during their playdate today. Lonnie is wearing her new skort set I made from an Adams-Harris pattern for Iplehouse KID dolls.

 

My Paige arrived today. I absolutely loved her on Iple's site, and in the resin she did not disappoint. Usually I alter Iple's default looks quite a bit, but I really fell hard for Paige's B faceup, so I didn't change much at all.
Her outfit, a pair of brown eyes (Eyeco Carmel, not her Iple defaults, which were dark blue-green), and the same color wig may end up staying for this little girl.
(They were sold out of the wig with the bangs in saddle brown, or I would have added that, too.)

She's in the glow PG resin, and I love that, too. It is very reminiscent of the original PG resin.

I am totally smitten with this little girl...I don't normally order a new sculpt immediately, but I fell in love with Paige and just had to order as soon as I could after her release.

These are the eyes she came with from Iplehouse - they're nice enough, but not what I planned for her.

 

Thanks, Jill for the extra pic. Paige looks somehow different from all the other Iplehouse KIDs, it's like a new style (which I really like)!

 

She was at the top of my 'next to buy' list, but then Iplehouse had to have that discontinued dolls sale, and I spent my dolly dollars there instead.

I agree that Paige seems to be a different style than most of the other KIDs. She seems to be a more expressive, realistic sculpt. I like that she has a bit of a smile. It's nice to have someone who isn't either straight-faced, or sad looking.

 

@Jill in WV Thank you so much, she looks adorable! When I first saw the sculpt somewhere on fb I thought she was a Minisup girl. She'd make a great boy, too.

I have to agree - although I love my Peach boys, Lonnie and Joy, Paige's sculpt seems more realistic to me. Some of it might be her wider mouth and well-formed nose, and her chin is more prominent and rather "determined." The differences aren't extreme, just enough to get me to notice.

I, too, love her smirky llittle smile.

Paige is a must have for me, too, but I will have to sell something in order to get her. I've spent the last of my dolly dollars for a while.

In a way Paige reminds me of SoulDoll's Kid Ahee. (Another discontinued doll.) I hope Iplehouse keeps her around for a while.
